Cheney's latest crime spree

This rant is followup to the 5 previous postings on this RSS feed.

Our crooked copsters here in Knoxville Tennessee are no better than
in Texas. They've fumbled the ball so many times, when they could
have arrested Bush & Cheney when they fly into Knoxville
International Cocaine Airport. But then, our former mayor was Bush
Jr's Skull & Bones coffinmate and fellow cheerleader at all-male Yale
(now he's ambassador to Poland), and the owners of our Scripps Howard
media mafia cartel are members of Bohemian Grove.

For ANYBODY to support Cheney in ANYTHING he does is criminal,
insane, and suicidal.

The "news" media failed to make an independent ballistics test to
compare Deadeye Dick's shotgun to Whittington's injuries.

Alex Jone's at least bought the exact model and choke of shotgun, and
used same shells as Cheney (Infowars.com). Then he presented his
results to the public, which is more than the "news" media did.
Jone's test ain't perfect. He needs hi-res photos of the target hits,
and he needs to do the test at 5-yard increments, with 5-foot by 5-
foot targets that include human outlines, in order to count the full
spread of pellets. Then simply post a table with the number of hits
on each target and within each body's outline, for each barrel (it
had 2 different choke sizes, and we don't know which one Cheney
fired - or both barrels).

Without crime scene photos of Whittington with his shirt off, before
doctors cleaned him up, and without the medical reports of exact
number of wounds and pellets recovered, we're all reduced to making
educated guestimates.

Whittington's bullet-ridden face:

At any rate, to not arrest Cheney for this crime, is to let the lead
hijacker of 9/11 escape. It's like dropping the winning touchdown
pass in the Superbowl.

Here's video from the 9/11 Commission of Secretary of Transportation
Norman Mineta (from Lockheed Martin) testifying as eyewitness to
Cheney ordering the military to stand down and allow the jet (robotic
Boeing A3 Skywarrior) to hit the Pentagon:

Cheney's hunting host lobbied White House

Ranch owner who divulged accident earned $160,000 for work in 2004

(ARMSTRONG ADMITS CHENEY WAS DRINKING ALL DAY)

(This article reported Armstrong was employed by Baker Botts law
firm, run by Bush family lawyer James Baker III, former secretary of
state who ordered Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait. Baker is general
counself for Carlyle Group, the Pentagon contractor owned by Sir
George Bush Sr Knight of the BRITISH Empire, British prime minister
John Major, Queen Elizabeth of England, the Saudi royal family, and
the BIN LADENS. Baker is the lawyer DEFENDING the Arabs in a trillion-
dollar class action filed by families of the victims of 9/11/2001.

By Aram Roston
NBC Investigative Unit
Feb. 15, 2006

Katharine Armstrong, whose family owns the ranch where Vice President
Dick Cheney accidentally shot a hunting partner, is a registered
lobbyist who has been paid to lobby the White House, according to
records.

Armstrong told NBC News in a telephone interview that she has never
directly lobbied Cheney as far as she remembers.

"Never!" she said. And she says she does not remember directly
lobbying the president himself either.

Armstrong was playing host to Cheney and to attorney Harry
Whittington at her 50,000-acre spread 60 miles south of Corpus
Christi when Cheney accidentally shot Whittington on Saturday. The
White House did not immediately release news of the incident, but
Armstrong said she told Cheney on Sunday morning that she was going
to inform the local paper, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. She said
he agreed, and the newspaper reported it on its Web site Sunday
afternoon.

A statement issued Monday by Kenedy County (Texas) Sheriff Gilbert
San Miguel, who interviewed Cheney after the hunting accident, said
that alcohol was not a factor in the shooting (BULLSHIT!). "The
investigation reveals that there was no alcohol, or misconduct
involved in the incident," the sheriff said (BUT CHECK HIS BANK
ACCOUNTS FOR SUSPICIOUS "CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS").

`No comment' on blood test

At a news conference Wednesday outside Whittington's hospital in
Corpus Christi, reporters asked hospital officials whether
Whittington's blood-alcohol level had been tested. The officials
responded with a "no comment." (IN OTHER WORDS HE WAS DRUNK!)

In a recorded, on-the-record phone call with NBC News, Armstrong said
that beer may have been available at lunch that day. "If someone
wants to help themselves to a beer," she said, "they may, but I did
not see anyone do that," Armstrong says (DRAM SHOP DOCTRINE HOLDS HER
CRIMINALLY LIABLE). She says she was not sure if there were beers in
the coolers but wasn't ready to rule it out: "There may be a beer or
two in there, but remember not everyone in the party was shooting,"
she told NBC News (SO THEY WERE DRINKING AND DRIVING).

