Everybody say hi to texaschaplain. He/she has joined so that we can
work out more of what happened next. :)
So, what does happen next? Um, why don't we finish off the story
that we have had on hold for a few years. Is anyone in the mood to
write?
Here is the plot for episode 2.3. I marked which scene still needs
to be written.

1)Opening- Chigs attack the methane planet. (finished)

2)Blair and Hyland interchange.
(He announces his clearence to go with the 58th
on their methane mission)
(The only scene that hasn't been written. I'm starting to wonder if
we even need this scene)

3)58th gets briefed on their next mission, Gear's
up, Hill's new call sign becomes an issue. (finished)

4)Landing and Deploying on planet. (Humorus pig
encounters)(finished)

5)AI's get into a shoot out with the 58th -skrzat

6)Blair sneaks off, Hyland follows him to an old IV
facility. (Blair sets a bomb, AI's show up, Hyland
pockets evidence)(finished)

7)Vansen and 58th find and rescue Hyland and Blair -skrzat

8)back on the saratoga -Hill gets another religious
flier (finished)

9)Hyland privatly reviews the evidence she found at
the facility. (finished)

It's been awhile, so let me know if anyone wants me to send the
written scenes out so that people can reaquaint themselves with it.
Before the long silence that only spammers could dissrupt :p We were
hashing out a plot for episode 2.4. This isn't set in stone so send
feedback.

Scene 1. AIs giving the Chigs intelligance trying to build a
conspiracy theory here, the AI's are giving specific info on the
58th mission to bring Media big wigs out to meet and greet the
troops. AI's are working for Aerotech. Aerotech wants the convoy
ambushed so that everyone on earth steps up their support of the
war. Specifially Aerotech wants approval on developing a super
pricey experimental space craft. however, the chigs can't know any
of this or they wouldn't attack because a, they don't like aerotech,
and B don't want the war to continue.

Scene 2. Started with a short little pre mission breefing scene.
Mission breifing. Think big people mover type ship. Assignments:
Hyland, West & Vansen piloting?
Damphousse, Low and Keegan ship guns? Hawkes, Hill, Stone, and
Laterner babysit cargo (media circus)?

Scene 3. On the way to pick up the media circus the radar
malfunctions or has strange readings?

Scene 4. Intro the media circus. The 58th has to get all of those
big egos and their equipment onto the transport.

Scene 5. On the mission, Hill finds out that the religious group is
real rather than the prank he thought it was.

Scene 6. Begin attack. Up to the author as to how much warning they
have.

Scene 7. (McQueen scene? He could be walking through a store in town
where the TV is on and everyone is watching this news feed.) Live
news feed back on earth of the attack (maybe blair witch type of
feel. It'll be the media people reacting to the effects of the fear
gun transmitting the chaos on the disabled ship. Fear weapon going
off during the broadcast causing the
feed to end in horrible violence and chaos causing a rattled anchor
man to step in.

Scene 8. Battle scene with the group manning the ships guns. One of
the charaters needs to die. We simply have too many. My
recommendations would be Low, or Stone and have it happen where
Vanessa will either deal, or lose it. Slow or fast death is the
author's call.

Scene 9. Battle climax. Our pilot crew lucks their way in to losing
the enemy despite the effects of the fear gun. (By the way, what do
we think Hyland's fear will be?)

Scene 10. Take stock. Any escort fighters left? Casualty report?
Passengers' status? Contact the Saratoga.
