Paul called Dante over to his office to question him about a huge
charge that showed up on Dante's credit card (where Dante had paid for
Arden's lawyer). Dante told him he had no reason to not trust Arden,
and should be worried about his own girlfriend. Eventually they made a
deal to not interfere with each other relationships. Paul told Dante
that he was going to propose to Barbara and Dante agreed to be the
best man.

At Sutter's Mill, Angela stopped by to see Damien and told him that
she left Brian a voice mail trying to touch base after he walked out
on their lunch. Damien told her that Brian was an upstanding guy
according to Arden. Caroline showed up happy that she was meeting
Manny for lunch, which seemed to bother Angela somewhat, even though
she told Caroline it didn't bother her at all.

After Caroline told Cyrus, Elijah and Damien about seeing the blue car
that almost hit her, Elijah quickly left Sutter's Mill. Caroline
called Dee Levin to tell her the news.

Barbara showed up at Paul's office and he implied that he would soon
be asking her to marry him. He noticed she hadn't slept well and she
lied and told it was because her estranged brother had contacted her
desperate for money. Paul was confused but offered to help. She told
him she needed $20,000.


By the time Caroline and Cyrus went back outside, the blue car was
gone. But Caroline saw it was a Mercury Marquis so now there is hope
of finding the driver.

Miranda showed Felicia into the Ramos estate and Barbara quickly got
rid of her when she realized who Felicia was. Felicia told her she
knew about her affair with Damien and she would expose her to Paul if
she didn't pay her $20,000. Barbara scoffed but Felicia let her know
she had one week.

Angela confided in Karen that she was afraid she had made a terrible
mistake with Brian, by implying he might have been her secret admirer.
Karen advised her to put some distance between them.


Elijah was talking to Damien at Sutter's Mill when Cyrus showed up
wanting to tell Damien about his feelings for him. Caroline ran in and
said that she saw the blue car that almost hit her in the parking lot.

Arden came to Rockland and had lunch with Dante and Sutter's Mill. She
wants to find a job and get her own place eventually. Dante told her
she didn't have to pay him back, and she asked him why he had done so
much for her. He was about to tell her that he was falling in love
with her, but Damien interrupted them.

Brian met Angela in her office and they planned on going to lunch, but
she decided it was time to tell him about her secret admirer. She told
him it had to be someone she knows, but he said he knew her address
right away from Google so not necessarily. She was shocked that he
knew where she lived early on because she ruled him out as her secret
admirer because he didn't know. Brian was hurt that she accused him
and walked out on her.


Barbara showed up at Damien's and he was disappointed to find out she
wasn't there to start things up again. She told him about Felicia's
visit to Paul's house and he warned her to avoide Felicia at all costs.

Arden and Brian were shocked to find Eve on Brian's doorstep. Eve told
them she wanted to get away from Cliff but did not receive the warm
welcome she was hoping for. Brian told her she was an awful mother and
he wanted nothing to do with her.

Elijah told Paul that he might be able to finish college in December
and wanted to be as successful as he has been. Paul wish Dante had
this type of motivation. Dee interrupted them and told Paul the
Caroline Hart hit and run case had been dropped because they couldn't
identify the blue car that tried to hit her. Paul asked her what she
knew about Dan's relationship with his late wife, Julia.


Cyrus ran into Caroline at Sutter's Mill and she told him that the
police had dropped the case because the two of them couldn't be more
specific about the blue car they saw.


Outside the Ramos estate, Barbara returned home to find Elijah sitting
on the ground beside his blue car.

Cyrus admitted to Angela that he had a crush on Damien. She told him
she thought he had a crush on her because she was receiving anonymous
letters like the one Karen saw him writing to someone. He told her he
figured Damien didn't return his feelings because he assumed the red
head at Sutter's Mill was his girlfriend. Angela realized that Damien
had been seeing Barbara.

Manny showed up to see Angela and Karen wasn't happy to see him. He
told her that Angela called him down there and that maybe she didn't
know her best friend as well as she thought.

Arden and Brian talked about their developing romantic relationships
and Brian told her that it would do her a world of good to be away
from their mother, Eve. They heard a knock on the door and it was none
other than Eve herself.

Angela accused Manny of being her secret admirer but he swore on his
mother's grave that he wasn't. She didn't know what to think now.


Miranda told Barbara about Felicia's mysterious visit. Barbara was
confused but tried not to let on to Miranda that she was worried. She
told Miranda not to say anything to Paul.

