I may be somewhat out of place here. But I've enjoyed reading each
of your posts. I just got through watching an episode of "The Saint"
from 1967 (she had at least 2 appearances as different characters in
the Roger Moore version/series) and once again was captured by the
sexy and beautiful Sue Lloyd, just as I had been by her appearance
in "The Ipcress File" 39 years ago. I have never seen her in anything
else (except the saint) and still haven't but will now probably force
myself to watch some episodes of keeping up appearances (which will
please my wife).
I'm sorry to learn that her book, "It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the
Time," is out of print. I was trying to find it when I came across
this forum. Mainly so I could use her publisher as a means of
sending her a fan letter.
Anyway, if you've not gotten the answer about her role in the Ipcress
file, she plays the sexy agent who winds up bedding Harry Palmer
(Michael Caine) while acting as Ross's spy on Palmer. Ross is
Palmer's control and I believe her name was Jane.
I hope she hasn't aged as much as I have have since 1965.
