I can't imagine that it would be as good without her - who will take charge?
Carl will not be serious enough.

Hi

I’ve been keeping an eye on this one as well. I follow Karl’s Twitter feed ( @MrkarlBeattie ) and there was a whole list of Tweets from him a few nights ago. Yvette is getting very busy with other Antix productions, but according to Karl she will still be involved in MH Live events.

Hi Geiff

I finally got round to looking and it is good.  I've not used Google Earth before - it is amaxing to see the places.  I hadn't realized that MH had done an investigation about three hundred yards from where I live.

Thanks.

Hi, I see where your coming from regarding Most Haunted and Ciaran because up until lately my view on him and the fact I believe he wouldn't fake things and risk his reputation is the same as yours.  The problem for me now is my opinion of him is on a more shaky ground than previously,as I have the  feeling in regard to the last live event that Ciaran may have just dug his own grave in the minds of people who like me have always had a very high regard of him and his work.

If  it turns out to be that Ciaran has thrown in his lot with the rest of them in the name of mindless entertainment, then that is very sad. Please don't get me wrong because I hope thats not the case, but even so it has spoilt my enjoyment of the show and I watch the show now with a higher rate of scepticism to anything they do,especially after the dreadful live event we were given over Halloween. Those experiments were the Pitts but the hanging went to far. Its OK for scientists and Ciran to bleat on Singapore experiments but this theory they have on recreating the past cant just be used to pick and choose the bits they want to in the name of entertainment. That hanging with Carl on the end of the rope would only be scientific if the full event was recreated and Carl was literally hung and neck broken. Now no one on this earth is going to do that and they just went to far with it and it made it look sick and desperate, prob not the effect Living and Karl had in mind.

If I was Cerian I would go the way that David Wells went and quick style. If he doesn't it will be to late for him to rescue his reputation, and he will end up a has been the same as the others.

The show needs a hatchet man and quick, because looking on the Internet and other media outlets I am shocked that so many folk are not just thinking it but saying it out loud. Even die hard fans which is what I was until season 10,know its not worth the problem even trying to defend and have reason for what they did.

The Tesla experiment was quite compelling, because it showed Ciaran at his most terrified - and he created the experiment himself, but not quite sure what it set out to prove.

They always talk about "hitting the place pretty hard" but they only ever seem to investigate the place for two or three hours, particularly as investigating the paranormal always seems to come secondary to their plumbing jobs. I notice they came in for some criticism after investigating one place which was full of haunted gimmicks - faces in the mirror, mechanical moving light fittings, speakers playing voices, because they hadn't done enough investigations to discover that this was an attraction of the location itself and should have looked into the evidence besides that. I'm not saying that they fix things neither though, just

I'd love to see a Most Haunted follow-up programme about what they've discovered since the investigation. What kind of evidence Ciaran has found, etc.

I think that the sound experiments are good - thee have been instances of
strange noises being caught on them.

I missed Yvette and Paul O'Grady - I forgot about it. I wonder if it is
repeated.

work until you try it. One day they might stumble on the key to the whole ghost

Geoff don't forget the inbetween time they are working. Just b/c they
are investingating for a tv show doesn't mean they are not doing their
job. There are probably alot of cases we don't see that they do. I
talk to alot of ghosthunters and they do exactly what they do. Help
people understand the fears or see that it is a real haunt in their
homes. Most of the haunts they find sometime isn't haunts at all. Most
of them are & some are friendly sometimes. They only collect evidence
for science & thats it. Nothing more. They try to caught evidence on
evp, measure & record the electrical magnetic fields, (Which I wish
they would keep cameras away from the k2s) and write what they find
also through reviews and stuff. They even talk among their self about
what they did the next day. Most do history background just incase the
talk of hauntings are history also. I learned from watch a show about
one tool they don't use as much but learning about it I wish they
would use it. A compass is a great tool to find emfs too. Instead of
it going the regular way to tell directions it will spin wildly
backward fast to tell that there is emfs in the room. If you got a
compass try holding it to a television set and you will see the fast
backwards spin from the emfs that the television gives off. They do
sometimes get into science as much as possible but maybe we don't see
as much as that off camera. As for faking evidence. If they did that
they are not a credible group to work with then. But I haven't seen
anything fake as of yet from GH or ghostlabs as of yet. MH its a great
show but they still don't need a oujai board to talk to spirits. They
talk when responded to before. If they don't so be it. If I was a
ghost I would make the squirm trying to get me to talk lol. Also there
are alot of unknown out there we don't know about either. <shrugs> It
like Josh Gates from Destitnation Truth said, You use your own
judgement or opionion on stuff & decide for yourself on what you
believe and that all. No one need to convince you othewise on anything
else. B/c its your choice, no one elses.

