Everyone boards John's jet to fly back to Salem. Before it takes off,
Steve sees the same mysterious woman from the inn and gives chase.
She disappears before he can catch her. Who is she? Marlena calls
Sami to tell her about the "ghosts" she saw. Sami recalls the
connection both she and EJ felt at that same time. Bo's symptoms are
worse and he finally tells Hope that he is ill. Marlena is
heartbroken when John tells her he's thinking about leaving Salem.
Sami visits Lucas and he tells her why he really shot EJ. She melts
and declares her undying love for him. Lucas extracts a promise from
Sami: she'll never give herself to EJ. Can she keep that promise?

THIS WEEK ON "DAYS OF OUR LIVES"
Steve catches a glimpse of the mystery woman before heading back
home. Bo opens up to Hope about his illness. As the plane begins to
lose air pressure, all on board look to John save the day. Victor and
Caroline share their history together with Chelsea. Max and Stephanie
can't seem to see eye-to-eye on their growing relationship. Abe and
Roman get word about the plane being lost. As the plane continues to
lose oxygen, both Grandpa Shawn and Bo fight one another to save the
other's life.

SAMI LETS GO OF HER "HEART"...
Sami goes to the prison to see Lucas one last time. As she is there,
she professes her love for him and bids him a tearful farewell. Kate
locates Roman and begs him to get Lucas's sentence lessened. Tony and
Anna head to the safe house to visit EJ and immediately takes notice
to EJ's parenting skills. Abe informs Sami and EJ that they no longer
have to stay in the safe house. Anna reprimands Tony for telling EJ
that Sami will soon forget all about Lucas. Meanwhile, back in her
apartment, Sami tearfully watches the DVD Lucas left for her.

Unfortunately, Ethan and Theresa are surrounded by sharks in the
water.

By the end of the week everyone believes Theresa is dead (she's not

John's plane has crashed! Everyone is okay, except for the pilots and
Grandpa Shawn, who gave his life to save Bo. Hope and Marlena work to
revive unconscious Bo. Kayla has cramps and worries about her baby.
John bonds with Claire. Meanwhile, back in Salem, a group gathers in
Roman's office to get updates about the status of the plane. They
learn it crashed in Greenland or over the water but the search planes
can't find anything due to the bad weather. Everyone gathers at St.
Luke's to pray. At the plane crash site, Philip, John and Chloe
improves shelters for some of the survivors and everyone groups
together to stay warm. But do they do more than just keep each warm?

Juanita has been arrested and Pilar finally feels she can tell her
family the truth about her past. Gwen worries that Pilar will expose
her part in setting up her and Theresa, but Pilar's story is
interrupted by awful news — Juanita has escaped. Luis returns to his
motel room, hoping Fancy will be there, but is momentarily
disappointed to see Sheridan there with Marty. Luis is concerned upon
hearing of Fancy's odd behavior at home, while Sheridan wonders if
there's something more to it. Eve helps Vincent with his Lamaze
training, doing her best to comprehend the crazy situation. Vincent
then proceeds to gag and tie up Eve in the closet. Valerie has
a "date" with Julian and doesn't want to be disturbed. A horrified
Eve is forced to listen as Valerie tries to seduce her baby's father.

John's plane crashes. As a result, Steve and Bo are knocked
unconscious. Marlena tries to revive Bo. The plane crash survivors
attempt to help each other. Roman, Abe, Lexie, Max, Stephanie, and
Chelsea learn that the plane has crashed.

Tuesday, February 19:
After regaining consciousness, Bo learns that his beloved pop is
dead. Philip comforts Chloe. Abe and Roman take on the task of making
phone calls to Caroline and Victor. Caroline asks everyone to go to
the church and pray for their loved ones.

Wednesday, February 20:
Kayla fears losing her baby. Philip and Chloe decide not to have sex.
Nick comforts a distressed Chelsea. Abe and Roman learn that the
crash site location has been found. Abe and Roman receive an update
from the FAA. Shawn and Belle discuss having another baby. John tells
Marlena that he still doesn't remember her. The crash survivors hope
to be rescued when they hear a helicopter above.

