I was finally able to get hold of the Howard Lee paperbacks of KWAI CHANG CAINE-MASTER OF KUNG FU recently, all four novels. They are actually quite good, much better than expected, and Lee put a good deal of thought into them to flesh out Caine's character in print. If you can get inexpensive editions of them in old books stores, do so.

They are worth a look.
