forgotten, as some of the more ardent fans of Rawhide and the Boss chose this
weekend to meet up in Hollywood CA to celebrate his day and the 50 anniversary
year of the first airing on Rawhide on American TV. It was a grand experience:
We found Hollywood High School, which EF attended briefly, the address in the
Hollywood Hills where he lived during the RH years, a nearby park where he
played tennis, and because we love Rowdy too, we made pilgrimage to where CE
left his hand and foot prints (and the message "You made my day") in cement
outside of Grahman's Chinese Theater. We also saw the director's chair he used,
and a couple of costumes from the movie "FireFox" at Warner Brothers Studios,
and checked out a lot of Griffith Park, where we suspect many of the outside,
non-desert locations scenes of Rawhide were filmed.

I wish a Happy Birthday on this day. Wish you were still here with us. Diane