Armstrong added that she did not believe that Cheney or anyone else
shooting in the hunting party had alcohol on Saturday before the
hunting accident (BULLSHIT!).

NBC News called the vice president's office for comment four times
Tuesday and Wednesday and asked whether the vice president or anyone
in the hunting party had consumed any alcohol on Saturday prior to
the accident. In an e-mail statement Wednesday to NBC News, the vice
president's press secretary referred NBC News to the Kenedy County
Sheriff's Department report on the incident. Later in the day on Fox
News, Brit Hume stated that Cheney told him during a taped interview
that he had had "a beer at lunch" before the hunting incident (THEN
ANOTHER BEER, AND ANOTHER, AND ANOTHER, UNTIL HE LOST COUNT).

Armstrong was paid $160,000 in 2004 by the powerful legal firm Baker
Botts to lobby the White House, according to records she filed with
the U.S. Senate as required by lobbying disclosure rules. The records
indicate she was paid the money after she "communicated with the
White House on behalf of Baker Botts clients."
http://bakerbotts.com

Won't reveal client's name

In a phone interview, she told NBC News that in return for the money
in one case, she set up a meeting at the White House for a Baker
Botts client, although she said she felt she could not release the
client's name.

"A meeting for doing something with one of their clients," she said,
describing the event. "I'm not at liberty to say which." (SAUDI ROYAL
FAMILY ACCUSED OF PERPING THE 9/11 TERRORIST ATTACKS?) She says she
cannot remember which White House official the meeting was with. She
also said that during the inauguration proceedings, she got Karl Rove
to speak at a Baker Botts function. "I got them Karl Rove," she said.

Records indicate that early in 2005 she ended her dealings with Baker
Botts.

In a subsequent interview, Armstrong told NBC News that Baker Botts
asked her not to discuss what she did for the firm. Reached late
Tuesday afternoon, Baker Botts had no comment on the story.

Records also indicate that early the same year she ended her lobbying
relationship with another firm, Prionics, which had paid her to "work
with the administration," on issues related to mad cow disease.
(BIOWEAPONIZED MAD COW PRION DISEASE?)

Bush shot at ranch while governor

Armstrong also told NBC News that while George W. Bush did shoot at
her ranch while he was Texas governor, she has never hosted him while
he was president.

Armstrong said the shooting accident happened toward the end of the
hunt on Saturday, when it was still sunny but as darkness was
encroaching and they were preparing to go inside. She said
Whittington made a mistake by not announcing that he had walked up to
rejoin the hunting line, and Cheney didn't see him as he tried to
down a bird.

Armstrong said she saw Cheney's security detail running toward the
scene. "The first thing that crossed my mind was he had a heart
problem," she told The Associated Press.

VP Accident Tale Filled With Discrepancies

By CALVIN WOODWARD and NANCY BENAC
Forbes Magazine
Associated Press
02.18.2006

Vice President Dick Cheney said he didn't immediately disclose his
hunting accident because he wanted the confusing details to come out
right. Instead, authorized accounts came out slowly - and often still
wrong.

The result: a week of shifting blame, belatedly acknowledged beer
consumption (not "zero" drinking after all) and evolving
discrepancies in how the shooting happened, its aftermath and the way
it was told to the nation.

"There's a reason they call this crisis management," said corporate
damage-control specialist Eric Dezenhall, "and that's because it's a
mess."

BLAME

In the first days after the vice president wounded attorney Harry
Whittington while shooting at quail last Saturday in Texas, blame was
placed on the victim for not announcing his presence to fellow hunter
Cheney.

"The vice president did everything right," Katharine Armstrong, the
ranch owner approved by Cheney to disclose the accident, said Monday.
Whittington, 78, should have shouted that he was rejoining the
hunting group after drifting off to retrieve a downed bird. "The
mistake exposed him to getting shot," she said. "It's incumbent on
him. He did not do that."

The White House picked up on that theme the same day in attempting to
deflect any responsibility from the vice president. "If I recall,"
Bush spokesman Scott McClellan said of Armstrong, "she pointed out
that the protocol was not followed by Mr. Whittington, when it came
to notifying the others that he was there."

The about-face came Wednesday when Cheney made his first public
comment on the accident.

"It was not Harry's fault," he said. "You can't blame anybody else.
I'm the guy who pulled the trigger and shot my friend."

DRINKING

Although there is no evidence (BULLSHIT!) that beer impaired Cheney's
judgment, initial denials that he had consumed alcohol were wrong.

"No one was drinking," Armstrong said at the outset (BULLSHIT!). "No,
zero, zippo." She said the hunters washed down lunch with Dr Pepper.
Later, she qualified her comments and said beer might have been in
the cooler but she did not think anyone drank any.

