I heard the turnouts in NYC and Philly were light, and that the
preliminary interviews were conducted in groups of five with little to
no real in-depth questioning going on. Apparently it also seemed that
they were targeting people who did not currently have jobs (which
somewhat makes sense in wanting to have people available for the whole
time of the show being filmed), and apparently there were quite a few
people there who had never even seen one episode of The Mole. What
that results in...? Who knows. Let's just hope they keep their
promise of not dumbing the show down, and that it gets really good
ratings when it airs. I just hope the casting doesn't turn out to be
of the most controversial people they could find... if The Mole turns
into "Big Brother Clue" or "SuvivorMole", then I'll be very
disappointed.
