IS there a new lady in the life of spin bowling legend
Shane Warne?

While Warne has recently been photographed on holiday
with his former wife Simone, he was yesterday seen at
St Kilda's Luna Park with a bride to be -- Kath &
Kim's Sharon Strezlecki.
Warne was filming a guest role in the new series of
hit sitcom Kath & Kim. And security was tighter than
at a real-life celebrity wedding, with Magda Szubanski
(who plays pash-rash victim Sharon) being shielded
from onlookers by umbrella-carrying members of the TV
crew.

The sitcom is in production but has yet to be sold to
a local network.

Kath & Kim's legal obligations to the ABC have expired
and executive producer Rick McKenna has been gauging
interest in the show from the three commercial
channels.

While they are on the open market, there's still a
chance the foxy ladies from Fountain Lakes will stay
with the ABC.

The sitcom stars Jane Turner as Kath, Gina Riley as
Kim and Peter Rowsthorn as Kim's hapless husband,
Brett. Turner and Riley, who are key writers of the
sitcom, have already filmed scenes with Matt Lucas,
best known as a star of the comedy Little Britain.

We may not know where and when the new season will
screen until after filming on this fourth season is
complete.

"The negotiations are complicated," a network source
said.

"It's not just the sale of this season that's being
negotiated: it involves what has been produced in the
past as well."

US TV network NBC is moving ahead with its plan to
make an American version of Kath & Kim.

The pilot episode, to be shot in mid-July, is set to
screen in the US late this year or next year.
