of these pancakes - wouldn't they all be piled up in a huge mass on
the ground and yet everything was blown into dust - when you look at
it from that aspect none of it makes any sense. Never before in the
annuls of history has a fire caused a steel structure building to
fall to the ground like these two did. Upon looking at the film in
super-slow motion and the way the buildings fell and comparing that
to the way that they do like a controlled demolition of a hotel in
Las Vegas, they both fell identical. I did watch the film of Building
7 going down and in my opinion there's no doubt that that building

Outsourced passport work scrutinized.

The inspector general of the Government Printing Office today said
his office is conducting an "end-to-end" review of the agency's
production of electronic passports.

GPO Inspector General J. Anthony Ogden said the review is part of the
office's work plan and will look at the outsourcing of some passport
components, such as computer chips embedded in travel documents.

The comments follow a report in today's editions of The Washington
Times quoting congressional and GPO officials who raised security
questions about the use of foreign contractors in the process.

"We do pay close attention to the issue of passport manufacturing. It
is a high priority of this office," Mr. Ogden said in an interview.

Mr. Ogden said his office's plan includes the review "to help improve
the process of manufacturing passports. That's no secret."

The Washington Times reported that the GPO had contracted with two
European companies to produce computer chips with a wire antenna
assembled at a plant in Thailand. The company in Thailand, Smartrac,
charged in a court filing in Netherlands last year that its
technology was stolen by China.

The outsourcing has raised concerns among investigators over the
security of passports. GPO and State Department officials have sought
to play down security concerns and have said they conduct regular
checks of overseas manufacturers.

Mr. Ogden said deficiencies in passport manufacturing detailed in an
Oct. 12 report cited by the paper were related to older, non-
electronic passports.

When the government's main printing agency booked $100 million in
unexpected profit it went on a spending spree: large bonuses to top
managers, trips to Paris and Las Vegas, and an official photo of the
boss that cost $10,000.

The bonuses, some nearly as high as $13,000, and travel are raising
questions among congressional investigators and Government Printing
Office officials about whether the agency is misusing its newfound
wealth and whether it received the proper authority for some of the
larger compensation payments from the Office of Budget and Management.

Additionally, investigators are looking into whether Public Printer
Robert C. Tapella paid close to $10,000 for photographs of himself
for his office and during his swearing-in ceremony in November.

The spending comes as GPO recorded record profits of about $100
million over the past 16 months by selling blank passports produced
by its printing and binding services to the State Department at more
than twice the cost. The investigation also has raised security
concerns about the use of overseas companies for components and
assembly of the computerized electronic passports.

GPO spokesman Gary Somerset said the process for "goal-based
performance" bonuses began five years ago and enables employees "to
earn bonuses based on performance of the agency as a whole" as well
as individual job performance.

The bonuses are part of a 2005 plan by GPO, which is a monopoly
printer for the U.S. government, to generate greater revenues under
the assumption that a private-sector business model is more
efficient, GPO documents show.

Mr. Somerset said all travel was authorized in line with government
regulations and funded through GPO's operating budget.

GORDA, Calif.- Gas prices in California are at an all-time high. The statewide average price for a gallon of regular is now 58 cents more per gallon, than the same time last year.

But, there is one place on the Central Coast where you can expect to pay more than $5 a gallon. The Americo gas station in the tiny coastal town of Gorda, about 40 miles south of Big Sur, is selling gasoline for $5.19 a gallon for regular, and $5.39 for premium.

Despite high prices, the local gas stop grabs customers, without any competition. And according to locals, the pain at the pump isn't over yet… as they plan to raise the prices another 20 cents in the coming weeks.


GORDA, Calif.- If you're going to be heading down the Big Sur Coastline anytime soon, you'll probably going to want to have a full tank before you leave with the price of crude oil skyrocketing. With gasoline following the same direction, the Americo gas station in Gorda, just south of Big Sur is selling premium unleaded gas for $5.39 a gallon. If you can do without premium regular's a relative bargain at $5.19.

Prices in many Bay Area cities remain above the statewide average with the price for a gallon of gas in Oakland at $3.51; San Francisco, $3.64; Salinas, $3.56; San Jose, $3.52; and Santa Cruz, $3.51. The average price for a gallon of gas in Santa Rosa sits just under the statewide average at $3.49 and in Vallejo a gallon is averaging $3.47, according to AAA.

BAY AREA, Calif.-The statewide average price for a gallon of gasoline has hit a all time high, AAA of Northern California announced Tuesday.

The average price throughout the state for one gallon of unleaded gas is $3.50, 1 cent more than the subsequent record for California, which was set in May of 2007.

"We're about 60 cents a gallon above where we were this time last year and last year was no bargain at the pump," said Sean Comey, AAA of Northern California spokesman, in a prepared statement.

"We may not have seen the worst of it yet," Comey said. "It's particularly troubling from the consumer's perspective that this is happening at this time of the year, when we often see prices that are relatively low."

OPEC will not put more oil on the global market, citing the stumbling U.S. economy as the reason for slackening demand in the near future.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries announced today that it decided not to pump more - or less - oil right now because crude supplies are plentiful and demand is expected to weaken in the second quarter.

New investigation is needed.

They can't explain NORAD changing their timeline a total of seven times, WTC7, not one word, Able Danger, and a host of other relevant facts.

WTC7 is proof the "official" story is wrong. Ever watched the video of it coming down? They didn't play it much on CNN or NBC. Ever wonder why? Because it's the smoking gun of the whole thing. [It's proof because it's an obvious controlled demolition, which we all know takes weeks of planning, hence, foreknowledge of the attack, which means, inside job, and somebody way up the chain of command, and not the president.]

An armed man who burst into a classroom at Elizabeth City State University was role-playing in an emergency response drill, but neither the students nor assistant professor Jingbin Wang knew that.

"I was prepared to die at that moment," Wang said Tuesday.

The Friday drill, in which a mock gunman threatened panicked students in the American foreign policy class with death, prompted university officials to apologize this week to Wang and offer counseling to faculty and students.

Anthony Brown, vice chancellor for student affairs, said the university was testing its response to shootings of the sort that have shaken campuses around the country. "The intent was not to frighten them but to test our system and also to test the response of the security that was on campus and the people that were notified," Brown said.

The drill was conducted just eight days after a gunman stormed a Northern Illinois University classroom, killing five people before he took his own life. Brown said students, staff and faculty were notified five days in advance that a drill would take place. The word went out via e-mail and text messages. Not everyone got the word.

At 1:31 p.m. Friday, e-mail and text messages kicked off the drill with the announcement: "This is a test. ECSU is holding a test drill where an armed intruder will enter a room in Moore Hall and be detained by campus police."

The mock intruder, a campus police officer, carried a red plastic model gun, according to a university news release.

Wang, who teaches history and political science, said Tuesday in a telephone interview he was having a discussion in his foreign policy class when the man came to the door and said he wanted to talk with him.

"Suddenly the man pointed the gun at me," he said.

Wang said he did not know whether the gun was real. "I saw the gun but didn't have too much time to think about that," he said. "The man was serious."

Up against the wall

The intruder instructed Wang to close the door and then ordered the seven students to line up along the wall. Wang said the man told them that he had been kicked out of school and that he needed a lung transplant.

At one point, Wang said, the man threatened to kill the student who had the lowest grade point average. Wang offered to let him sit in his class, he said, but the man rejected attempts at negotiation.

Wang said some students thought the gun was fake, but they were not sure. "I was the guy who was feeling the gun on my back," he said.