The investigating officer from the Kenedy County sheriff's
department, after interviewing Whittington in the hospital, reported
that the victim "explained foremost there was no alcohol during the
hunt." (BULLSHIT! WHAT WAS THE RESULT OF WHITTINGTON'S BLOOD-ALCOHOL
TEST?)

Authorities did not investigate the accident until the next day. The
Texas Parks and Wildlife accident report, dated two days after the
shooting, checked "No" on the question of whether Cheney appeared
under the influence of intoxicants. It did not address whether the
hunters had been drinking at all. (The report also included a diagram
depicting Whittington's wounds on the wrong side of his body.)

Cheney acknowledged Wednesday, "I had a beer at lunch" several hours
before the group's afternoon hunt, asserting "nobody was under the
influence." (BULLSHIT!)

VICTIM'S CONDITION

In the rush to assure everyone Whittington was "just fine,"
(BULLSHIT!) some important details were left out.

Initial reports had him treated at the scene, then taken by ambulance
to the hospital, where in no time he was cracking jokes with the
nurses. It turned out that after being taken to the emergency room of
a local, small hospital, he was flown by helicopter to the intensive
care unit of the larger hospital in Corpus Christi.

According to Armstrong's initial account of the accident scene: "He
was talking. His eyes were open." Later, Cheney said that when he
rushed up to the stricken man and talked to him, Whittington had one
eye open and did not respond. He was, however, conscious.

Doctors said Tuesday that Whittington suffered a mild heart attack
while in the hospital when one of the pellets migrated to his heart.
He was released Friday.

LICENSE

Cheney did not have all his hunting papers in order, as suggested by
the White House and initially stated by Texas authorities.

On Sunday, a spokesman for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
said Cheney was legally hunting with a license he bought in November.
While that was true, the department's accident report the next day
stated that he was in violation of a law requiring him to have an
upland game bird stamp.

DISCLOSURE

The accident raised questions about the flow of information into and
out of the White House communications apparatus.

Asked why no one released news of the shooting on Saturday night,
McClellan said "the vice president's office was working to make sure
information got out" (BULLSHIT!) but that details were slow to reach
Washington that evening.

Armstrong, for her part, said no one at the ranch even discussed
releasing the news on Saturday.

She said her family realized Sunday morning that it would be a story
and decided to call the local newspaper, the Corpus Christi Caller-
Times. She said she then discussed news coverage with Cheney for the
first time.

"I said, 'Mr. Vice President, this is going to be public, and I'm
comfortable going to the hometown newspaper,'" she told The
Associated Press. "And he said, 'You go ahead and do whatever you are
comfortable doing.'"

TELLING WASHINGTON

McClellan said President Bush was told shortly before 8 p.m. EST
Saturday that Cheney had shot Whittington, less than half an hour
after Bush first heard there had a been an accident of some sort
involving Cheney's hunting party. Confirmation that Cheney was the
shooter was obtained when deputy chief of staff Karl Rove called
Armstrong, McClellan said.

However, McClellan said he didn't personally know Cheney was the
shooter until the next morning (BULLSHIT!), about 6 a.m. EST Sunday,
when he was awakened with the news.

He said he only knew the previous evening that someone in Cheney's
party had been involved in a hunting accident.

Diagram in Cheney's accident report wrong

BY TOM BRUNE AND TIMOTHY M. PHELPS
NEWSDAY WASHINGTON BUREAU
February 16, 2006

WASHINGTON -- There is something wrong with this picture.

In the only publicly available, official report on last weekend's
accidental shooting by Vice President Dick Cheney, a diagram of a
body shows where Austin lawyer Harry Whittington was hit by pellets
fired from Cheney's Italian-made shotgun.

That diagram has been picked up and faithfully replicated by
television and newspapers across the country, including the New York
Times this week and by Newsday Thursday.

The only problem is that the diagram is wrong, by all accounts. It
shows Whittington hit on the left side of his face, neck and chest
when Cheney, the Kenedy County Sheriff's office and the report itself
say the wounds were on the right side.

Texas Game Warden James Duke filled out the report on Monday, based
on information from the sheriff's office, and he made a mistake, said
Lydia Saldana, spokeswoman for the Texas Department of Parks and
Wildlife. "That's a human error," Saldana said. "He should have
colored the other side. It was the right side of the face and neck."

The diagram is a mirror image of a frontal representation of a body.
Duke forgot to adjust and put marks for the shots on the body's right-
hand side. Instead, he put them on his own right-hand side, Saldana
acknowledged.

Duke was not alone in his mistake. In another diagram showing the
body from the side, however, Duke got it right, the Texas Parks and
Wildlife Department's hunting accident report form shows.

"You want to try to record it accurately. That always helps if you
pull it up again in the future," said Mark Birkhauser, president
elect of the International Hunting Education Association.