I have to say I'm very interested in Yvettes theory on high frequency sound, makes sense to me. Anyone else?
I've just been watching Yvette and Paul O'Grady which is very funny.
I downloaded the Ghost Hunters Halloween special and it was awful. The top 5 shows re run again and then a bit of investigation at the scariest place they went to last time...and they found the same things. Most Haunted was much better (in my opinion). I'm always amazed at how quickly Y and K get reponses , banging and tapping. I hope they do more experiments....you never know if it's going to work until you try it. One day they might stumble on the key to the whole ghost interaction thing.

Just look at us all sitting in our living rooms letting someone else get the pants scared of themselves!
I'm coming back to live in the UK in June and I'm looking forward to getting more involved myself.

Love and good karma,

I can see what people are saying but I think that any paranormal programmes out there (including Ghost Hunters) have the potential to *fix* things. I admit, I'm a bit sceptical about when Karl and Stuart are left alone personally, but when evidence is captured that even Ciaran has problems explaining, then I'm satisfied. Ciaran wouldn't damage his own personal reputation by being involved in faking things.

I'm still working through the last run of lives because I wasn't able to watch them all live on Halloween night and because of my work shifts I've only been able to watch them on days off. I'm still only watching night seven (as I type, actually), and this one has been very very compelling. Personal experiences so bad that they had to call in Lancaster paramedics? The Tesla experiment was quite compelling, because it showed Ciaran at his most terrified - and he created the experiment himself, but not quite sure what it set out to prove.

I would like them to do more of the experiments that Ghost Hunters carry out and get some of their equipment (that light meter they use - V3 is it? - looks like something that Most Haunted, or at least Ciaran and Yvette, would love). Although I'm always a bit unsure of how committed to how long Ghost Hunters spend at a location. I'm not saying that they fix things neither though, just maybe that they're not as thorough as other TV shows. MH spends 24 hours at each location, and the one thing I think lets them down is that there's no post-investigation round-up. I'd love to see a Most Haunted follow-up programme about what they've discovered since the investigation. What kind of evidence Ciaran has found, etc.

Geoff

Yes I have to agree as well. The live events were to me are spoilt with the stunts like the hanging and all the seances they are a waste of time. I think the programme should go back to the investigations that they used to do. I also think the screaming from both the ladies is false. They have been doing the shows for years and they should be more down to earth when doing the vigils. There is another show called Ghost Hunters  which seems to be more down-to-earth in their approach to the investigations in which the are involved with. I have also seen a show called Ghost Hunt which is from New Zealand which has only has a team of 3 investigators and both shows find more evidence and happenings than Most Haunted did in the entire 8 days the live event was on.
So come on Most Haunted you were the first TV show of its kind, don't fall behind and get back to doing the real investigations.

I am never quite sure what to think.  I did not like the show when Derek Acorah was in it because I felt he was false and untruthful.  I really liked David Wells.  The new ones are probably doing the best they can.  I enjoy the input of the historian and the demonologist.  I like the interactive parts.

I think Yvette is sincere.  I think Carl and Stuart are behaving in this situation the same as they would in other situations - it is just their character.