After about 10 minutes, the class heard people talking outside the door, and campus police rushed in and subdued the man. "Even after this was over, nobody explained it," Wang said.

He said colleagues told him that students in another classroom blocked a door with a table and chair -- just as students did in Norris Hall at Virginia Tech in April, when 32 students were killed by student gunman Seung-Hui Cho.

During ECSU's drill, some students sent text messages to their parents, Wang said. Another staffer told Wang that students said they were prepared to jump out of a window.

The Virginia Tech shooting has led universities across the United States to re-evaluate safety and implement new procedures for identifying troubled students and notifying people in the event of an emergency. Many campuses have conducted safety drills. In January, UNC-Greensboro held an active shooter exercise that was attended by law enforcement and university officials from around the state. But that drill was planned for winter break, when students were not on campus.

'Factor in the safety'

Will Morehead of EnviroSafe Inc., a private company in Mebane that specializes in planning and evaluating emergency response, said he could not speak in detail about the ECSU drill without knowing details of how it was carried out. But he said there should be safeguards in place to protect participants.

"The realism needs to be there, but you need to factor in the safety," he said.

John Pierce of Bristol, Va., a spokesman for a pro-gun Internet group called OpenCarry.org, said the university's drill was poorly planned and dangerous. He said people in the class could have been killed or injured trying to escape or could have harmed the role player.

He called for the state to make it legal for individuals to carry firearms for self-defense. He said North Carolina is one of 16 states that make it a crime for people to carry firearms on campuses.

University Chancellor Willie J. Gilchrist said in a prepared statement that the drill was a learning experience. He said the university needed to increase the usual scope of scenarios, which generally involve hurricanes, tropical storms and evacuations.

"Unfortunately we learned lessons from frightened students that result when live scenarios are carried out," he said in a news release. "However, we want our campus to be ready in case of such an event."

"The Bath School disaster is the name given to three bombings in Bath Township, Michigan, USA, on May 18, 1927, which killed 45 people and injured 58. Most of the victims were children in second to sixth grades attending the Bath Consolidated School. Their deaths constitute the deadliest act of mass murder in a school in U.S. history. The perpetrator was school board member Andrew Kehoe, who was upset by a property tax that had been levied to fund the construction of the school building. Comcast Defends Illegal Internet Practices.

NEW YORK -- Comcast Corp. told the Federal Communications Commission in formal comments Tuesday that hampering some file-sharing by its subscribers was a justifiable way to keep Web traffic flowing for everyone.

The comments are the fullest accounting yet of how Comcast manages its network.

Comcast's network management is the subject of formal complaints to the FCC from consumer groups and law professors.

The groups say Comcast has breached the principle, known as "'Net Neutrality," of treating all Internet traffic equally. They also say the company was hampering movie downloading services because they might compete with Comcast's cable TV business.

Comcast says it must curb some file-sharing traffic because some subscribers would otherwise hog the cables with their uploads and slow traffic in their neighborhood.

The company _ the country's second-largest Internet service provider _ also said it was justified in using "reset" packets to break off communications between two computers.

Comcast sometimes inserts these packets in the data stream to kill a file-sharing session. The move "fools" each computer into believing the other computer wants to end the connection.

The return addresses of Comcast's packets indicate they're from one of the file-sharing computers when they are in fact from Comcast.

An Associated Press story in October that brought attention to Comcast's practices likened its use of reset packets to an operator breaking into a telephone conversation and telling each participant in the voice of the other: "Sorry, I have to hang up. Good bye."

In its comments Tuesday, Comcast called that analogy "inflammatory hyberbole" and cites ZDNet.com blogger George Ou, who wrote that the reset packet method is a common way to stifle traffic where alternatives don't exist.

It said the messages are like a busy signal for a fax machine.

In their complaint with the FCC, advocacy groups Free Press and Public Knowledge said Comcast was "forging" the return addresses of the reset packets.

File-sharing programs generally try to re-establish a connection after receiving a reset packet, and Comcast may let subsequent attempts through. More likely, though, the computer that is requesting a file goes elsewhere on the Internet to find it.

Before the AP story ran, Comcast would acknowledge only that it was managing traffic and gave no details, even to its subscribers.

On Jan. 25, it updated its online Acceptable Use Policy to specify that it reserved the right to break off file-sharing connections on congested cables.

The FCC's reaction to subscriber complaints will be an important test of how far the agency will let Web providers go to manage their traffic. Even Comcast's detractors generally agree proper traffic management can improve the Internet experience for everyone.

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin is supportive of network management, but has said providers like Comcast should be open about their practices.

He said that every payday he was required to pay 1/3rd of his paycheck to his boss, cash only, for 25 years. He was also required to campaign for his boss, and to buy at least 10 tickets to the GOP campaign party. He said this is the standard in Knox County govt. He was disgruntled after being fired by his supervisor who refused to work. Sound familiar?

Have you ever wondered how that "poor" boy from Arkansas got to be a multi-term Governor of the State of Arkansas and a two-term President of the United States of America. The Governor of a state that was essentially owned by the former Republican Governor of Arkansas Winthrop Rockefeller. How did Clinton afford Georgetown, Oxford & Yale University Law School, and then jump into politics; it costs a lot of money to run for public office, even back then?

There has long been speculation about the real identity of the actual biological father of the former United States President William Jefferson Clinton. According to Bill Clinton's White House biography his real father was Bill Blythe III, who had been killed in an automobile accident before the President was even born; however many in Arkansas claim that Blythe had only been back in the United States for six months prior to Clinton's birth.

William Jefferson Clinton ran for the United States House of Representatives (not the Arkansas State house) less than six month after getting his law degree from Yale Law School. He served as Jimmy Carter's Arkansas state campaign manager, while also teaching at the University of Arkansas School of Law, and also manages to get himself elected as the Arkansas State attorney general in 1976, and elected as the governor of the state of Arkansas in 1978 (having only been in public services for less than two (2) years).

This means that Bill Clinton began campaigning for the Arkansas U.S. congressional seat while he was still in law school at Yale University. The he ran a statewide campaign for state attorney general, while running another statewide presidential campaign for Jimmy Carter and taught law school when??...all at the same time. Then with less than a year experience as the state's top judicial officer, he begins campaigning as the state's governor and actually wins...just five years out of law school and then the youngest state governor in the United States of America.

WINTHROP ROCKEFELLER

Winthrop Rockefeller was son of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. and Abby Greene Aldrich, and the grandson of John Davison Rockefeller, Sr. who founded the Standard Oil Company. His brothers were John D. III, David, Nelson and Laurence Rockefeller. Winthrop Rockefeller also went to Yale University, 1931-1934.

He marries Barbara "Bobo" Sears in 1948, the beautiful daughter of an impoverished farmer; who the press had a field day with, often referring to her as "Cinderella." Winthrop enters into his self-admitted playboy period, then he as Barbara move from New York City to central Arkansas in 1953; with Win establishing Winrock Enterprises and Winrock Cattle Farms atop the Petit Jean Mountain. Winthrop quickly finds himself in a stormy and very well publicized divorce battle, and was ordered to pay her $5,500,000 in 1954. He was remarried two years later, in 1956, to Jeanette Edris a hotel and theater heiress.

In 1966, despite the fact that there are less than 20% of registered Republicans in the State of Arkansas, Winthrop Rockefeller is elected Governor of the state of Arkansas and has some notable achievements. Horrified by conditions in the Arkansas prison system, he completely overhauls it by establishing the new Arkansas Department of Corrections. He worked to improve the state's dismal educational performance, by securing funding for new school construction and increased teacher salaries. He also built strong bridges with the states black communities, demanding an integrated draft board for the first time.

