Does anyone have the pilot eps of Matlock? It's called Diary of a
Perfect Murder. I'm trying to make a set of the series on DVD. I've
believe I have most of the eps except for the pilot. It was just on the
WB Monday-1/09/2006 & Tuesday-1/10/2006, but I missed it. E-mail me at

Pretty weird - but at least Michelle isn't Ben's daughter! I never saw the

strange that she comes onto Ben in this episode and then appears as his
daughter later on in the series.

Also, in another one of Ben's dreams, Leanne plays a nightclub singer

On a similar note,Michelle comes onto Ben in another episode.  It was
the episode where Ben falls asleep on the couch and dreams about living
n the days of the wild, wild west.

That episode was in the last season, so we don't really know what happened
to Ben and Julie. But we can choose to believe... :)

You might try ebay. They usually have Matlock cast photos. Also, imdb.com is
a good source of information on actors. I don't know of any fan sites.

I saw that, too! She did a good job. And the actress who played Charlene was
on a Cold Case last year (I think, but it might have been earlier this

You are right except for Matlock's first daughter
Charlene. It was mentioned that she opened her own law
firm somewhere (i think LA) and left Matlock. That is
the reason why Ben hired Michele Thomas.

Like you, I don't know of any explanation for Conrad, Tyler, or Leanne, but
there was an explanation for Charlene. In the second season (I think the
episode is "The Mother"), Matlock says she went to practice law in
Philadelphia.
