I just watched the DVD, Robin and the Sorceror Part 1 on my plain,
old GE TV. How? I bought the first in the series from
networkvideos.co.uk in the PAL format, bought a region free DVD
player...to be specific, SAMPO DVE 611 B, and it simply plays it like
a charm.

For those who have awaited the Region 1 format, it may or may not
ever be produced. With a little research, a very understanding
Internet Goddess, Louise Abel of networkvideos, [who agreed to send
me the DVDs contrary to their usual policy of sending the 'wrong'
format to the U.S.A.,only to be returned as defective or whatever
when the NTSC players won't play them], and my fingers crossed......
IT WORKED!