In 1968, he was the only Southern state governor to publicly mourn the assignation of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; stating to the television media from the steps of the Arkansas State capital, "I am not my brother's keeper. I am my brother's brother." Rockefeller decisions as Governor provided the state's traditional old guard enough reason to back a young and energetic Dale Bumpers democratic candidate, who defeated him in November 1970.

Still troubled by the state's prison system, as his last act as the state's Governor, Rockefeller commuted the sentences of every current prisoner on the Arkansas' Death Row life without the possibility of parole, urging the other state governors to do the same, saying "I yearn to see other chief executives throughout the nation follow suit, so that as a people we may hasten the elimination of barbarism as a tool of American justice."

In September 1972 Rockefeller was diagnosed with rare kind of inoperable cancer, and he goes through a devastating round of chemotherapy. When he returned to the state of Arkansas, the citizens shocked at the frail and haggard appearance... of what had been a giant of a man. Winthrop Rockefeller died in Palm Springs, California.

Jeanette Rockefeller, his second wife, died on December 8, 1998 at age 79 in Palm Springs, California; where she had volunteered relentlessly for the Palm Springs AIDS Assistance Fund. A non-profit organization that distributes food vouchers for persons currently living with HIV/AIDS in the Coachella Valley region. "She helped lead women into the mainstream of political and public life," according to former President Bill Clinton. "As a tireless campaigner, Mrs. Rockefeller was a strong force against discrimination, with an uncanny ability to relate to the common man and woman," Clinton said in a statement.

Winthrop P. Rockefeller, Jr. has been the Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas since 1996, and he formally announced that he will be running for Governor of Arkansas.

President Clinton has made the battle against HIV/AIDS, a focal point of the work of the Clinton Foundation, just as Mrs. Rockefeller had dedicated her final years. President Clinton says he believes deeply that until we combat the pandemic in the developing world, where more than 90 percent of the 40 million people worldwide who have HIV/AIDS live, it will be impossible for these countries to achieve their social and economic development goals.

However, Bill Clinton having been number US President number 42, did not even know who his father was, until the record showed up several decades later? This has been confirmed by a genealogical organization known as Burke's Pearage, and Gary Boyd from the New England Historical Society, William Jefferson Clinton is the one that who somehow does not fit.

You see Bill Clinton was born to Virginia Dellcassidy and William Jefferson Blythe III. At some time in the 1940's Bill Clinton's mother had either divorced William Jefferson Blythe III or he passed on. So in 1946, when she married Roger Clinton, they changed his name to Clinton from Blythe.

BILL CLINTON AND THE ROCKEFELLERS

There are big, dirty secrets that may explain the rise to power of those otherwise obscure. A case in point is William Jefferson Clinton. Some background:

Seldom mentioned, although known: the Rockefellers own and operate Arkansas, a very poor, backward state that is quite sizeable with a comparatively small population. Several terms before Bill Clinton held that position, Winthrop Rockefeller was Arkansas Governor; Winthrop being the grandson of John Davison Rockefeller, founder of what some call the evil empire of Standard Oil.

By U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 1910, based on Rockefeller's corrupt and violent monopoly practices, the Standard Oil Trust was broken into various parts. Although the names of the resulting parts have been changed around to confuse naive people, the Rockefellers still control them all, such as Standard Oil of New Jersey, now called Exxon; Standard Oil of Indiana, now called Amoco, and Standard Oil of Ohio, now merged with interests of the British royal family and called British Petroleum; and so on.

The person now known as Bill Clinton: his maternal grandmother, believed to be quite a beauty, and reportedly having some link to British royalty, had a great love affair with Winthrop Rockefeller. Hence, Bill Clinton is apparently the illegitimate great grandson of old John D. Rockefeller. Another great grandson is John D. Rockefeller IV, called Jay, to be cute. Is Jay a secret power co-conspirator with Bill Clinton or a rival for occupying the White House?

Up to now, Bill Clinton's background, as portrayed by the Rockefeller-controlled monopoly press, is apparently just another fairy tale of a kid from a nothing place, Hope, Arkansas, somehow rising to high position by great effort and merit. A recent book points out that Bill Clinton was moreso linked with Hot Springs, Arkansas, and was dominated by his uncle Raymond Clinton. The uncle was a wealthy and influential so-called "auto dealer" (some contend that sometimes is the title or role of the local or regional bagman) with ties to the Ku Klux Klan and organized crime. Along with other figures from the vice-ridden, mob-controlled Hot Springs of the 1940s and 1950s, Uncle Raymond financed Bill Clinton's first campaigns. Other reputed patrons of Bill Clinton reportedly include the Jacobs family of Buffalo, New York (who also reportedly contributed to the rise to high position in sports of O.J. Simpson). They control concessions at sports stadia around the nation, through their operations, once called Emprise, and later, Sportsystems, Inc. Some contended the international sports concession firm had underworld ties.

The Jacobs family runs dog racing, popular in Arkansas. They also have owned Marine Midland Bank, originally headquartered in Buffalo, and now have units nation-wide, and around the world by having merged with Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. The Hong Kong Bank financed the opium trade going back to the 19th Century Opium Wars, the British method of subjugating China. That Bank has been owned and operated by British royalty and is interlinked with British shipping firms in the Pacific rim. Also, some in law enforcement have accused the Marine Midland Bank of being reportedly a dope money laundry.

Clinton, as Governor, played a role with the aluminum cartel, since Arkansas at the time he was Governor produced about 90 percent of the nation's supply of bauxite for aluminum. (The cartel run by the ultra-rich Mellon family of Pittsburgh.)

And Rose Law Firm partners Hillary Rodham Clinton and Vincent W. Foster, Jr. reportedly arranged the efforts of a twin-bank empire to spread out in the United States, as reputed money laundries: Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) and Banca Nazionale Delavoro (BNL), Italy's largest bank owned in part by the Vatican.

BNL-Atlanta disguised some 5 billion dollars of weapons shipments to Iraq from U.S. firms, disguised as Agriculture Department credits -- weapons shipments primarily from Arkansas-based firms linked to George Bush and in some way with the Rockefellers, and on which Hillary was a board director or her role disguised as their "lawyer".

One only becomes Arkansas Governor with the blessings and approval of the Rockefellers. Because of secretly being part of the Rockefeller family, Bill Clinton considers himself to be a Teflon Man; no scandal can stick to him.

In the statement, Ellsberg tells of a conversation he had with ,y~on

FBI in 19 when Dr. King was shot to death m Memphis.

Ellsberg's statement says that Tyson told him it is believed that the
group had a "sharp-shooter who actually did the shooting. To hear
this presentation, as an absolute fact from someone in the U.S.
government was startling.

Lane also had a statement he said was made by Rev. James Lawson, a
Los Angeles minister who married James Earl Ray and Knoxville free-
lance artist Anna Sandhu last month. Ray is serving a 99year prison
sentence for the slaying of Dr. King. However, the statement was 'not
signed by Rev. Lawson. Lane said Lawson is sending him a similar,
notorized statement.

The affidavit from Ellsberg said that Tyson claimed to have knowledge
of the King murder through conversations with Rep. Walter
Fauntroy, 'chairman of the House Assassination~ Committee. He said
told him investigators believe they the names.

Ellesberg was reported to be in Colorado Saturday night and could not
be for comment. Ellesberg said he assumed the information would come
out at U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations hearings on Dr.
King's shooting, and that when it didn't he approached Lane.

In another development Saturday night, Michael Eberhardt, the house
committee's assistant chief deputy counsel, resigned to show his
dissatisfaction with the panel'a decision not to recall Ray.