Thursday, February 21:
The crash survivors are rescued. Bo is taken to the ICU. Lexie orders
a round of tests for Bo. Kayla's obstetrician examines her and urges
her to avoid all stress for her baby's sake. Steve shares Kayla's
pregnancy news with Stephanie.

Friday, February 22:
Tony tries to convince Anna to sleep with him, but is unsuccessful in
his efforts. After lurking around in the hospital corridor, a
mysterious woman leaves a note for Steve. John and Marlena tell
everyone about Colleen.

The sorority girls meet to decide Chelsea's fate. Morgan says they've
decided to forgive her. Ava accuses Steve of leaving her without even
a goodbye and intends to make him suffer. Steve asks Abe to run Ava's
name through the police computer files. John and Marlena go to the
sanitarium to see Stefano. John tells his half-brother he made a huge
mistake — he put the two people together he never wanted together,
John and Colleen. An attorney reveals Stefano cut both EJ and Tony
out of his will. No one is left to take charge of the DiMera empire
but John. At the sanitarium, a comatose Stefano recalls how he and
Rolf erased John's memory and put it all on one small disk. During
the funeral, each of Shawn's children gives a eulogy to their father.
Caroline says goodbye to Shawn. Lexie learns Bo's pancreas is
shutting down. Lexie assures the family he does not have cancer, but
she does not know what is wrong with him. Anna lies to Tony's
secretary that he is a horrible womanizer.
When his secretary quits, Tony is furious.

Valerie torments Eve by making love to Julian in front of her.
However, it's Julian who gets the biggest shock when Valerie's wig
falls off, revealing his lover's true identity. While Kay tries to
convince Tabitha that she dispatched the Demon Elf for good, he waits
in hiding, laughing at the foolish girl. The Demon Elf causes total
chaos at Tabitha's house until she and Kay are forced to use magic to
get rid of the evil imp once and for all.

John and Marlena visit Stefano. John tells Stefano that he made a

Ava, but is unsuccessful in his efforts.

Wednesday, February 27:
Bo's condition is still undiagnosed. Bo is released from the hospital
to attend Grandpa Shawn's funeral. Victor and Caroline share a close
moment. Caroline bids her final good-byes to her beloved Shawn. John
questions Marlena in regards to their marriage. Steve notices Ava
spying on him.

Thursday, February 28:
The Brady family gathers for Grandpa Shawn's wake. Kimberly bids an
emotional farewell to her loved ones. Bo is brought back to the
hospital after nearly passing out. Steve asks Abe to run a background
check on Ava through the police computer. Anna arrives for her new
job.

Friday, February 29:
Marlena is disgusted to see John going through Stefano's finances.
Stefano recalls how he and his sidekick Dr. Rolf erased John's
memory. Sami insists to EJ that they must get an annulment. Lexie
panics when Bo's pancreas starts to fail.

it's over and it's not. We have a lot of happy times ahead of us!"
Victor agrees, "Yes you do. I can guarantee it."


New doctor comes to town and is instrumental in helping Bo, not to
mention instrumental in helping the fans watch more, due to being a
hottie.

John contemplates leaving Salem for good.

