Re: 1978 Tiswas audio tape

Hello,

Been away for a week with no internet access, so I've only just seen
your message. Really excited!

Over the last year I've been in touch with about ten extremely
dedicated collectors of old programmes, including Tiswas - so I think
I know what's currently doing the rounds, and the answer is: not a
lot! The earliest fragment of a Tiswas episode that I've seen is from
1979. So you have something EXTREMELY rare.

Could I have it on CD? Please, please. Be your best friend. Happy to
show you my list.

I am drooling while I am typing. Yes, I used to record Tiswas on
audiotape as well. Wish I still had my tapes...

Andrew

You're quite right - the tape was recorded with a mike off TV straight on to a cassette recorder. The sad thing is that I had a further hour of this show on...