Lane also said he will have additional affidavits soon, including one
in which Rep. Fauntroy contends he was approached by CIA agents, who
told him they would help provide him information about the FBI
involvement in the King death if Rep. Fauntroy would promise not to
delve into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Tyson, reached at his New York City residence, said, "I will deny
under oath that I said I knew who did It."

He said he was speculatingwtth Ellsberg on who might have killed King
and expressed his personal theory that the FBI conducted the
assassination.

He said he has had a "couple of conversations with Walter (Fauntroy)"
about the House assassination investigation. However, he said nothing
specific was discussed.

He said he has heard that Fauntray's life has been threatened, but
did not gain the information from Fauntroy. He said that he and
others believe that the possible FBI involvement in King's death
needs further investigation.

In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted
plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S.
cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.

Code named Operation NORTHWOODS, the plans reportedly included the
possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban
refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship,
and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The plans
were developed as ways to trick the American public and the
international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba's then new
leader, communist Fidel Castro.

America's top military brass even contemplated causing U.S. military
casualties, writing: "We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay
and blame Cuba," and, "casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause
a helpful wave of national indignation."

Details of the plans are described in Body of Secrets (Doubleday), a
new book by investigative reporter James Bamford about the history of
America's largest spy agency, the National Security Agency. However,
the plans were not connected to the agency, he notes.

The plans had the written approval of all of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff and were presented to President Kennedy's defense secretary,
Robert McNamara, in March 1962. But they apparently were rejected by
the civilian leadership and have gone undisclosed for nearly 40 years.

"These were Joint Chiefs of Staff documents. The reason these were
held secret for so long is the Joint Chiefs never wanted to give
these up because they were so embarrassing," James Bamford told
ABCNEWS.com.

"The whole point of a democracy is to have leaders responding to the
public will, and here this is the complete reverse, the military
trying to trick the American people into a war that they want but
that nobody else wants."

Gunning for War

The documents show "the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved
plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S.
government," writes Bamford.

The Joint Chiefs even proposed using the potential death of astronaut
John Glenn during the first attempt to put an American into orbit as
a false pretext for war with Cuba, the documents show.

Should the rocket explode and kill Glenn, they wrote, "the objective
is to provide irrevocable proof … that the fault lies with the
Communists et all Cuba [sic]."

The plans were motivated by an intense desire among senior military
leaders to depose Castro, who seized power in 1959 to become the
first communist leader in the Western Hemisphere — only 90 miles from
U.S. shores.

The earlier CIA-backed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba by Cuban exiles
had been a disastrous failure, in which the military was not allowed
to provide firepower. The military leaders now wanted a shot at it.

"The whole thing was so bizarre," says Bamford, noting public and
international support would be needed for an invasion, but apparently
neither the American public, nor the Cuban public, wanted to see U.S.
troops deployed to drive out Castro.

Reflecting this, the U.S. plan called for establishing prolonged
military — not democratic — control over the island nation after the
invasion.

"That's what we're supposed to be freeing them from," Bamford
says. "The only way we would have succeeded is by doing exactly what
the Russians were doing all over the world, by imposing a government
by tyranny, basically what we were accusing Castro himself of doing."

'Over the Edge'

The Joint Chiefs at the time were headed by Eisenhower appointee Army
Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer, who, with the signed plans in hand made a
pitch to McNamara on March 13, 1962, recommending Operation
Northwoods be run by the military.

Whether the Joint Chiefs' plans were rejected by McNamara in the
meeting is not clear. But three days later, President Kennedy told
Lemnitzer directly there was virtually no possibility of ever using
overt force to take Cuba, Bamford reports. Within months, Lemnitzer
would be denied another term as chairman and transferred to another
job.

The secret plans came at a time when there was distrust in the
military leadership about their civilian leadership, with leaders in
the Kennedy administration viewed as too liberal, insufficiently
experienced and soft on communism. At the same time, however, there
real were concerns in American society about their military
overstepping its bounds.

There were reports U.S. military leaders had encouraged their
subordinates to vote conservative during the election.

And at least two popular books were published focusing on a right-
wing military leadership pushing the limits against government policy
of the day. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee published its own
report on right-wing extremism in the military, warning
a "considerable danger" in the "education and propaganda activities
of military personnel" had been uncovered. The committee even called
for an examination of any ties between Lemnitzer and right-wing
groups. But Congress didn't get wind of Northwoods, says Bamford.

"Although no one in Congress could have known at the time," he
writes, "Lemnitzer and the Joint Chiefs had quietly slipped over the
edge."

Even after Lemnitzer was gone, he writes, the Joint Chiefs continued
to plan "pretext" operations at least through 1963.

One idea was to create a war between Cuba and another Latin American
country so that the United States could intervene. Another was to pay
someone in the Castro government to attack U.S. forces at the
Guantanamo naval base — an act, which Bamford notes, would have
amounted to treason. And another was to fly low level U-2 flights
over Cuba, with the intention of having one shot down as a pretext
for a war.

"There really was a worry at the time about the military going off
crazy and they did, but they never succeeded, but it wasn't for lack
of trying," he says.

After 40 Years

Ironically, the documents came to light, says Bamford, in part
because of the 1992 Oliver Stone film JFK, which examined the
possibility of a conspiracy behind the assassination of President
Kennedy.

As public interest in the assassination swelled after JFK's release,
Congress passed a law designed to increase the public's access to
government records related to the assassination.

The author says a friend on the board tipped him off to the documents.

Afraid of a congressional investigation, Lemnitzer had ordered all
Joint Chiefs documents related to the Bay of Pigs destroyed, says
Bamford. But somehow, these remained.

"The scary thing is none of this stuff comes out until 40 years
after," says Bamford.

Such a plan would enable a logical buildup of incidents to be

States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances.

A series of well-coordinated incidents will be planned to take place
to give genuine appearance of being done by hostile Cuban forces.

Incidents to establish a credible attack:

Start rumors (many). Use clandestine radio.

Land friendly Cubans in uniform "over-the-fence" to stage attack on
the base.

Capture Cuban (friendly) sabateurs inside the base.

Start riots near the entrance to the base (friendly Cubans).

Blow up ammunition inside the base; start fires.

Burn aircraft on airbase (sabatage).

Lob morter shells from outsidethe base to inside the base. Some
damage to installation.

Capture assault teams.

Capture militia group which storms the base.

3. A "Remember the Maine" incident could be arranged in several
forms:

a. We could blow up a US ship and blame Cuba.

b. We could blow up a drone (unmannded) vessel anywhere in the Cuban
waters. The presense of Cuban planes or ships merely investigating
the intent of the vessel could be fairly compelling evidence that the
ship was taken under attack. The US could follow with an air/sea
rescue operation covered by US fighters to "evacuate" remaining
members of the non-existant crew. Casualty lists in US newspapers
would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.

c. We could develop a Communist Cuba terror campaign in the Miami
area, in other Flordia cities and even in Washington. The terror
campaign could be pointed at Cuban refugees seeking haven in the
United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute to Florida
(real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cubans in
the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be
widely publicized. Exploding a few bombs in carefully chosen spots.
The arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents
substantiating cuban involvement.

5. A "Cuban-based, Castro-supported" filibuster could be simulated
against a neighboring Caribbean nation. These efforts can be
magnified with additional ones contrived for exposure. "Cuban" B-26
or C-46 type aircraft could make cane-burning raids at night. Soviet
Bloc incidiaries could be found. This could be coupled with "Cuban"
messages to the Communist underground and "Cuban" shipments of arms
which would be found, or intercepted, on the beach.