DiMera mansion to have dinner with John. John announces his plans to
expand the DiMera empire. Bo and Hope reminisce about their romance.
Doctors Kayla and Lexie learn about an experimental procedure which
involves a living donor. Bo's condition deteriorates. Stephanie finds
her father talking to a distasteful character.
Tuesday, March 11: Bo's loved ones arrive at the hospital to say
their good-byes. Kayla urges Daniel to perform the experimental
surgery on Bo. Daniel is unwilling to perform the surgery. At the
hospital, Victor and John meet up. A greedy John brags about his plan
to control the docks.
Wednesday, March 12: Daniel, Lexie, and Kayla analyze donor samples
in search of a match for Bo. Daniel believes the experimental surgery
may possibly kill Bo. Hope encourages Bo to hang on and not give up.
Steve makes his wife take a break from the hospital. Nick encounters
Max at the docks. Marlena is disgusted with her husband.
Thursday, March 13: Bo prepares for his death and asks Steve to take
care of his family. Bo asks Shawn to take care of Hope. Shawn
encourages Bo to get better so he, Belle, and Claire can sail around
the world. Ava visits a shrink, who questions her sense of reality.
Ava looks at photos of Steve and Hope together. Steve and Kayla
reaffirm their belief together in miracles. Daniel and Lexie
miraculously find a donor match for Bo.
Friday, March 14: Daniel, Lexie, and Kayla ask Shawn to gather the
family to inform them that a match for Bo has been found. Kayla
reveals that Chelsea is Bo's donor match. The Brady family begins a
desperate search for Chelsea. At the Cheatin' Heart, Chelsea drowns
her sorrows over the family's recent tragedies. Kate tries to stop
Chelsea from drinking. Mike O'Hearn guest stars as the bartender who
offers Chelsea some coffee to sober her up. Chelsea storms out of the
bar. Shawn and Belle arrive at the Cheatin' Heart searching for
Chelsea, but the bartender tells them to get in touch with Kate.
Additional Spoilers: Daniel rushes Chelsea to the hospital after she
passes out.

news that Noah and Paloma and Kay and Miguel's double wedding is back
on track. Ethan and Gwen celebrate the start of their new life
together. Gwen's plans are ruined when Ethan announces he wants to
adopt Little Ethan as his own. As Noah, Paloma, Fancy and Luis argue
over yet another misunderstanding, Pretty watches from the shadows,
the controlling device in her hand, plotting her next deadly move to
keep Fancy and Luis apart.

order to warn him of John's plans. Philip wants to stick to the

Ava is furious and wants Steve, Bo, Hope and Kayla killed. Ava
decides that everyone will stay put until the baby is born; she will
keep the baby as repayment for what they've done. Steve tells Ava she
can have him as long as she lets the others go. Steve says he'll have
sex with her right now, but she has to realize he's still very much
in love with his wife. Bo manages to untie himself and knock out the
guards. Bo and Hope grab their guns and rush to Ava's room. Abe and
Roman show up and arrest Ava. A mystery man abducts Stephanie from
the pub. Sami refuses to allow EJ to spend time with the twins if he
represents Nicole. Chelsea has a crush on Daniel. John tells Paul he
will repair Paul's soiled reputation and use him against the Kiriakis
clan. Stephanie and Max admit they love each another. Returning from
her trip, Marlena tells John she's going to find a way to get him
back. Nicole tells Chloe that Victor knows where Brady is and has
known all along.

fallopian tubes and she will never be able to have children. The
Vitali thug forces Stephanie out of the pub at knifepoint. As the
goon threatens to kill Stephanie, Max shows up and talks the guy
down. Sirens are heard and the goon runs off. Stephanie and Max make
love for the first time. Nicole tells Chloe that Victor sent Brady to
a rehab clinic in Switzerland for drug addition. Sami and EJ prepare
for EJ's immigration hearing. They'll be forced to answer personal
questions about each another in order to convince the immigration
agent they are truly in love.

screams when she overhears Fancy accepting Luis' marriage proposal.
Luis takes Fancy away on a romantic flight. Before they take off,
Pretty drugs the pilot, willing to kill them all instead of losing
Luis to her sister. Julian is unable to sleep, forever haunted by the
loss of his penis. Vincent is shocked when his water breaks, and he
goes into labor. Julian is stunned as he sees Vincent on the Russell
kitchen table about to give birth. Eve finally explains to Julian the
whole story about Vincent and Valerie. Just as Theresa is about to
reveal herself to Ethan, she learns that Juanita has escaped from
jail and is still a threat. Ethan and Gwen have discovered Gertrude
in the bathroom of the romantically decorated bedroom. Gwen demands
to know why Gertrude is trying to seduce Gwen's husband.

