Hello everyone,
Ever since getting interested in the Civil War Era and the North &
South miniseries, I have been wanting to go to a Civil War
Reenactment.
Now that I live in America I have had the great opportunity to do so.
I have so far been to two reenactments here in Southern California.
The first one was at the St Catherines Military Academy in Anaheim. A
small but great event in April.

The second time was at the Huntington Beach Central Park. It was a
grant and great event in August.

To me it is like living history. What a wonderful opportunity to
learn more about the Civil War Era of this nation. These reenactments
keep history alive.
Later this year in Moorpark they will have the largest and grandest
Civil War Event in Southern California. And I plan to be there with
my family. It's something I'm really looking forward to and will now
share with my stepchildren as well (the former two I visited with my
husband).

Have any of you ever been to a Civil War reenactment? And if so, what
was the experience like to you?
Take care,
Angelique