6. Use of MIG-type aircraft by US pilots could provide additional
provocation. Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping,
and destruction of US military drone aircraft by MIG type palnes
would be useful. An F-86 properly painted would convince air
passengers that they saw a Cuban MIG, especially if the pilot of the
transport were to announce that fact.

7. Hijacking attampts against US civil air and surface craft should
be encouraged.

8. It is possible to create an incident which would demonstrate
convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a
chartered civilian airliner from the United States.

a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact
duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA
proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the
duplicate would be subsituted for the actual civil aircraft and the
passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual
registered aircraft would be converted to a drone.

b. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will
be scheduled to allow a rondevous. From the rondevous point the
passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go
directly to an auxiliary airfield at Eglin AFB where arrangements
will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the
aircraft to its original status. Meanwhile the drone aircraft will
continue to fly the filed flight plan. The drone will be transmitting
on the international distress frequency "MAY DAY" message stating it
is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission will be
interrupted by the destruction of aircraft which will be triggered by
radio signal. This will allow IACO radio stations to tell the US what
has happened to the aircraft instead of the US trying to "sell" the
incident.

9. It is possible to create an incident that will make it appear that
Communist Cuban MIGs have destroyed a USAF aircraft over
international waters in an unprovoked attack.

b. On one such flight, a pre-briefed pilot would fly Tail-end
Charlie. While near the Cuban island this pilot would broadcast that
he had been jumped by MIGs and was going down. This pilot would then
fly at extremely low altitude and land at a secure base, an Eglin
auxiliary. The aircraft would be met by the proper people, quickly
stored and given a new tail number. The pilot who performed the
mission under an alias would resume his proper identity. The pilot
and aircraft would then have disappeared.

c. A submarine or small craft would distribute F-101 parts,
parachute, etc. The pilots retuning to Homestead would have a true
story as far as they knew. Search ships and aircraft could be
dispatched and parts of aircraft found.

3. It is understood that the Department of State is also preparing
suggested courses of action to develope justification for US military
intervention in Cuba.

Nations was indicted Wednesday as part of a terrorist fundraising
ring that allegedly sent more than $130,000 to an al Qaeda and
Taliban supporter who has threatened U.S. and international troops in
Afghanistan.

The former Republican congressman from Michigan, Mark Deli Siljander,
was charged with money laundering, conspiracy and obstructing justice
for allegedly lying about lobbying senators on behalf of an Islamic
charity that authorities said was secretly sending funds to
terrorists.

A 42-count indictment, unsealed in U.S. District Court in Kansas
City, Missouri, accuses the Islamic American Relief Agency of paying
Siljander $50,000 for the lobbying -- money that turned out to be
stolen from the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Siljander, who served two terms in the U.S. House of Representatives,
was appointed by President Reagan to serve as a U.S. delegate to the
United Nations for one year in 1987.

SEVIERVILLE, TENNESSEE - "We want to use the paper ballot," Brad Lowe , candidate for Sevier County Sheriff said.

Lowe wants to make sure every vote counts, and on Friday, he argued in court that Sevier County's voting machines can't guarantee that.

He asked the court to require Sevier County to use paper ballots, not machines, because he said the machines are unreliable, and the election commission won't be able to conduct a recount.

A report prepared by the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR) did find Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting machines "especially vulnerable to tampering and fraud, mainly because most do not physically document individual votes so that they can be independently recounted or audited."

That news comes less than two years after all but two counties in the state switched to similar machines.

"There's no proof of any this," Dennis Francis, attorney for the Sevier County Election Commission said. "There's nothing you can point to, to show these machines have malfunctioned, that they don't accurately reflect the people's vote."

Francis said that while the report raises concerns about the machines, it doesn't ban their use.

He convinced the chancellor to allow the election to continue with the electronic voting machines, instead of the more costly paper ballots.

Lowe disagreed that cost should even play a role in the decision, although he said that was an argument used in court.

"I have a problem with a state employee getting up and saying that this election might cost $50,000 to $75,000 more. So what?" Lowe said. "There's more fraud, waste, and abuse that goes unchecked in Sevier County that's known about, and we could easily pay for that."

State lawmakers are working on a bill that may require a printed paper trail in the future.

But some wonder whether that also jeopardizes democracy.

"Do you want me in a political system to be able to go back and tell how you voted? Is that what you want?" Francis asked.

State lawmakers say the change would cost counties millions. They're waiting for new federal election mandates that may include funding.

"Voting data from 2,625 early voters in the Downtown West precinct is stuck in a machine, Election Chair Greg Mackay said. Technical support from West Intercivic, the machine maker, arrived in Knoxville Wednesday to try and retrieve the data. The tools needed to do that can not be moved the Election Commission. As a result, the faulty machine will head to a laboratory Thursday. "A pension proposal for 700 members of the Knox County Sheriff's Department could cost taxpayers $50 million dollars in the first year of implementation, according to members of the Knox County Pension Board. The Fraternal Order of Police has been working on the proposal for more than a year. It would allow 700 members of the Knox County Sheriff's Department to convert their savings plans from a 401K style program to a pension of 'defined monthly benefits' that deputies would receive upon retirement. Deputies would average out their highest two salaried years. Those over 50 with 25 years under their belt would get 62.5% of that average figure as a pension. With 30 years of experience, the number would be 75% of that averaged salary. The plan is similar to what K.P.D. officers already have. The pension board said there are two ways to pay for the added costs: A property tax increase of $.75 per $100 of assessed property value. That is an increase of 30% Or, a wheel tax increase of $162 dollars, an increase of 550%. Guthe also worries other county workers will want a similar pension plan if the deputy proposal passes ($4.40 per $100 assessed property tax, or $972 WHEEL TAX INCREASE). He said if every county worker went on the F.O.P. pension proposal, the start up costs would top $300 million. "If voters approve a new pension plan for county deputies Nov. 7, its formula would give Knox County Sheriff Tim Hutchison at least $81,500 a year for the rest of his life. To fully fund the pension by its effective date of July 1, 2007, the new plan would cost an estimated $57 million to cover the past service of all 772 officers who would qualify for the pension, Ragsdale's administration has stated. Commissioners wanted voters to understand that the 8 cents could mean an 8-cent hike in the county property tax rate, cuts to other county departments or a combination of the two. Fifty states face voting machine lawsuits; "Uncounted" documents DRE issues

Business as usual will not be the norm over the next 48 hours as Secretaries of State in all fifty states will each receive subpoenas in the National Clean Election lawsuit, according to an announcement made Monday night by activist Bernie Ellis at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville. There is still time, Ellis said, to require a paper trail for the 2008 election.

The announcement was made in a panel discussion following the sold out Nashville premiere of the David Earnhardt film, Uncounted - The Movie, which ended with a standing ovation for its writer/director. The documentary film addressed the issue of voting machine error/failure, the need for a paper trail of votes, the political and business ties between government officials and manufacturers of these DRE (Direct Recording Electronic) voting machines, and the ease of tampering with such machines and "flipping" votes that are electronically counted.

The film also reviewed extensive cases of mechanical errors, lost votes, voters turned away from polls, incomplete ballots and the installation of uncertified software into voting machine reported from across the nation.

