With only a couple of days to go, we're well and truly into the countdown to our
big annual online chat. The MacGyver Cyber-meet is the once a year event where
ALL MacGyver fans can gather online in the same place at the same time in
celebration of the original air-date of the pilot episode - September 29th.

The online event is run through MacGyver Online's chat room which you can access
from our "Cybermeet page" at http://cybermeet.macgyveronline.com  where you can
also find out more information about the event as well as other ways you can
connect to our online chat on the day.

If you haven't already done so, we strongly advise people to pay a quick visit
to the page to make sure the chat page loads and works on your computer. We've
found in the past that some people have had problems with security settings on
their computer stopping the page from working correctly; These are simple things
to fix, but can take a little bit of time to work through the options which can
cause these issues, so we do advise everyone to make a quick visit to the page
and log into the chat room just to make sure it's working for them. And of
coarse if there is a problem, contact us via the link at the bottom of the page.

We hope you're all able to come along and help make this a great fun event for
MacGyver fans the world over.

That time of year is fast approaching again folks.

On the 29th of September (the original air date of the first MacGyver episode)
we will be holding our annual 24 hour `Cyber-meet' in the MacGyver Online Chat
Room.

Any and all MacGyver fans are invited to come along to our chat room any time
during the 24 hour period and help us celebrate the birthday of our favorite TV
show. It's the one time in the year when all the MacGyver fans in the world can
be in the same place at the same time and chat to each other. So mark it down in
your calendars.

According to reports coming from The Hollywood Reporter, Lorne Michaels has

Youtube have launched their new TV shows channel, with a host of new and old TV shows, including MacGyver

It appears that like other free-view sites, there is the occasional episode missing from the seasons play lists, hopefully in time these missing episodes will be made available.

The word is that YouTube has signed agreements to distribute content from Sony, Lions Gate, CBS, MGM, and more, so it looks like the selection of shows will keep growing.

As with other free-to-view sites, these videos are only available to watch in the US.

According to a news report from The Hollywood Reporter, the 80's icon,
MacGyver is set to be made into a feature film.

Raffaella De Laurentiis, daughter of Dino De Laurentiis, is producing
the film through her Raffaella Prods. company along with Martha De
Laurentiis and series creator Lee Zlotoff and Dino De Laurentiis as exec
producer and will be released through New Line Cinema.

There is currently no script or writer for the film, but the studio
hopes to find a script which will do justice to the shows iconic status.

MacGyverOnline has just launched it's new video center and YouTube
channel.

The YouTube channel has a selection of interesting MacGyver related
interviews, news and miscellaneous clips which have been recorded over
the years, these videos are all taken from the new video center, which
now uses the same technology as Youtube to provide streaming high
quality video right to your computer.

The old videos have been converted to higher quality and a host of new
video clips have been added to give you a unique insight into Richard
Dean Anderson's "MacGyver years". During those years RDA was a
frequent guest on the Talk show circuit and we have those interviews
