And anyway LiAnn and Mac belong together. (Suppose that amoungst so many
ratboy fans that ones going to be contested :)

MM:"The name's Moose"..as Vic told his kid sis. heehee Most people on here
call me that or Moosey.
'Wow, Nick is listed as supporting cast. I thought he was the STAR'.
MM:He IS the star to me.:D
He was the reason that I wanted to see the eps. Thanks to a certain kind
soul, I got to see the series.
MM:Really? What a nice person to do that.heehee
My favorite ep is 'The Last Temptation of Vic'. I think that's the one
where Vic sees the Director's other team. I liked Vic's reaction, and the
interaction between Vic and the Director.
MM:Oh yes lots of (can I say it?)*ssssexual tension* there. *LOL* I think
Vic and the Director would have been so good together. LiAnn was too tame
for him. Am I right or will this spark a debate?
I didn't think that other team looked much like them but I guess I am in
denial that anyone could compare to Nick. *sigh* However, Vic's expression
was priceless.

whether they know what you're talking about or not.
Maple Lea, I look forward to your Oat fic.

on enough lists. I wouldn't pass up the chance to talk about (one of)
my favorite things: Nick Lea, oh, and OAT, too. When I read the
welcome message, I thought, 'Wow, Nick is listed as supporting cast. I
thought he was the STAR'. He was the reason that I wanted to see the
eps. Thanks to a certain kind soul, I got to see the series. Victor
will always be my favorite OAT character, but now I have a fondness for
all the re-occuring cast members. If anyone wants to
discuss/review/drool-over any particular ep, then I'll just have to
re-watch that particular show because I have a memory like a sieve.
I'll just have to make the sacrifice. My favorite ep is 'Temptation of
Vic'. I think that's the one where Vic sees the Director's other team.

It may take me a little while to catch up and post. Also, it seems we
have the four corners of Earth pretty much representated. I represent
New York City, New York State, USA. We do not get the series here but
I did record the three cable movies off of The Movie Channel, John
Woo's Once a Thief (directors cut; Family Business and Brother Against
Brother were compiled from 4 reg eps).I've been spreading the word
about NL and OAT on and off-line. Maple Lea, I look forward to your Oat
fic. Suewho doesn't like posting from the website because it doesn't

Rave on was ok.
Remember in Little Sister when Mac and LiAnn went to Vic's apt? He was
cooking up a storm *LOL* then they all left. When Vic and LiAnn were back at
his place, the kitchen was clean. Now he must have cleaned up AFTER he got
back and THEN checked on Alice/Allegra. You would think that he would have
checked on her first? Hmmm...
Oh well.

I guess we could start out simple and name our fave ep(s) and explain why.
As if it's not obvious! LOL Me? First one in my head is "True Blue". Not
just because it revolved around Victor, thereby providing us with Nick
screen-time in almost every scene, but also because Nick was really
convincing and intense in this one! Do you think that was really his
mustache or was it a fake (in the flashback scenes)?

No actual topic yet but we can start one. I should get Irina to join this
list. My partner in crime..uh I mean, writing..heehee.
As you know, we're in the midst of an OAT fanfic.
You want to watch the eps huh? Go for it. I should watch an ep or two
later...maybe even now. Now there's a plan...We could discuss an ep
or.......umm..I don't know..any ideas?

I know. Well anyone else would be too after being set up that way and then
sent to prison.
I have to laugh at the show, a very minimal amount of blood no matter how
beaten up they get and the big one is how Vic got up after being hit by the
car. Anyone else would have been in the hospital. Oh well anything is

Hi
Yeah, I think a couple more people ar going to join up soon.
I never know when Jack and Jill is on so I don't watch it. I saw one ep and
it's weird seeing him as someone else other than Mac. Totally different
character.
They keep showing OAT over and over here. I've seen the eps about 20 times
each. My fave is True Blue(I don't know how it would translate over there).
Vic's old cop buddies find out that he's free and go after him.
I saw Nick a lot on X Files but really noticed him in OAT. Not much
competition on OAT and he had a major role in that. Vic is so my type of
man. heehee tough exterior but a softie on the inside. And he cooks. So do I
but it's nice to see a man who's handy in the kitchen.
TTYS and Happy New Year.

Hello again,
We seem to be the only ones on this list so far.
So did you just get OAT over there? It's on here in reruns on Wednesdays.
I've seen all of the eps several times over coz I taped them for several
people.
Well as for OAT cast...I think the only one who was American was Ivan. Even
so, I think he has dual citizenship. I heard that he and Sandrine Holt were
a couple but they're not as well known so we don't hear a lot of news on
them. He's on a show in the US called Jack and Jill and she models in
Toronto and maybe other places.
Nick Lea is filming a movie(The Vertical Limit) in New Zealand and he filmed
one this past summer in LA,called Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, which is scheduled
for TV release in February 2000. VL is supposed to be in theatres sometime
in 2000. He also makes appearances on Xfiles as Krycek. They are very short
scenes though.
The "Director"-Jennifer Dale,is on another Canadian show called Power
Play..It's centred around hockey managers and promoters. The young actress
who played Vic's kid sister is on that show too.
As for the others, I haven't seen or heard of them either.

This is a list about the Canadian television show "John Woo's Once a Thief".
Although cancelled in March of 1998, there are still loyal fans of both the
show, the lead actors (Ivan Sergei, Sandrine Holt), and the supporting cast
members (Nicholas Lea, Jennifer Dale, Vicky Pratt, Howard Dell, Julian Richings,
Greg Kramer, James Allodi). This list is for anyone who wants to discuss OAT or
it's cast.