Dante realized that Damien was lovesick and tried to get him to talk
about it, but Damien refused. Dante admitted he was in love with Arden.

Felicia stopped by the Ramos estate to see Barbara and talked to
Miranda. She left a message for Barbara that she would be in touch
very soon.


Angela told Karen she didn't think Cyrus could be her secret admirer
because he was at Sutter's Mill when the last note was left. Karen
wanted her not to rule him out. Alone with Cyrus, Angela demanded he
tell her who his secret crush was. He hesitated but admitted that it
was Damien, much to Angela's surprise.

Manny gave Caroline a tour of his new apartment in Suffern. He told
her that he had violent outbursts while drinking and can never take
another drink again.

Dante made small talk with Elijah and realized that he is a bitter guy
who seems to be jealous of him. Elijah denied having any feelings
about Dante whatsoever.

Cyrus told Karen that he wasn't comfortable talking about his secret
crush to her yet, which made her even more confused.

Angela talked to Detective Dee Levin about her secret admirer and Dee
decided to scan the letters for fingerprints. Damien showed up and
told Angela that Cyrus was at Sutter's Mill last night basically
ruling him out as Angela's letter writer. Angela was sure it now had
to be Manny.

Angela told Karen about the noise she heard last night and that her
secret admirer was on her front porch while she was home alone. She
didn't think she could work with Cyrus if he was the one doing this.

Elijah stopped in at Sutter's Mill and made his feelings for Dante
clear to Damien. Damien didn't recognize him which also got under his
skin.


At the Psych Center cafeteria, Karen joined Cyrus for lunch and he
told her that he was writer a letter to his secret crush. Karen was
shocked.

In the back room at Sutter's Mill, Barbara told Damien she had to
break things off with him. She regretted ever starting up their
relationship again. She wanted to make things work with Paul. Damien
accused her of only caring about his money. She left and Damien
returned to the front where Felicia had arrived. She saw him with
Barbara and guessed that she was the woman he was seeing. She told him
he was a lovesick fool and would never learn.

Detective Dee Levin told Caroline that they didn't have enough
evidence to pursue Paul or any other suspect in her hit and run. She
also told her not to upset her brother Dan by asking questions about
Julia Ramos's death or she would keep her from seeing him ever again.

Paul invited Benny to the Ramos estate much to Barbara's surprise. He
found a job at L&R Construction for Benny and Benny quickly accepted,
even though Barbara pointed out he is not qualified. Alone, Barbara
threatened Benny not to cause trouble at L&R or for her. He told her
he was a loose cannon so she had better watch out. Barbara worried
nosy housekeeper, Miranda, would hear them.

At Sutter's Mill, Cyrus stopped in again and was just about to reveal
his secret crush to Damien when Barbara showed up.

Angela chatted with Brian on the phone after their dinner date.
Suddenly they were disconnected and she tried but failed to call him
back. She heard a noise outside and went out there and found a note
from her secret admirer which said "I ache for your body and soon will
have it." Angela got scared and quickly went back inside.

In her office, Caroline told Paul that someday she was going to prove
that he murdered Julia. Paul told her she was obsessed with him and
couldn't stop thinking about it. He tried to tear her down and then
left leaving her in frustration.

In Burlington, Vermont, Arden told Dante the police were not going to
charge her with fleeing the scene of the crime. She is free to go.
Arden's mother, Eve, showed up and told Arden she was becoming just
like her Aunt Barbara, whoring herself out to the highest bidder.
Dante tried to defend Arden, but Eve has completely turned on her
daughter. Arden told her if she was a slut, it was because she learned
it from her. Eve slapped her across the face, and then Arden said some
parting words and left Vermont for good.

At the Rockland Psych Center, Karen told Angela she should confront
Cyrus about being her secret admirer but Angela still suspected Manny.
Brian arrived at Angela's office and met Karen for the first time.
Once alone, Brian admitted he really likes Angela and she decided to
be forward and kiss him. He told her he had wanted to do that since
day one and kissed her again.

At the Ramos Estate, Manny stopped by and had a conversation with
Miranda. She told him no one was home and that Paul wouldn't want him
there. He accused her of having a thing for Paul all these years.
Miranda's son, Elijah, interrupted and asked what was going on, but
Miranda told him nothing.

At her office, Caroline was surprised to see Paul. He told her that if
he had wanted her dead, she would be dead.

