Actually, what killed the show was bad ratings and a pretty bad lead actor.
Had they better a better lead actor, the ratings would have perhaps been
better, and they would not have been cancelled. It is sad because the actor
got better as the show went on, and the supporting cast was pretty good
considering. And the writing was getting better. The show was definitely
getting better over all but the ratings never took off. I think had they
continued they would have had a problem with claustrophobia...I mean how
many things can happen in that one horse town they all lived near? Heh heh.
Lawsuits are dime a dozen for these shows. They rarely stop because of them.
