It's been awhile since we had a message that wasn't SPAM posted here. Are there
any die-hard Po5 fans still out there? I definitely still miss the show...
especially in light of the current CRAP on TV.
Have you bought the DVDs for seasons 1-3? If you haven't, GO DO IT!
So who else is out there?
~ Rob
All, did you hear the news? They're releasing Season 3 on March 25!
You can even pre-order it from Amazon.com now.
Anyone out there still love this show like I do? :)
~ Rob

Hola! Seasons 1 and 2 of Party of Five are available on DVD, but
there hasn't been an announcement about any future seasons. I have
seen some "bootleg" copies of seasons 3 through 5 sold on eBay.

HI people, I'm a big fan of Party of Five. I'm from Brazil and here we
don't have the DVDs for sale.
I have to get from the Internet. But my English is not so good, and I
need the Subtitles. The subtitles in english is enough.
Someone can help me? Please?
If you have the DVD you can extract the Close Caption for me.
Send me a email that I can help you do to this.
There aren't subtitles in the internet. And there are a lot of people
in all over the world who loves Party of Five.
Who will help?
Ash, you can write me at count_de_almasy@... if you'd rather
respong via email.

Ash!!! It's SO good to hear from you! I've wondered about you over
the last couple years. How are things? Are you in college
somewhere?
I love that you're still thinking about Po5! 8) I JUST found out
about the DVDs today (!) and ordered them from Amazon.com. Obviously,
I should check in here more often.
Be sure to let me know how you're doing, kiddo.

Alright so i skimmed on a few episodes, but for the most part, yeah,
i read the whole thing. You see, I'm a college student, and i spent
last weekend at home, it wasnt the greatest homecoming ever(money
issues i.e. im "spending too much"), so i got on the computer and
stumbled onto these, and they definitely make up for my stupid
parents.
I definitely liked season 8 over season 7. There was
less "directions" or whatever you wanna call it, for the character's
actions, which left more up for interpretation, which left less room
for confusion.
As for the characters, i thought in the beginning the females were
portrayed a little stereotypically, especially any time a grown
woman ran out of a room crying. Women over the age of 15 are
generally over that stage, it's a litte TOO telling. But overall I
think the characters found their footing in the 8th season as well.
I loved reading about Griffen and Julia's relationship coming to
fruition(is that a word?); they were so right, and this time around
they actaully worked. I also really liked Charlie's storylines.
But that may have something to do with my newfound adoration for
Charlie after watching season 1 on dvd. He's come such a long way!
I geuss you could say im a writer. Another person, well couple
actually, that i grew a greater understanding of from watching the
dvds, was Justin and Julia, talk about love, they were so cute, and
then Julia grew a pair, so to speak, as the seasons went on and
dumped all over him. Anyways, what im gettin too, was that the dvds
led me to writing a little fiction about them.
Heres the link:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1904541/1/
Anyways, i think i've written enough to prove i have no life(or
maybe it's insomnia).

OMG! You read ALL of the 7th and 8th season this past weekend???
That's fifty episodes!
Glad you liked them. 8) I was a writer for both seasons. We had
five "main" writers for the 7th season and four for the 8th, but
none of us have the time to dedicate to a 9th. If there are people
out there who want to pick up where we left off, I'll be glad to

Are you a writer, by chance? And did you think the characters
stayed true to the TV show when you read the episodes? Did you
prefer the 7th or 8th season?
Thanks,
Rob

I suppose i caught on to the 7th and 8th seasons a bit late, as i've
just read them this past weekend. *snickers* Anyways i loved them
and i was just curious about the possibility of there being a season
9.
There is a small news item at TVshowsondvd.com that mentions the
November 16th release date for Season Two has been postponed. They
don't know if this means the it's canceled or delayed. (Sigh) That
would REALLY suck if we only get Season One on DVD!
It took me all of five minutes not to think about "Charlie Salinger"
every time I saw Matthew. That's a HUGE compliment to Matthew's
acting skills. He really did a great job. I didn't see a
single "Charlie-like" gesture, unlike all of Neve's roles where you
can ALWAYS see Julia.
Overall, the show wasn't bad. Anyone else catch it?
Rob
I forgot to mention that Scott Wolf has joined the cast of "Everwood"
on WB. He plays a new doctor in town. So far he seems very peppy
and energetic and very un-Bailey-ish. Well, not to the extreme where
he seems like a bad guy. But Bailey always acted wise beyond his
years, for the most part and this new character just acts like a
normal guy. Maybe a nice change? We'll just have to see. It's
great to see that trademark smile on tv again.

The ABC drama "Lost" debuts this coming Wednesday, Sept. 22. I
thought it was apt that it airs Wednesdays, considering all those
years of watching Matthew Fox as Charlie every Wednesday.

Let's hope it's at least half as good as PO5 'cuz that would still
make it great.