"The lawsuit aims to establish that all computer systems (or other systems) which hide the ballots from the people for even a short period of time before the count is accomplished and the results are posted – are unconstitutional…

"The lawsuit argues persuasively … that the use of computer and machine election systems violate each  citizen's right to vote, as defined at least twice by the Supreme Court of the United States. "

The lawsuit is aimed at prohibiting the use of all types of vote counting machines, and requiring hand-counting of all primary and general election ballots in full view of the public. The lawsuit has raised significant constitutional questions challenging the generally accepted practices of state election officials of relying on "black box" voting machines to record and count the votes at each polling station, and allow tallying of votes by election officials outside the view of the general public. In many cases, states have officially authorized voting "systems" that leave virtually no paper trail from which to audit the vote. [We The People Foundation].

Ellis said that regardless of what voters are being told, there is still time to pass legislation that would mandate voter verifiable paper ballots in 2008. The Tennessee Voter Confidence Act of 2007 [Senate Bill 1363/House Bill 1256], sponsored by Senator Joe Haynes and Rep. Gary Moore, mandates a paper trail.

"Today in Tennessee, 93 of our 95 counties use nonverifiable, paperless touch-screen voting machines . In 2006, over one in every six Tennessee counties reported problems with this equipment. Our state is not alone, but (sadly) it is now one of the worst states for voting security and accountability in this nation." — Bernie Ellis

What began as lawsuits in ten keys states including Iowa, Ohio, New York and Florida has burgeoned into a nationwide effort. Earnhardt's film, which was ignored by corporate media during this world premiere, exposes the vulnerability in current technology of voting machines, or at least, the lack of oversight in acquiring and using them without hacking, flipping or under/overcounting votes, and other problems. Earnhardt asked why, when it is so easy to get a printed receipt from anything from an ATM machine to the drive-through register at a Krispy Kreme, it should be so difficult to get a verifiable voting machine receipt.

The lawsuit seeks an Order from the Court prohibiting the use of all voting machines and to force election officials to instead utilize paper ballots and to count and total all votes by hand, always in full view of the public. Plaintiffs from all fifty states have signed on to the lawsuit.

In the question and answer period following the screening, an Iraq veteran said he had pledged to protect his country "from all enemies foreign and domestic" and viewed the issues of voting machines as a domestic threat to voters across the country.

Election Officials in Tarrant claim they didn't look into the problems on Election Night as the problem emerged because, as reported by the Star-Telegram last week, "they were dealing with a new system, new procedures and some new equipment."

The BRAD BLOG can now report, however, that according to a Hart InterCivic company whistleblower -- who also happened to have later worked as an "election programmer" in Tarrant County -- the problems with Hart InterCivic's systems in Tarrant County, Texas and elsewhere are not new at all. Not by a longhorn long shot.

Letters sent by William Singer of Fort Worth, a former Hart InterCivic "technical specialist" and Tarrant County election worker, to state officials back in July of 2004 warned of exactly such problems. The letters, obtained and published here for the first time exclusively by The BRAD BLOG, reveal that serious problems and concerns of possible election system meltdowns were already apparent with the Hart machines in Tarrant County long ago. However, the warning letters were all but ignored by both election officials and even state law enforcement officials.

The "glitch" in last Tuesday's primary, as reported the Star-Telegram, "caused Tarrant County to report as many as 100,000 votes in both primaries that never were cast." After the problem was discovered, they report, "the local turnout [dropped] from a possible record high of about 158,103 voters to about 58,000."

A review of several notarized letters sent by Singer to officials in both Texas and Ohio in 2004 warned of fraudulent activities, buggy software and hardware, dysfunctional testing and development procedures, unsecured working environments and possible criminal behavior by both Hart InterCivic and Election Workers in both states.

U.S. Senate candidate James Webb's last name has been cut off on part of the electronic ballot used by voters in Alexandria, Falls Church and Charlottesville because of a computer glitch that also affects other candidates with long names, city officials said yesterday.

Jean Jensen, secretary of the Virginia State Board of Elections, who said yesterday she only recently became aware of the problem, pledged to have it fixed by the 2007 statewide elections.

"You better believe it," Jensen said. "If I have to personally get on a plane and bring Hart InterCivic people here myself, it'll be corrected."

Absentee voters casting ballots in advance of the Nov. 7 election first noticed the problem. Election officials have been forced to post signs in voting booths and instruct poll workers to explain why some longer names appear cut-off.

Election officials in Alexandria said they have been vexed by the problem since they purchased the voting machines in 2003.

This is not the kind of problem that has either shaken our confidence in the system overall or that of the vote," said Alexandria Registrar Tom Parkins. "There have been far worse problems around the country."

James T. "Jim" Hurysz, an independent candidate who's running to unseat incumbent Rep. James P. Moran Jr. (D-Va.), sees it somewhat differently. His name has been shortened on the summary page to "James T. 'Jim.' "

Moran is the one lucky James in Alexandria whose last name made the summary page, although without the "Jr."

"That situation is not acceptable," Hurysz said. "There's enough voter confusion as it is."

Another electronic voting company insider has blown the whistle on "irregularities" at Hart-Intercivic and ES&S forthe Secretaries of State of Ohio and Texas. These letters detail a "long history of concealing problems" and a willingness to ignore potentially serious problems "largely for the sake of corporate profit".

I have come into possession of a pair of letters written by a former Hart-Intercivic technician to the Secretaries

When I read these letters, I contacted the writer to verify his story and authorship. The technician verified that he was the author and that the letters had been sent, but did not wish to have his name revealed as he had sent the letters privately to the two state Secretaries. He did not object to the details of the letters being revealed as he was concerned about whether the matter had been or would be addressed.

These letters were written the end of July and I held off until now in order to give the relevant states the opportunity to do the right thing and investigate these charges.

The writer has never been contacted and I must assume that election officials in Texas and Ohio just don't care.

The tech worked for H-I for over two years and left voluntarily because of what he believed to be "criminal fraud, extreme negligence, and a distinct and troubling pattern of failure to uphold the public trust both in violations of the spirit of its contracts [and] also in concealing problems in an industry which so crucially represents the public interest."

The technician addressed problems in Ohio, which he saw while working for H-I, and problems in Tarrant County, Texas, which is where he went to work after leaving H-I.

In Ohio, he is concerned with three main problems:

Fraudulent Acts

* The computer submitted for security testing in Ohio was not the same as the computers being actually used in the field. EVM vendors are supposed to provide "production models" of their units so that they can be evaluated by both InfoSentry and Compuware (the vendors hired by the state to evaluate the voting machines).

Fraudulent Claims

* H-I's eSlate is billed as storing vote data randomly, so as to prevent specific votes from being traced to specific people. The tech says that this is not true and that simple remedial measures which could have addressed this flaw never made.

* H-I claimed to InfoSentry that it had an "ongoing information security awareness program" which it did not.

* H-I claimed to InfoSentry that it maintained numerous documents on information security systems policy for its employees. Our tech was never able to read any of these documents or even find proof of their existance.

* H-I told the Ohio SoS that election results are not transmitted over public networks, which is not true as unofficial results were transmitted this way. A computer hooked to a public network (like the Internet) is a system vulnerable to outside attack.

Misleading Conduct

* Compuware claimed that safeguards were in place to prevent H-I computers from crashing. One would assume that such a claim was based upon information supplied by H-I. Our source says that systems crashed still occurred and that the causes were seldom revealed to the customers.

* Compuware report claims that storage cards containing vote data cannot be altered using the Windows File System. While true, there are still many other easily procured tools which CAN be used to alter the data.

* Compuware claims that error and audit entries are tracked. This is misleading because only SOME entries are tracked, not ALL.

Since Compuware was supposed to audit H-I software we are left to wonder about these misleading claims. Either Compuware failed to look closely at the system or they simply accepted claims from H-I without question.