The Tesla experiment and the hanging had no valid reason for happening as far as I can see, but I can understand that Yvette and Carl feel that maybe a bit of showmanship would keep people interested (mistakenly) .

I too couldn't hear the noises they mentioned, and there was no further mention of the slight image caught on camera.  I have often wondered if these things are included on the dvds (which I don't possess).

I would prefer more of the camera focussed outwards away from the group of investigators so that we could see more of what may happen.  I would prefer it if there was less talk and noise so that we might just hear anything that happens.

IMO the show has many annoying aspects, but I still enjoy it.  Wouldn't it be great if they got something definite on film?

Hi all,
I recently joined the group but have been a fan of Most Haunted for years now. I cant say that I am very happy with the recent live show and I say it with a sinking heart, but I must speak facts. The level of sincerity in the programme is at an all time low and I have to say that I can now understand the reason for David Wells making a sharp exit. He will know all about sinking ships having been in the navy at one point and I give him full credit for having principles and not just looking at pound signs, which is what appears to be the problem with the other members of the team. At one point it was a genuine show and yes things were always played up a bit for entertainment but now the show is a complete farce.
I know some of you may not agree with that but its sadly an opinion I never thought I would have to voice.
The since they started doing at the start of the Halloween show was just silly and I never heard the so called noises they were picking up on. The hanging had no point to it at all and was like a con to the viewers who had been building for something big to happen all week by listening to Paul Ross big send up,which turned out to be absolute dribble.
I don't know where they will be going to in the next Live they do in January,if in fact they end up doing one.
It will have to be something or somewhere real special if I am to watch it longer than the first night. A good place to go would be either back to Pendle Hill itself (which they should have included this time)or to a place like The Tower Of London,if they could swing it to get permission. That would be an ace location and if they did it with sincerity might make them regain favour after the last sad live event last week.
Does anyone else agree on what I have said???? Come on you die hard fans its time to spill what you think.    From Caroline Watson

I was looking at the website of a local theatre here in Ireland and saw that Yvette, Karl and the crew are bringing a show there next year.
I presume it will be on in the UK as well.

There was no further mention of the image caught on camera. Maybe on further
inspection it became obvious it wasn't supernatural. Oh well. Maybe they'll
get something eventually.

I enjoyed the Live shows, and found them more serious than usual (apart from the
'experiments' which I feel were just showmanship - probably no reason to think
they would increase spirit energy. Does anyone agree/disagree?

There is another MH Live in January. I wonder where they will go then!

It was very good. I have the last two (or three) to watch yet.

I think Ciaran is okay too.

It is good to see Phil Wyman again.

I'm having trouble not laughing at the new historian... he looks like the guy from Little Britian who works for the Prime Minister (Anthony Head) and is in love with him...I keep expecting him to do an impresion.
Actually I've had a weird moment. I was watching the download earlier while my kids were upstairs playing. At 7 o clock I paused the download, went up to run a bath for my youngest then came down 10 minutes later and my clock read 10 o clock! Now it looks as if the program will finish playing at 10...is something going to happen then?  I've switched the lights on just in case.
I'm still on night one.

Can I just point out two thing, based on the comments of wasted time. Yea I
agree there is some wasted times, but Its alot better than before as it used to
have alot of studio and interactive talk, especially interactive. The other
point is, yes again some of it was wasted but alot is necessary as its time out
when something is not happening, or something happens like a faint or injury
which is not worth showing, or they moving between locations. We want to know
other things, but it would be good if more on vigil and less face, wide shots
are better. .

Regarding Adverts remember its not Living TV thats benifiting from the adverts,
its karls tv company thats making MH, and they have to pay for building,
utilities, insurance, wages etc.but seems more this year which is due to being
shown in america.

Regarding the show, been a good one this year and the words experiment is good,
one thing that was not mentiond was if they could hear consiously, how would all
spell the same word at same time. Good vigils, just think better if they did
photography and also less inthe face, or fill cam with pearson - show wide shots
like ghost hunters