Barbara was stunned to see Benny in Paul's office. After Paul got
called away, Benny explained that he only told Paul that he and
Barbara only worked together at Romano's. He hadn't told him the real
story about what they were doing there. Barbara told him she didn't
need him and wanted him gone. Benny reminded her of their steamy
nights in the East Village. Paul returned and offered to find Benny a
job at L&R Construction.

Caroline invited Laurence Jameson into her office to tell him that
he's off probation and has been hired on full-time. He was ecstatic
because he assumed he was called in to be fired. He told her that he's
in AA now following the death of his son earlier this year.

Ramos housekeep Miranda and her son, Elijah, clashed over their
viewpoints about his life and their future. She told him she has given
up on her dreams, but he refused to accept less than his rival, Dante,
would ever have and dreamed that some day he would live the good life.

At the Rockland Psych Center, Damien wasn't as convinced as Karen and
Angela that Manny was Angela's secret admirer. After Cyrus interrupted
their conversation and Damien told them that he though Cyrus had a
crush on Angela, they wondered if maybe it was him.

At an AA meeting in Nyack, Laurence told his story to the group, and
then Manny stood up and introduced himself.

Karen and Angela invited Cyrus to lunch to try to find out more about
him to see if he was Angela's secret admirer. He admitted having a
crush on someone but didn't say who it was. Karen was sure it was Angela.

Arden was grilled by the Burlington police and Dante offered to hire a
lawyer for her. He agreed to not mention her relationship to Barbara
to his father.

Manny confessed his alcoholism to Caroline who told him if Angela knew
it might change everything.

Angela received another love letter from her secret admirer and she
wondered if it was from Cyrus.

As she was leaving the Rockland Psych Center, Caroline was nearly hit
by a car. Cyrus ran out to see if she was alright and then realized
his premonition was right.

Angela was telling Karen about her date with Brian when Cyrus and
Caroline ran up. Cyrus only knows it was a blue car, and Caroline
didn't see who was driving.


Barbara told Miranda to keep calling her Ms. Whitman for now but
dreamed of being Mrs. Ramos. Paul arrived home and admitted to Barbara
that he found out who Dante's biological father was in Julia's journal.


Brian called Angela to tell her how much he enjoyed their date and she
shared his feelings. He told her to get rid of the negativity in her
life, so she called Manny and told him to stop writing to her and
sending her flowers. He acted like he had no idea what she was talking
about.


Dante and Arden arrived in Vermont and shared a bed for the night.

Damien heard a knock on his door after he got out of the shower, and
ran to the door and found his ex-girlfriend, Felicia, on his door
step. She told him that she had heard he had a mystery lady and wanted
to know who it was. He told her it was none of her business, but she
was determined to find out.

At St. John Hospital in Manhattan, Brian gave Angela a tour of the
burn unit he works in. They continued to bond and talked about their
first impressions. Angela told him she was a hopeless romantic, and he
replied he didn't think she was hopeless at all.


At the police station in Vermont, Dante and Arden arrived to see Eve
Morgan, Arden's mother. Eve told Arden that Cliff Myers was alive and
if he found out that Arden shot him, he'd come after her.

When Eve found out Arden planned on leaving Vermont forever and was
going to be staying with Brian and was in contact with Barbara, she
became furious and told her she was no longer her daughter. A tearful
Arden cried on Dante's shoulder.

Manny and Caroline had an early dinner at Sutter's Mill when Cyrus and
Karen stopped by their table. Manny thinks Caroline should pump Cyrus
for information and find out what else he sees in her future.


Barbara showed up at Paul's office and was shocked to see Benny there
talking to Paul.

Caroline arrived at the Rockland Psych Center to see Dan after Dan's
sister approved her visit. Caroline is convinced Paul had a hand in
her sister's death and feels Dan Levin holds the key. Angela told
Karen it may just be the rantings of a bitter sister, and Karen picked
up on Angela's animosity towards Caroline. Angela admitted she saw
Caroline with Manny on her date with Brian last night, but swore she
was completely over him.

Caroline begged Dan to tell her what he knows about Julia's death, but
he said he couldn't talk about it.


Paul finally found the key he's been looking for to the post office
box. He told a curious Barbara that it contained personal information
that he needed.


Dante and Brian tried to assure Arden that everything would be fine,
and Dante and Arden prepared to leave for Vermont.


Cyrus apologized to Caroline for telling her about his premonition. As
she left the hospital, a car started and sped towards her.