Something Rotten in Texas

After leaving H-I, our tech took a job with the Office of the Tarrant County Elections Administrator, which had equipment from Hart-Intercivic and ES&S.

Once there, he discovered more of the same problems he had found at H-I in Ohio, along with shenanigans from repeat offender, ES&S.

What makes the situation scarier is the report of "shockingly inappropriate management decisions", "unethical decisions and erratic behavior" by Robert Parten, the Election Administrator.

According to our insider, Parten displayed a "blatant disregard for election law" and a "poor understanding of and interference with important technical aspects of the election systems".

Problems observed

* Invalid entries in the audit trail generated by H-I's election generation software. These problems could have been corrected, but Parten refused to allow the correction, meaning that any audit of the voting system would be immediately questioned due to the invalid entries.

* Public tests of the voting system were conducted improperly. When problems arose during the tests, they were corrected by altering the election database, which should have required a repeat of the public test, which was not done.

* Individuals required to be present to validate testing were not present for some or all of the tests.

* H-I sold equipment to the (card readers) to the county claiming that it was faster and would prevent corruption problems with ballot cards. In fact, internal testing showed that it did neither and seems to have been sold only to fatten H-I's bottom line.

* H-I sent a poorly trained tech in to do contract support work, which then had to be corrcted by staff techs.

H-I knew that despite its claims of "triple-redundant vote storage", problems occurred that still resulted in lost votes. Tarrant County was never told this until the problems appeared in elections. H-I then said it could recover lost votes, but that the units had to be shipped to Colorado to facilitate the repair. This was utter nonsense and the real reason was to keep the process for recovering votes secret. At this point, H-I would also reveal that the process didn't always work.

* ES&S persuaded other counties, and pressured Tarrant Co. to go along with a plan to force approval by the Texas SoS of uncertified software patches. The idea was to get enough counties asking for the patch (with the implied threat that the machines would not function correctly come election day) that the SoS would feel compelled to approve the request. This operation was personally conducted by ES&S vice president Tom Eschberger (the same Tom Eschberger who took an immunity deal for his involvement in a bribery/kickback scandal in Arkansas).

* Sensitive computers engaged in vote tabulation were left unprotected because Parten prohibited the assignment of passwords to them, claiming such changes a violation of election law.

* Sensitive computers, documentation, memory cards, and software media were not properly secured or kept track of.

* Anti-tampering devices were used improperly or not at all.

* County IT techs would routinely work on election computers, installing anti-virus software which caused the machines to crash due to incompatability with election software. Remote control software was installed on a computer containing sensitive election information.

* Tarrant county failed to perform regular and routine backups of their computers.

* H-I performed fixes of "on the fly" reports during elections, even while results were coming in.

In summing up his concerns, the tech reports being baffled by Parten's "continued work with these election companies; even after admissions of concealing software problems, inappropriate pressure, hints of backroom deals, and poor support."

I asked him further about "backroom deals" and he replied:

Both vendors would hint at discounts, extra support that might be available, ES&S drastically cut their price on a software upgrade, the one I mentioned for the FEB[ruary] election, to try to entice Tarrant to upgrade further. Nothing dramatic while I was there, but the staff reported, and other people I've worked with as a Hart employee have reported that vendors have either made or suggested things that were inappropriate, or they had heard things and had reason to believe them. I cannot be more specific here, let's just say I know for a fact it was happening in the industry, though I don't know that Hart did anything like that in any specific situation.

As you know, ES&S has repeatedly been investigated for bribery. In a competitive market, when a company like Hart loses a deal unexpectedly, let's just say you hear things. If you want some concrete example of inappropriate influence, an obvious one, look to Diebold offering to put offices in counties that bought their product. It's happened more than once.

Once again, here is a prime example of why our vote should not be in the hands of private contractors. When you mix greedy and unethical vendors with clueless or "pliable" public servants, you get a concoction toxic to democracy.

Texans and Ohioans, you need to get on the phone with your Secretaries of State and find out what they are doing about this problem.

I agree that the problem with Ron Paul supporters and Libertarians is
they just want to drop out, rather than fight to the death, unlike

Election fraud will occur in every precinct where Ron Paul voters
fail to perform their own audit of every vote, then file felony
charges and civil injunctions against the perps, as always required

90%, vote flipping can reverse that into 10%, with audits banned of
vote counts by private foreign military contractors.

This is reality. In Knox County Tennessee, "our" private foreign

You can get a copy of every vote in your county on CD, for a cost of
$100, to do your own audits. Lawyers or experienced pro ses must then
immediately file litigation in their jurisdiction, to assert their
voting rights. This is not optional if you want to win. Civil
litigation can routinely take 10 years, or 30 years, and only losers
or those bribed to take a dive quit too soon, like Al Gore. I
literally fight parking tickets harder than he fought for the White
House (took me 2.5 years to win that parking ticket trial). Class

1) we are genuine Ron Paul supporters and will be voting for him in
both the California Republican primary and, if he makes it that far,
the 2008 general election;

2) we support Ron Paul because we are libertarians (i.e., we would
like more personal freedoms and less government intervention), not
because we are anti-war;

3) we believe that the WTC attacks were perpetrated by Islamic
terrorists, not by our own government;

4) we believe that Hurricane Katrina was caused by a low pressure
system that developed over the Bahamas, not by our own government;

5) there is no mainstream media conspiracy against Ron Paul;

6) Ron Paul's fourth quarter fundraising was impressive, but
elections are decided by counting votes, not dollars; the media is

How Dare Charlie Gibson Allow Ron Paul To Speak

The role of a debate moderator, explains the New York Times, is to
protect the people's ears from dangerous ideas. Charlie Gibson,
running the ABC debate last night, did not do his job. Or as the
Times puts it, "by not intervening more forcefully early on in the
Republican debate, he allowed much of their discussion to remain
staid and uninformative — Representative Ron Paul, of all candidates,
dominated the foreign policy debate." And not just on foreign policy:
Ron dominated on energy, health care, economics, and all areas.

What happened was this: Ron Paul pointed out that the neocon emperor
has no clothes. He has always done that, but the past debates were
organized and moderated to marginalize him and silence him. Last
night, he was in the thick of things, and therefore he showed up his
opponents as scared and hollow men.

The regime is based on lies; it can't stand the truth, so last night
was an historic moment; the regime began to crumple. (Thanks to John

He Came, and He Saw, but Did He Moderate?

The first debates after the Iowa caucuses were a crucible for the
candidates, but they were also a test of the Gibson Doctrine. ABC's
anchor, Charles Gibson, began the evening with a policy
statement: "The less of a moderator, the better."

Last night, however, a little more moderator would have been for the
best.

Charles Gibson's low-key, avuncular style was a counterpoint to the
aggressive cross-examinations of Tim Russert, of NBC's "Meet the
Press," in the debates he moderated. But in the end, Mr. Gibson's
approach came off as passive-aggressive.

At certain moments, he loftily lectured the candidates. He scolded
the Republicans for "intellectual dishonesty" about oil prices. He
mocked Democrats who promised to change Washington, saying, "God love
you all."

But Mr. Gibson withdrew whenever the discussions grew heated. And by
not intervening more forcefully early on in the Republican debate, he
allowed much of their discussion to remain staid and uninformative —
Representative Ron Paul, of all candidates, dominated the foreign
policy debate.

When Rudolph W. Giuliani and others began to pile on Mr. Paul about
his views on radical Islam, the discussion got so tangled that Mr.
Gibson held up his hands in a time-out sign, saying with a helpless
laugh: "Time. Time." That prompted Mitt Romney to chide him, "You
started it."

