You're right. I should've parked at the Sunset 5 and
walked. But I also wasn't really in the mood. Don't
get me wrong, I'm upset I missed it now but Tuesday
night I just drove there on instinct and gave up to
easily.
Girlfriend issues, that's all I'll say. I went to my
friend's softball game instead cause I didn't want to
be without friends. I guess it's like ditching prom
to go racing. Feig might understand.
I'm not totally bummed. Leslie, the girl, is a big
fan of Apatow which makes me a big fan of Apatow. I'm
sure he'll be at more events. I'm bummed I missed him
at the Knitting Factory when he was showing his never
picked up pilot.
I know I'll meet him one of these days. Paul Feig
too. Mike White, although I haven't ever met him,
I've had 3 random sitings. Twice on the Fox lot and
once outside the ArcLight. I'm sure I'll get a formal
introduction someday or something. Martin Starr, I
met him last summer at the PGL2 wrap party. We were
gonna get beers later on but never did. If his
number's still the same, I'll give him a call or
something.
The thing is, in Chicago, if there was ever an event,
I would move worlds around so I can make it and most
of the time it wasn't even worth it. I don't want to
be that person anymore. Of course F&G isn't the event
that I wanted to start about not caring. It's just I
was so not in the mood that night but do regret it
now.
Of course I

If you wanna post about what happened, what the guys
talked about and stuff, that'd be cool. When did you
get in? I must've driven past around 750 or something
and there were still lines outside the store. No
parking there, no parking behind the Tower DVD store.
Drove up Holloway looking for parking and that's when
I gave up. Didn't even consider the Sunset 5. Darn.