At the Nyack post office, Paul was disturbed by what he found in the
post office box.

Arden told Dante that she shot a man. Dante was shocked, but knew
reporter, Leslie Smithers, was up to no good, and advised Arden not to
talk to her. Barbara arrived and threw Leslie out.

Manny stopped by the hospital to see Karen to pump her for information
about Angela. Karen told her Angela had moved on and was dating
someone new.

Dante was shocked to learn Barbara was Arden's aunt, but agreed not to
say anything to Paul. Dante volunteered to go to Vermont with Arden to
get this mess straightened out.

Angela met Brian at Legal Seafood's at the mall, unaware that Manny
and Caroline were meeting there as well.

Manny and Caroline discussed the lack of fun in both their lives at
Legal Seafood's where they were having dinner. Manny was shocked to
see Angela walk in with a date.

Damien received a call from Barbara canceling their plans again.
Damien admitted to himself that he loved her.

Cyrus and Karen discussed his psychic premonitions. She told him to
keep them to himself and he just wished he had someone to talk to who
truly understood.

Back at Legal Seafood's, Brian and Angela were having a successful
first date until Manny walked over to their table. Angela told Brian
he was just someone she knew a long, long time ago.

Angela prepared for her first meeting with her online friend, Brian.
They decided to meet at Legal Seafood's for dinner. Angela wanted to
pick a public place.
Meanwhile, Manny visited Caroline to catch up with her and she agreed
to have dinner with him...at Legal Seafood's.

Dante showed up at Brian's to see Arden. She told him that he was
better off away from her, but he didn't agree. Newspaper reporter
Leslie Smithers showed up to ask Arden questions about the shooting.
Dante realized she was up to no good.

Cyrus stopped by Sutter's Mill and met Damien and revealed his crush
on Angela.

Barbara made her way into Manhattan to find Brian, her nephew.

Paul went to the Rockland Psych Center to try to see his step-brother,
Dan Levin, but Cyrus and Karen wouldn't let him in. Karen told her
that Dan's sister had asked that he not be allowed to see him.

Dante told Barbara about Arden and her brother, Brian, and Barbara
seemed to recognize their names. She told Dante she couldn't tell him
how just yet.

Caroline stopped by Sutter's Mill for a drink and Damien spilled the
beans about his romance. She was intrigued that he wouldn't reveal the
woman's name.

Angela got an email from Brian about their first date tomorrow night.
Manny showed up at her door wanting to talk but she wouldn't let him
in. After he left, she surmised that he must be the one sending her
flowers and leaving her love letters.

Barbara was stunned to find Benny on her doorstep. He told her that he
heard she was doing well for herself and wanted to check it out. She
begged him to let her keep the first happiness she had even known. She
gave Paul a lame excuse about who was at the door so he had his
security lead get the man's license plate number.

Manny stopped by Sutter's Mill to see Damien. Damien was happy to see
him but warned him not to hurt Angela again.

Angela talked to Cyrus about the rumors going around the hospital and
he told her he had visions about people being in danger and felt he
needed to tell them. He agreed to keep this to himself at work.

Brian tried to convince Arden that she need to go back home to Vermont
and deal with the shooting. He promised her once it was over, she
could leave Vermont for good.

Angela arrived home from work and found flowers on her doorstep from
her mysterious admirer.

Episode 5 "Brotherly Love"
Arden confessed to Brian that she shot and killed their mother's
latest boyfriend, Cliff, when he tried to attack her.

Karen told Angela that the hospital rumor mill was trashing intern,
Cyrus, for his psychic ability.

Manny showed up at the Ramos estate and had a confrontation with Paul
who told him to leave. Barbara pretended not to know him but Paul
realized that Manny called Barbara by her name and called her on it.

Dante told Caroline that he just met Arden but couldn't stop thinking
about her.

Barbara received a surprising and unwelcome visitor.

Angela went to lunch with Karen, a nurse at the hospital and an old
friend, and told her about her new online love interest. Angela was
apprehensive about it and even more so after Angela told her she
received an anonymous love letter yesterday.


Dante and Arden shared a nice walk on the pier in Nyack but she
continued to keep her reasons for being there a secret. Her brother,
Brian, called and Dante and Arden took off for Manhattan.


Damien stopped by the Ramos estate to see Barbara and Paul walked up
after they shared a kiss. He wasn't suspicious of their affair but
Barbara worried he'd find out.