The candidates are not the only ones seeking higher office. There was
a reason why Mr. Gibson spent so much time ahead of the debate
explaining how he wouldn't take time away from the candidates: he is
running for the position of America's anchor.

A little like Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama before the Iowa
caucuses, Mr. Gibson faced low expectations when he became the ABC
anchorman in May 2006. He seemed too old and rumpled to catch up with
Brian Williams, NBC's sleek, youthful anchorman, who held a
comfortable, commanding lead in the ratings. Mr. Gibson didn't seem
flashy enough to compete with Katie Couric, who was noisily promoted
by CBS as the face of the future.

Instead, viewers turned out not to want change: audiences preferred
Mr. Gibson's easy, dignified style and comforting familiarity. Now,
Mr. Gibson and Mr. Williams are basically running neck-to-neck for
the No. 1 spot, and Mr. Gibson has the advantage: in 2007, ABC's
evening news program was the one that gained viewers, while NBC lost
almost 500,000.

And like a candidate trying to lower expectations before a crucial
vote, Mr. Gibson played down his own role in the debates. "To the
extent that I can I'll shut up and hope that they talk to each
other," he said on ABC News just before the debate.

Mr. Gibson grew more assertive in the second half of the evening,
boring in on Senator Barack Obama on the subject of attacking Al
Qaeda in Pakistan, and prodding Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to
challenge Mr. Obama's readiness to take office. As the evening wore
on, he forgot his pledge to be the invisible moderator and showed off
his bona fides, saying in a prelude to a question to Democrats about
a possible nuclear attack, "I've read a lot about this."

Mr. Gibson clearly set out to stay in the background. Each new topic
was introduced with an explanatory video clip by ABC News reporters.
Mr. Gibson even used a clip of President Bush discussing the need for
firm principles to ask the Republican candidates to
discuss "constancy" on policy issues. He seemed to be opening the
debate to the problem of policy flip-flops.

But the question was posed in such a vague way that it allowed each
candidate to recite self-serving boilerplate about their personal
philosophies. Mike Huckabee recited lines from the Declaration of
Independence.

Mostly, Mr. Gibson seemed ambivalent. At times, he worked hard to
appear unobtrusive — crouched in his seat like Rodin's thinker, he
put a finger over his mouth before he finished a sentence, as if
hushing himself. At others, he turned magisterial. He insisted that
the Republican and Democratic candidates meet on stage in between
debates and shake hands, telling the audience, "What unites us is
greater than what divides us."

He never lost his cool, however, and it was a night that required
stamina: monitoring two back-to-back debates was a little like
sitting through all three parts of Tom Stoppard's eight-and-a-half
hour trilogy "Coast of Utopia" in one day.

Mr. Gibson had said that moderating a debate is a "high-wire act." It
is. But by insisting that he would stay out of the fray, he allowed
himself to look a little like a witness called in to testify before a
Senate hearing, where committee member pontificate at length while
the witness looks on gravely, hoping to not look bored or foolish on
camera.

"Winners" declared with only 30% of the votes "counted".

The Iowa caucus is only a few days away and the nation's attention
will be directed to the results, which signify the beginning of the
U.S. presidential race. But does anyone watch who tallies the results
of the Iowa caucus? The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a
company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron
Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the
same this year. Don't expect to see any grassroots political
activists doing the tally in Iowa. The Israeli defense establishment
takes care of that part of the American "democratic" election
process.

In the summer of 2004, I first learned that a foreign and out-of-
state company using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology
tallied the Iowa caucus results.

The system used to tally the 2004 Iowa caucus results was provided by
a company called Voxeo, which was apparently based in Orlando,
Florida. (Yellow flag goes up in the mind of those familiar with
Orlando and electronic vote fraud history. See Bollyn article on Wang
below.)

The calls from the nearly 2,000 caucus centers in Iowa went to a
Voxeo call center in Atlanta, Georgia.

On January 31, 2005, I wrote to Michelle Bauer, Iowa's Secretary of
State with some questions about the use of Voxeo, a foreign company
located in Florida, to tally the results of the Iowa caucus:


Subject: How was the Iowa Caucus Tallied?

Dear Sirs,

When I visited the headquarters of the Democratic Party in Des Moines
last summer, I learned that the tally of the Iowa caucus had
been "out-sourced" to a company in Atlanta, Georgia.

What this means is that the tallying of the Iowa caucus results was
done over the telephone, using the touch-tone buttons, to enter the
results from each caucus location…

I am interested in how this was done, and why. Why did the Democratic
Party allow the crucial tally of the caucus results to be done by a
company in Atlanta? Don't they trust their own math skills?

Can any of you provide any information about this matter?

I wrote this note back to Mr. Milligan:


Dear Mr. Milligan, I am responding to you about how the caucus
results for the Iowa Democratic Party were tallied on the night of
the nation's first caucus. After checking my sources, I can assure
you that it is correct that an out-of-state telephone/computer system
tallied the Iowa precinct results.

The system used was provided by Voxeo Corporation based in Orlando,
Florida. The calls went from Iowa to a call center in Atlanta,
Georgia.

This information was first provided to me last August by John
McCormally, Communications Director for the Iowa Democratic Party in
Des Moines, Iowa.

Today I called Voxeo (800) 305-5771 in Orlando and although I didn't
go into detail, the receptionist confirmed that Voxeo had conducted
the telephone tally of the Iowa Democratic Caucus results.

How is it that you don't know that?

McCormally told me that chairmen were selected in all 1,993 precincts
and these chairmen called in on touch-tone phones and after giving
their PIN number, were able to enter the results from their precinct
using the touch-tone number pad.

I'm not going to go into great detail at this point, but this
procedure of using an out-of-state computer company to tally the
precinct results for the Iowa Democratic Caucus lacks the
transparency and openness that one might expect in this exercise in
grass-roots poll.

Clearly, if someone wanted to adjust the results, it would be the
easiest thing to do to do it through this computer system in Orlando,
Florida. The Democrats in Iowa would never be aware of it, regardless
of their math skills, unless the paper results were carefully audited
in an open and honest manner.

Now, who really is Voxeo, and why are the Iowa caucus results tallied
by them? I don't know if the 2008 Iowa results will be tallied in the
same way, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Voxeo is headed by Jonathan Taylor, who is the company's President
and CEO. This is what his Voxeo webpage says about him:

There you have it. Jonathan Taylor's company, which he founded, was
taken over by Elron Electronic Industries, the Israeli defense high
tech company:

This is important information that Americans need to know and which
they will not find in the Zionist-controlled media in the United
States. It needs to be understood that the entire election process in
the United States is a fraud. More than that, it is a fraud that is
being perpetrated by the Israeli defense establishment on the naïve
and gullible American public.

The sine qua non of an honest and transparent election process is the
open counting of the votes by the voters themselves in each polling
station in front of the open eyes of other citizens and members of
the media. Any compromise in this most fundamental and essential
process which acts to remove the citizenry from the vote-counting
process simply cannot be accepted.

This is what Americans MUST get back to, in every polling station in
the nation: paper ballots that are hand counted in front of the
public.

Nothing else will do to protect their democratic franchise in the
United States - NOTHING.

are "counted" by foreign military contractor Danaher Systems, which
loses 20,000 registered votes in Knox County each "election". In 2007

So your story in Iowa sounds just like the nightmare in TN. The
Iowa "winners" were announded with only 30% of the votes "counted".
At 10pm CST, CNN's webpage alleged 97% of votes were counted, but
other totals reported only 30% to 40% were counted.
