I would think any Philly Avengers group would be TINY. There are fans
aplenty, but are avid fans like us.

Fewer still would be able make time in already crowded, hectic
schedules to physically meet with each other. As for myself, I have to
steal time from myself just to read the email from my Yahoo groups.

If you want to, form a Yahoo group called, Metro PA Avengers Fans (or
something along those lines). Make it announcement only at first,
perhaps. Give out any BBCA schedules when they're showing The Avengers
here. Later on, open the forum up to moderated participation. Gotta
keep out the spammers. See how many join up and then see how many
actually participate.

Don't get your hopes up too high. One of my long-term Avengers groups
just closed because the founder grew disillusioned at the the lack of
active participation.

I emailed, saying we chime in when we can, but life's busy these days.
She was not swayed and shut the group down. Pity, too. It was a nice
group.
