As you all know am running the Pete Duel Memorial Club for Janet
Busell,
well she has this project she want to do and she want me to ask if any
of you would like to join her in her project?

Also I re-did the PDMC page Web Site take a look, I will be adding
more in the furture, and Janet will be sending more goodies for the
Web Site it's small now but it will be growing, as for Janet
Busell,she
been ill with cancer so it will take time for her to send more to add
to the site, because with her cancer she has good days and very bad
days.
Janet also love's hearing from Pete Fan's so if you get a chance send
her a letter if you don't have her address Email at
diamond3k@...

VIEWMASTER 3D STEREO REELS
Does anyone remember these wonderful 3D stereo reels, which you look
through on a Viewmaster Viewer? I'm not sure if they are available in
the UK or not (any UK fans please let me know if they are!) but they
are still on sale in the States. I bought one on my last trip to
America, many moons ago now, and bought some 3D stereo reels of
Yosemite National Park etc. It was a lovely souvenir to see pics of
Yosemite's beautiful canyons and lakes in 3D colour stereo - it was
just like actually being there again, as the beautiful scenery jumps
out at you!
The leaflet that came with it listed hundreds of other subjects
Viewmaster did including TV shows etc. I noticed 'BONANZA' was listed
but sadly no 'ALIAS SMITH & JONES'. It's been a dream of mine to see
ASJ on the stereo reels - to see Pete and Ben in 3D colour stereo. I
mentioned this to my friend Sandie Reed in America (Sandie is the
devoted fan who kindly paid for the special plaque to be placed on
Pete's Penfield home). Sandie has been working very hard to make my
dream a reality by contacting Viewmaster - and writing to 20 3D
companies that can transfer VHS tapes to reels. Sandie said one
company phoned with a promising prospect - and he can do the job. As
soon as I've more details I'll keep you all updated.
Viewmaster said they can do custom reels of ASJ, but only for larger
orders. So we need to send them a bulk order - the larger the prder
the cheaper the cost. Please choose which particular ASJ scenes you
would like to see on the reels and let Bev and I have your comments
on the message board. Many thanks! As soon as I get more details from
Sandie, I'll send Bev an update to let you all know what's happening.
So please let's have your feedback on the project. Many thanks!
Most importantly, we need to ensure a profit isn't being made from
Peter's name, so we must keep the reels among club members and online
fans only. The reels should be protected against being reproduced and
a profit being made. Sandie suggested the company draws up an
agreement on this, and signs it, to protect Pete's memory.
Once again. please let us have your feedback on the reels and let us
know which ASJ episode is your preference for the 3D stereo reels,
and which particular scenes are your favourites!
