Sorry to say, I was informed today that quite a few of my wallpapers
are in copyright violation, and they need to be removed from
Renderosity.com.

This was part of the letter I received from them...
"The problem is with anything you haven't created yourself, cut outs
are a good example, unlike a hand drawn or painted copy which is ok.
(I know this can be a very confusing issue!).
Giving things away free is the same as selling things if copyright is
involved, any form of distribution counts as a copyright violation.
...if any of your images contain copies of photos that you have cut &
pasted into the image they should really be removed."

If you have linked to any of the ones on Renderosity.com, you may
find that they no longer work.
I have saved all of the originals on the hard drive, so if there were
any of particular interest that you desire, please email me.
They will be removed from Renderosity.com today (8/2/02).
The same will hold true here. I don't want to cause any problems, so
I will remove the files from all the groups I belong to.
I don't think there's an issue if they're used for your personal use
only.
Again, sorry if this has caused any inconvenience to anyone.