In New York, Dante said goodbye to Arden. Arden confessed to Brian
that she had to leave home because she killed somone.

After psychic Cyrus told her she's in danger, Caroline ran into Paul
Ramos outside the hospital. He told her he knows she's causing trouble
for him and it has to stop. She threatened to tell Dante he was
adopted and he implied she may meet the same fate as her sister, his
deceased wife.

Arden left a note on Brian's door with Dante's cell phone number.


Manny stopped by the Ramos estate and started Barbara. He told her he
was Paul's brother and she agreed not to tell Paul he was back in
Rockland.


Angela figured out Damien has a new love after she read a mysterious
love letter.


Paul gave Dante six months to go to college or come to work for him or
he'll cut off his expense account.


Angela felt she was being followed.

At the Ramos estate, Barbara tried to get Paul's attention at
breakfast when his mind was wandering. He apologized and told her he
was thinking about Dante. He wants him to come to work for him.
Security told him Dante came home with another woman last night.
Barbara told him to lighten up and that Dante was only 22 and trying
to have fun. He asked her about the book she's been reading every
night and she blew him off, saying it was just a silly romance novel.


At the Ramos guest house, Arden came downstairs and Dante tried to
question her about why she was trying to reach her brother, but she
didn't want to talk about it. He offered to drive her into the city
after they had breakfast.


At the Rockland Psych Center, Dr. Angela Givens welcomed Dan Levin
back after he had stayed a few years at the Westside Hospital in
Manhattan. He told her he was in love with a woman at Westside, but
she didn't return his feelings. Cyrus, the intern, came in and called
Angela out to tell her that Caroline Hart had arrived to visit Dan.
Dan was a prime suspect in Caroline's sister's murder, but they were
once friends so Angela agreed to let her see him.


In Manhattan, Dr. Brian Morgan returned home from an all night shift
at the hospital and found a note from Arden on his door. He wondered
why she contacted him.


Back at the Rockland Psych Center, Dan got upset the moment he saw
Caroline Hart and began throwing things. She begged him to tell her
what he knows, but Angela had to ask her to leave.


In the hallway, intern Cyrus asked Caroline if she was alright. She
told him she was. He then got a premonition that something bad was
going to happen. He told her he was a psychic and she was in danger.


At the Ramos guest house, Damien arrived just as Dante and Arden were
leaving for breakfast. Arden invited him, but Dante made it clear he
wanted to be alone with her. After they left, Barbara called Damien to
tell him she couldn't meet him tonight. She didn't want Paul to become
suspicious. He told her that Paul can't give her what he can, and she
told him he had millions of things Damien didn't. Damien wondered what
her true motives were.

Driving down Highway 287 in Rockland County, Arden Morgan's car broke
down and she got out to try to hitch a ride to New York City. Dante
Ramos and Damien givens pull up to ask her what the problem is. Damien
reminded Dante that he didn't want to go home tonight so they offered
to give her a ride into the city.


At the home of Jean-Carlos Ramos, Paul Ramos greets Gretchen Styles
and Charlie Dean who have arrived from New York. Paul is Carlos's
cousin who is helping Gretchen sell the house she recently inherited.
Charlie and Gretchen left to look around and Paul gloated that he now
has what he was looking for.


At McNally's Bar in Manhattan, Arden was upset because she can't reach
her brother and she has nowhere to go tonight. Dante offered to let
her stay in his guest house with him, and
Arden accepted once he told her he wasn't trying to pick her up.


At the Rockland Psych Center, Manny Ramos stopped by looking for Dr.
Angela Givens. Intern Cyrus Connor told him she was gone for the day.
Manny quickly left without giving his name.


At her home in Nyack, Dr. Angela Givens chatted on line with
"BurnDoctor212". He signed off to go to work and she wondered when/if
they would meet in person.


At the Ramos estate, Paul was tearing his study apart when his lover,
Barbara Whitman, interrupted. He told her he was looking for something
but refused to say what it was. He told her he had yet another fight
with his son, Dante, and said his mood had nothing to do with Carlos's
ex-wife. Paul went up to bed and Barbara told him she was going to
stay downstairs to read, but she was secretly sneaking out.


At the Ramos guest house, Damien, Dante and Arden returned from
Manhattan. Arden couldn't believe a guest house could be so nice.
Damien suddenly had to leave, surprising Dante. As Arden went upstairs
to check out the jacuzzi, Dante wondered what her story was and where
Damien was running off to.
