There once was a lady named Peri,
Who made all her onlookers merry.
With her buxom attire
she fanned the desire
of various monsters scary.
The stranded warrior, Linx
was caught up in medieval hijinks.
On a temporal theme
he concocted a scheme
a tad too convoluted methinks.

Subject: [Kiwi Fans of Doctor Who] Limerick Competition
The man who invented the Dalek
Also wrote the story of Yartek.
He had no eye-stalk,
But instead a camp walk,
And a silly-looking rubbery neck.
If you're a regular reader of Doctor Who Magazine you might recall
former columnist "The Watcher" had a limerick competition where he
enticed readers to submit Doctor Who themed limericks. To try and
entice members to use the message board a bit more, I thought it might
be fun if we did something similar. Pretty much all you need to do is
submit one limerick (or more) as a post to the message board. There
are two minor restrictions: 1) it must be about an aspect of Doctor
Who; 2) it can be about any aspect of Doctor Who that you like.
The above is my first entry but I plan to come up with some more later
on. Your entries must be posted by 31 January, 2008 (cut-off time will
be midnight). Good luck!
