Hi and welcome to the NOTG list. Frankly we had hoped to hear an
announcement by now as to when NBC-Uni would release the first season
of NOTG to DVD. Several titles from the later NBC Mystery Movie series
have been released so far, such as Columbo, McCloud, and McMillan, but
the series which gave the initial push for the 90-minute mystery format
(NOTG), has yet to see an official release.

The DVD release of Spielberg's "Duel" includes some extras including
clips from "L.A. 2017," which was a hopeful sign, but so far no
announcement. Have the NBC Mystery Movie DVD titles been selling
well? I don't know. I have heard that they do not plan to release any
further seasons of "Night Gallery" to DVD because sales of the first
season set were less than expected.

Some NOTG eps are available, including LA 2017 and The Black Answer. A
few are more multigenerational than others. Those interested should
