My computer at home is old and useless, I cannot play DVD's on it or
else I would try and make some screenshots and add them to the photo
album. I have a friend who might be able to do this for me, so I'll

Rutherford. Can anyone name other TV shows she's been in? (Hint: One
of them was a western)

Who was your favorite character and why (brief description - can be
lengthy if you really want)?

My favorite character is of course Julian. Mark Frankel was very good
looking and that added with the character being a "vampire" made
Julian very sexy. He also had incredible power and "The Prince" of
the Kindred. Power is not always a good thing, but with Julian it
suited him well.

(Maybe this will get something going, sorry it took so long to get
this up)

Any one else have the DVDs or videos? I could start some trivia.

This club has been dead for too long. I am going to try to get
somethings started to get us talking again. If anyone has any ideas

My first idea is to see if I can get somethings off the DVD's, maybe

As far as the freak motorcycle accident, I believe it happened after
the cancellation was publicly announced.
I'd love to see Kindred back on the air, but I think they would have
a really hard time replacing Mark.
He had such a wonderful presence about him.
I'm not just talking about looks, but that definately added to it!
He was a wonderful actor, and I know he's sadly missed.

    I agree, he will always be Julian Luna...

I remember the series finale. Then that summer in England he
dies. In a odd sort of way he will always be Julian Luna. Sexy, good
looking and sadly forever young.
      I wish they would at least have tried to bring it back. The
finale was not series ending it was just season ending. There were 3-
4 plots left hanging.Wonder if they will ever try?

The reason I think it was cancelled is that Mark
Frankel was killed in a motorcycle accident.

I didn't find this out until years later and it was
shocked.  Julian is my favorite character and I think
that instead of replacing Mark they decided to cancel
the show.

I have the tapes too.

It's pretty quite here, but with any luck it won't stay that way.
This was one of my favorite shows, and I wish they wouldn't have
cancelled it.  I've got the complete series on video, and just can't
understand why the network was so hasty.  Perhaps, if they would have
promoted it better, it would have stood a chance.

The same thing has happened to a show on UPN called 'Wolf Lake'.
From what I understand, it has some of the same creative talent
involved as 'Kindred' did.  This is another show that wasn't given
much of a chance.  If you're interested in trying to save it, please

   A friend of mine on another group found out that Yahoo did a sneaky
thing to everyone's Marketing Preferences.
The result will be load of spam.

   Here's what you might want to do:

>  Go to My Groups
>  click on Account Info
>  verify your password (if it asks)
>  your Yahoo ID card comes up
>  Click on 'Edit your Marketing Preferences'
>  change all those Yes's back to No's!
>  Click 'Save Changes'

Did you know you can get it on Video and I think DVD, although I'm
not sure on DVD?  I have the tapes and it was so great to be able to
go back and watch it again.

I was really happy when Eddie got killed too. I couldn't stand him or Lillie.

I loved Mark Frankel. He was a very Sexy Man to
play the prince of the city. I wish they would have
been able to finish the series the right way instead
of stopping in the middle of the series. Cause I

Artemis, I have been a fan of Kindred ever since
it came out. I can't say that I like any of the
Brujah which is what Cameron was. But I can tell you
that I love Julian Luna and always will. Yeah the
others that I liked were Sasha(forced being a Brujah
doesn't put anything against her in my book), Cash, and
Frank. But my love will always be Julian

Hi!<br><br>My nick is Artemis. I'm still a newbie
to Kindred (found an episode guide about it around a
month ago) but I love the show already. <br><br>I'm
just writing my first Kindred FanFic. Usually I'm
writing Buffy, Angel, Farscape, First Wave and Star Trek.
Although I love all Kindreds, Julian, Sasha, Frank and

The Kindred DVD is 2 discs with the 8 episodes that aired on tv. Mark Frankel
