After the BBC screened the Diana Rigg episode, A Touch of Brimstone,
last night, the announcer said that The New Avengers will be screened
in a few weeks time. The BBC last showed New Avengers in 1995 and that
was the first time it had received a truly full network screening in
the UK, nineteen years after it was made, which ITV never did given
that various ITV regions had different time slots.
I look forward to seeing the New Avengers after three complete runs of
the Diana Rigg series over the past several years. I wonder if they
will screen Linda Thorson and Honor Blackman series. (BBC4)
