[Dec 1, 1968] Ivan Dixon has been signed by producer Leslie Stevens for
the title role of "The Incomparable Connie Walker," a Tony Franciosa
starring segment of The Name of the Game. Dixon will portray the
fighting Negro mayor of a large city, and the episode will serve as the
basis for a possible series on NBC...
