This is a message that I hoped I would Never have to post... Tonight
4/16/04 Mr. Monty Laird ,Legend,Stuntman ,Actor & Mentor and friend
to a Great many people in the gunfighter stunt world passed away
after a short illness in Las Vegas Nevada. Monty was 74 and worked
with the great Crash Corrigan at Corriganville , on Alias Smith and
Jones , The Return of the AppleDumpling Gang, Universal Solger, and a
great many more film including AFI Training films. Monty a member of
the Calico Ghost Town Hall of Fame and was Stunt Saftey man there
since the Calico Gunfight Stunt Championships were first started in
1975. Monty was also a United States Veteran. Cards can be sent to

and piece of the Old W est History is gone and will be Truly Missed
By all who learned from him.
