Hi!
Did you try the www.FOX.com gallery? And don't forget the Survivor
website which includes pics from the PH show. I saved many from both
sites!
Hope this helps! There's another site with pics but I can't remember
which one! Will look that up for you!
Best in fun!

Hi! Yes, I do, and it's not a "real time" cam! Nope! It has various
clips that you don't see on the show and some you do. For example,
the boys had a butt contest for the girls and that was funny! Amy
won, I think! The clips are a few minutes long, but fun! One scene
was rather long showing Amanda and Beau in their hotel room talking
about their clothes, underwear, the cameras and stuff!
I enjoy it, but I didn't even know what to expect.
Hope this helps!

Hey!
Dh and I slow-viewed our tape of the program and guess what? Toni was
crying without her necklace on with Andon looking quite seriously
affected and in another scene she was wearing the black necklace that
Charla wore. Remember Charla's comment about it's color? So when you
consider all the previews of Andon and Charla together in the pool
and her various angst shots, you put 2 & 2 together and figure the
burf Toni gal might indeed be the first to go!
She and Andon looked great together, but Andon and her both were just
friends!
I find Melanie, the oldest gal who hooked up with Scott, to be a
materialistic money-oriented gal in her coaching of Charla, in
her "money" reaction to her pajamas, and inferring that Andon just
was a target for Charla's survival in the show. When viewing the
clips, it seemed that Charla actually liked Andon and Andon flirted
with her at the dinner, making Toni feel quite uncomfortable!
Nonetheless, strategy must come into play and I'm sure the guys are
playing it that way without letting the girls know. The girls tend to
think that they need to "fall in love" here, and this just seems so
cliche and naive!
It's funny, Melanie, Andon is the most educated and the most able to
make a good living than any of the other guys! Too bad tattoos and
earrings are still judged as anti-society --- way too old in her
thinking!
L.
Perhaps your right! But when one is thoughtful -- you get thoughts!