Intrigue, drama, and surprises -- three things every soap fan wants
from their favorite show. But the drama is supposed to play out on
the screen not behind-the-scenes. In a move that is said to be in
the "best interest" of the show, Days of our Lives has dismissed co-
executive producer Ed Scott amid reports that Scott had been
rewriting the show's storylines and dialogue without permission.

Edward J. Scott has been relieved of his duties as co-executive
producer of Days of our Lives. His dismissal, which a setside source
tells soapcentral.com came as "a complete blindside," is the
culmination of several weeks of behind-the-scenes turmoil. The
dissent among the show's execs had more drama than what DAYS fans
were seeing on-screen-and that may have been part of the problem.

Last month, soapcentral.com first reported on the friction between
Scott and Days of our Lives' head writer, Dena Higley. According to
an insider, Scott had been rewriting much, if not all, of Higley's
work. The insider went on to say that Scott was actually encouraging
some of the show's talent to rewrite their own dialogue. While it may
not seem like a big deal for a television show's head honcho to tweak
story, the Writers Guild of America thinks it's a very big deal. The
WGA, whose members walked the picket lines earlier this year, has an
agreement with the producers' union that bars a show from fudging a
union member's work.

The WGA has been investigating Higley's claims, claims that are said
to come with indisputable proof of Scott's tinkering. There is irony
in the WGA's involvement in the situation. Higley was blacklisted as
a "scab" earlier this year by the Guild for having worked during the
WGA's work stoppage.

DAYS executive producer, Ken Corday, is said to be a strong backer of
Higley, but the decision to oust Scott is not seen as a move to make
nice with Higley. Corday had no other choice but to fire Scott. If
any wrongdoing is found during the WGA investigation, DAYS could face
some serious fines-not the kind of thing a financially strapped show
needs. It is unclear if Corday's decision to oust Scott could appease
the Guild and convince it to forgo the heavy fines. Meanwhile, with
Scott out, Days of our Lives is set to announce a replacement co-
executive producer. Gary Tomlin, the Emmy-winning former executive
producer of ABC's One Life to Live, will fill Scott's old slot with
the show.

"I have decided that it's in the best interest of the show's future
to make this change in order to improve DAYS both visually and
emotionally," said Ken Corday, Executive Producer. "We at DAYS are
grateful to Ed Scott for all of his contributions and amazing energy
over the past year. Gary Tomlin brings a long successful history of
being an actor's producer and a writer's producer to our cast and
crew and I know the viewers will see the immediate results of this
change for the better."

Tomlin has an extensive history with daytime television. His first
foray into the soap world was as an actor; he appeared as Bruce
Carson on Search for Tomorrow. He then transitioned to the behind-the-
scenes world. He has worked as a director on Passions, a director at
One Life to Live from 1992 to 1995, the executive producer of One
Life to Live from 2001 to 2003, and he has held the role of head
writer for Sunset Beach and Another World. This is not the first time
that Tomlin will be associated with Days of our Lives. From 1980 to
1981, Tomlin helped steer life in Salem as the show's co-head writer.
Most recently, Tomlin worked as head writer of One Life to Live
during the writers' strike.

Stephanie flirts with a guard in the French jail and manages to get a
cell phone. She learns that Nick is in town. Meanwhile, Nick finds
Melanie and approaches her. He learns Max and Stephanie are in jail
and persuades Melanie to take him to the police station. But what he
wants to know is why Melanie left Max and Stephanie in jail in the
first place? Trent runs into Nicole and tells her to get more info on
Max and Stephanie. He also tells her about his daughter, Melanie.
Lucas tells Sami he's taking Allie and leaving. Mickey agrees that
Lucas has a decent case. Sami is distraught over the prospect of
losing her daughter and Stefano retaliating against her mother. EJ
promises to protect her and the twins
