This is quite correct. Quinn Martin went as far as reusing
Domenic Frontiere's first season OL cues in the last season
of "The Fugitive" (1966-67) and the Invaders pilot. The final 6 or 7
Fugutive episodes used a LOT of OL cues, especially the "Allen &
Yvette" theme from "Architects of Fear".

The pilot to the Invaders, "Beachead" is my personal fave.
The first 15 minutes or so is non-stop OL music. A lot from
"The Forms Of Things Unknown" score. Truly eerie...
