Are you a big BIG VALLEY FAN? Have you ever wished to be a Barkley
or one of the Barkley's girlfriends or Audra's boyfriend? I kind of
think it would be neat if Audra and Adam became a couple. I do want
to bring Victoria and Audra to the Ponderosa. So do you dream of
ridding the trail with Jarrod, Nick, Heath, Audra, Eugene or
Victoria?

Well, now here's your chance! I'm putting together a role-playing
story (RPS) for those of us who can't seem to get enough! Yep, you
read it right. You can be a gal or guy in love with a Barkley, or
you can be a Barkley. If you ever wanted to be a rancher and own a
large parcel of land, then here's your chance. All it takes is some
imagination and some writing. Only one Barkley has been taken so far
and that is by me. I'll be writing for Victoria.

I'll be taking only requests for characters on Feb. 15, so don't
send in your request before then. It's first come, first serve. So
those I receive first requesting a Barkley or an occupation will get
them. If you want to be the saloon owner or banker but not both put
what you want to be the most and then your second choice in case
someone requests it before you then hopefully you'll get one of the
occupations you want. Same goes for a Barkley. If you want Nick but
wouldn't mind writing for Heath then say you want Nick as your first
choice if he's not taken, and Heath for your second choice. That way
you might get one or the other.

So far, I know I'll be JB Curry, who becomes Nick's girlfriend. I'll
also be PJ and Byron, JB's sister and brother. I'm not sure what
other residents I'll be. I'm going to wait and see what we might
need, but hopefully there will be lots of characters. Some residents
you can become include saloon owner, saloon girls, dressmaker,
sheriff, deputy, blacksmith, store owner, ranchers, farmers, school
teacher, bank tellers, hotel owner, barber, doctor/dentist,
restaurant owner, preacher, lumber mill owner, chief logger,
loggers, waitresses, bartender, mine owners, and miners. Also there
will be a Pony Express Station, so you could be a Pony Express
Rider. You don't have to choose just one character either. You can
choose as many as you like, but remember the more characters you
have, then the more writing you will need to do.

This can really be fun if we have lots of participants. You have a
few weeks to figure out what part you want to play because like I
said before I'm not taking requests until Feb. 15. And then the
story won't begin until I have all the characters stats and summary.
So you have plenty of time to figure out the name, age, description,
love interest, if any, and summary -- which is how you became a
resident of the town -- of your character. If you want to have some
