Time to start watching 'Crime and Punishment' of NX
in our 1-a-week-NX viewing schedule.
This is the episode where Chris is sent to trial for
parole violations back in West Virginia. Mike Monroe
gets creative in his defense and allows for the whole
town to share with the visiting judge why they think
Chris is so special to Cicely.
This is probably my favorite Mike Monroe episode;
never liked his character much, but thought this is one
where he shined as a character of NX... aside from his
wimpy coughs and wheezing over the paper. *lol*
Anyway, here is the schedule coming up:
November 22nd; week 64: Crime and Punishment
November 29th; week 65: Survival of the Species
December 6th; week 66: Revelations
December 13th; week 67: Duets
December 20th; week 68: Grosse Pointe 48230
December 27th; week 69: Learning Curve
Jump on in and watch when you can! NX is good
for your soul. :)

Time to start watching 'Do The Right Thing' of NX
in our 1-a-week-NX viewing schedule.
This is the episode where the health inspector lad
comes to town and vexes poor Holling with his
demands. Also Maurice gets an unwelcome visit

have proof he was less than discrete with classified
intelligence. Great episode, don't you think?

Time to start watching 'Thanksgiving' of NX in our
1-a-week-NX viewing schedule.
Perfect time of year to get into the tomato-throwing
spirit of an NX Thanksgiving! So pop in the DVD or
VHS and join in some time this week. :)
In this episode Cicely has a Day of the Dead Parade and
follow it up with a huge community Thanksgiving feast!
Joel thinks he has little to be thankful for after he learns
Alaska requires his services for another year.
Mike Monroe considers moving to a less-contaminated clime.
Meanwhile, Chris waxes nostalgic about Thanksgivings
past - in prison.

November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

Well, Guys she obviously did not love him 'enough' and as such she made the
right decision for her...and that is what I applaud, her independence, her
ability to see the fogged wood of love for the reality of the variety and beauty
of the trees, valuing her self as a whole person, not needing to merge with
someone else and follow his dreams rather than her own....if he had loved her so
devotedly he would have stayed in Cicley and made a life with her...both made
the right choice IMHO......if more people were that honest I feel there would be
less divorce and misery, a real message and example for our troubled
times.....RCM

I think they ditch the good things because they make people want 'something'
better from life, which can mean that conscience raised people have a greater
world view and that can be dangerous, better to invest in terminal violence and
mayhem and fear, which keeps people stultified along side 'reality TV', having

Time to start watching 'The Bad Seed' of NX in our
1-a-week-NX viewing schedule.
This schedule is very relaxed so no pressure.
If you haven't been able to follow along there is no
time like the present to just jump on in. You can pick
it up anywhere along the way and it is still perfectly
enjoyable. :)
This is the episode where Holling discovers he has a
daughter and she is piece of work! I think you would
call her a grifter or scam artist. She charms Shell into
acting bad, but only for a while.
Also Marilyn is searching for her own place and Maggie
is the ever patient real estate lady.
Ed is happy to see his beloved crane "Lady"... is that her
name?
Here is the schedule coming up:
November 1st; week 61: The Bad Seed

A weekly reminder for anyone that is interested in

which delights the townsfolk. Meanwhile, finding a

Enjoy the snow and Bon Hiver to you!
We don't get much at our elevation here in
Oregon. When we do see it, it is magical. :)

Listen! the wind is rising,
and the air is wild with leaves,
We have had our summer evenings,
