Leen,
Thanks for posting all the great pictures! I would love for us as a group to
work on getting a centotaph for Eric. That would be so cool! Of course, that
means we would all have to go back for the commemoration. I'm sure there were a
few of those dangerous streets with the exposed drops we didn't find, so count
me in. Linda and I want to be Thelma and Louise again!!! Hal can't wait to drive
the van to the edge of another cliff and that watch dog on the roof misses us.
The police are still looking for the crazy woman who tried to break into
Hollywood High and the grey van that turned around in Johnny Depp's driveway.
Mirna won't mind coming all the way back from Australia since she enjoys
traveling so much and Julia will bring Clint.
What are we waiting for?
Dee

For those who are interested in final resting places I've finished my "Graving"
album.
The headstones for Jayne Mansfield and Hattie McDaniel are what are known as
centotaphs. They are simply markers put there by family or fans. The remains
are elsewhere.
The Hattie McDaniel story is moving. The oscar winning actor from "Gone with
the Wind" wished to be buried in Hollywood, but simply because she was black it
was not allowed at the time. So she was buried in Rosedale. Finally her wishes
were realized in 1999 when the new owner of Hollywood Forever offered the next
best thing.
Since Hollywood Walk of Fame stars are so expensive this would be a nice way to
commemorate Eric's life and death. Especially since we have no such marker in
the US or anywhere.