I didn't realize it till I saw her, Toni is really really buff, full
of muscle and really strong...did anyone see the tree trunk size arms
she has, and just how huge her body is....i didn't think they'd get a
contestant who has the muscle power to crush the average guy...
Hello small group!
First of all I want to wish the cast on Paradise Hotel a great show
and a fun time.
As I was readng the FOX.com message board I read a post that
stimulated my thinking about this show. The woman said she thought
the show would be "disgusting" and in view of our nation's situation
in world affairs, that this show would degrade our national pride and
reputation and that the producers should be ashamed of themselves!
Now, I think we all have an awareness of this factor. I myself have
gone from one end of the spectrum to the other on the importance and
relevance of such a construct for a reality show. It seems that it's
based on the hormonal energies present in youth and the decadence of
the wealthy. And again, the underlying reason to produce such a TV
program in the first place -- ratings =====> is money! OK, so we
realize this.
But, we must look at this from many perspectives. What do young
people in that age group establish at this time of their lives? What
do audiences in that age group and the larger society find
fascinating in human this era of human relations? And lastly, what
benefits for the guests should be considered?
#1 Young people according to Eastern religions, social scientists,
and parents who know, are busy establishing their sense of selves,
their egos, in this time of life and busy learning about the opposite
sex and social relations. College and work for this age group entails
all of these components! Who am I in the world, what do I want, who
will be my mate, what am I as a sexual being? So naturally the
opportunity to both view those on TV expressing this, and also
experiment with themselves in a luxury environment would peek their
curiosity, offer a great social learning experience and offer them
much food for learning. This IS the world of the ego -- which may
offend some who are more mature in their spirituality and life
experience, but we must accept this in the young as not all young are
spiritually advanced. Love, romance, play, sexuality, even
experimenting with mood altering substances for many seems to be a
commonality in youth. Appealing to their sense of adventure and zest
for experiencing pleasure, young people natually would be enticed to
such a chance for not only to enjoy themselves socially, but to also
experience some level of noteriety as they were raised on movies,
drama, and a level of media culture that older people cannot imagine!
So although the values may seem skewed to some, the fascination with
outer beauty was thrust upon them from our culture and they, because
of their inherited good looks, became attracted to and attracted by
this media culture. We cannot blame them or judge them therefore. Can
the producers be blamed? Why, when humans around the world have been
fascinated by one another in romance and sexuality for hundreds of
years! From Shakespeare and romance literature to soap operas and
romantic comedies it seems a logical progression to employ those
young people who would be attracted to this phenomenon with the lure
of noteriety, social contact, luxury, and fun. It's the nature of the
three attractive factors -- media culture, youth, and experience!
It's human nature.
#2 Naturally audiences of all kinds would watch, but I would suspect
a greater percentage of the youth audience would find this construct
appealing. They imagine themselves in the same situation. They
identify and live the imagined social interactions for themselves.
They admire those everyday youth who participate and for those who
want to participate, they have the opportunity -- if they meet the
requirements. Now it's a drawback that only those who are physically
attractive would be considered, but isn't this human nature, too, to
be attracted to that which we have all been lead to believe, is
attractive physically? Maybe we're brainwashed, but this seems to be
logical in the world of the ego in the young. We all learn that looks
don't matter, and many young already know this, but when it comes to
entertainment, don't we all idolize the images we hold as handsome or
pretty? And don't the young find physical attractiveness a part of
their experience? We of course know that love does not rely on that
alone, but in terms of youthful sexual attraction it does play a
large factor. And that's the reality, as hurtful for many as it is.
It just is. The "Shallow Hal" movie really provided an eye opener for
many, but our society is a long way off from realizing these more
grounded and loving values. So although it may seem frivolous and
demeaning to America for some, the reality of "looks" is accepted as
the first step in attraction for most people around the world. It
just is. And there are those who enjoy just looking at attractive
people and those who enjoy watching them relate and criticizing them,
too. And some who just want to see young people enjoying their youth.
#3 What do these young people as contestants on this kind of
voyeuristic show derive as a benefit? First of all, they learn about
themselves in a particular social construct. They may also learn
about the values of Hollywood producers in reference to their own
values. They may also learn how to "play the game" and play it to
their advantage and maybe learn to play it for the gain of others.
They may learn to act and they may learn to cooperate. They may learn
rejection and they may learn acceptance or both. Considering their
sense of self in the world, the ego experience of noteriety would
feel good, although in the long term of experience, upon
reflection, they would realize its fleeting nature, yet possibly
remain a wonderful memory! They might be noticed as an acting
potential by other producers. They might actually find a mate or
attract a mate through their exposure. They might learn something
from one of their peers that will stay with them for the rest of
their lives and enrich their life. They may realize that luxury is
not what it's cracked up to be, as well, and they my hone their own
values through this taste of riches and realize through the
experience of it, that perhaps it's not worth pursuing as a goal.
They may also realize that people and their relationships were the
fun aspect, the important aspect of the experience and not the
setting. When we consider that experience is the great teacher, we
realize that all of these participants will be enriched whether they
leave early or stay!
So this woman who expressed herself so negatively on how the rest of
the world would perceive such a reality show construct, could be
perceiving too narrowly. I leave it up to you to determine how you
feel personally and welcome any feedback or further thoughts on this
subject. The rest will be in the pudding so to speak as we watch the
show and try to determine its value from all perspectives. Trying to
see the good and bad in all things is a way to stay centered and not
polarized on any issue. Some issues need to be taken by the horns and
after seeing both sides, we need to take a side and stick to it, like
war and peace. But this television show, which is explained in
advance to all the participants, who know the consequences, who
signed up to take the risks and experience the joys -- seems benign
in its overall impact on society and the world. Yes, money is
involved, but this is a part of our world reality, now. It just is.
The youth will always experiment and learn. And all cultures are
fascinated with romance and sexuality. I too wish the more cultured
aspects were emphasized, but such is life in that era of personal
development. Until human nature and media culture changes, we will
see more and more of such kinds of entertainment. Perhaps it will
mature to include all races, all sizes and shapes of people, and more
talents instead of this. But other shows in the talent realm, the
real life realm, the nature realm, the survivor realm and more will
probably continue and develop as we all take a peek at real people in
various contexts!
Your thoughts?
Laurel
Whoops! I made a mistake on that as posted, it's Wednesday!
Production delays? Interesting! Don't know a thing about reality show
production or movie production.
Anyone getting excited? I am! And there are reasons that shall be

Hi! Just thought I'd sign on early and get onboard the Paradise train
before it pulls out of the station!
6 guys and six gals in a real life luxury hotel? They'll have a good
time, they'll vote someone off, the audience will vote someone on and
they'll play competitive games? Sounds fun! I just hope the FOX
people respect EVERYONE!
How the audience works in connnection with voting is still confusing
to me. Already the new contestants are being lined up, and how will
they be presented?
Well, this summer will be unforgettable for those playing this
Paradise Hotel game! Let's send them all our best wishes!
Tally Ho! And let the games begin!
