Dear Southernwriter,<br> I forgot to respond to
your comment about how you think that judge Joe Brown
would have responded. I think that defining the recount
parameters is a very feasible and plausible guess as to how
judge Brown would have responded. Better than this mess
we had. It took them 5 weeks to figure the election
in this day and age. I didn't see any valid reason
for a manual recount. They did not prove that
counting machines were not working as they should. This is
just my opinion. <br><br>Have a nice day,<br>Angela
Dear Southerwriters,<br> Thank you for the link
to judge Joe Brown's page. It's not too flashy. lol
But what do you expect from a judge? <br> I tried to
take the poll that you posted, but I can't read the
text. <br><br><br>Have a nice evening,<br>Angela
What do you think judge Joe Brown would think
about the handling by both sides of the presidential
election the Florida ballot count issue? Has anyone heard
or seen any opinions of his made on this
subject?<br><br>Have a nice day,<br>Angela
I've been looking for judge Joe Brown's homepage URL, but I can't find it.
Could someone email his homepage URL?<br>Thanks!<br><br>Have a nice
evening,<br>Angela
Absolutely. And on my local channels they never
promote any court show, except for Judge Judy once or
twice in the middle of the night, and on a new channel
that has no actual sponsors, they'll use the same
"Power of Attorney" and "Judge Hatchett" ads to fill
time over and over and over ALL DAY, even DURING the
shows they are promoting!<br><br>They need to have ads
for court shows, especially JJB, that showcase the
case on the next episode. That will drive up ratings.
But still, Joe Brown has good ratings; he's the #2
court show behind Judge Judy and the #13 syndicated
show (which includes all genres, including game shows,
sitcom reruns and talk shows). He's not in danger of
cancellation.<br><br>As for his site, my opinion is that it'd be better
if it didn't use ASP (Evil Microsoft's Active Server
Pages scripting language), because ASP is a pain in
many browsers and loads extremely slow. And last time
I tried to vote on their online poll, it didn't
work due to a coding bug. the layout's good, but they
should stick to HTML and CGI.
His website is Awesome, everything a Judge Joe
Junkie could want.(lol)I guess, they decided to spend
the advertising dollars on the website instead of on
televison advertising.I'm not knocking the website, but it
would be nice to at least get a new opening for the
show.He is no longer a real Judge,he has retired from the
bench. He needs something fresh. His ratings will never go
up,unless they Promote him more.
According to a notice I found in a search engine
just now, there was a JJB Yahoo Chat back in March
2000 right after he announced he was going to retire
from the bench. You can read the transcript at
<a href=http://www.courttv.com/talk/chat_transcripts/Judgejoe.html
target=new>http://www.courttv.com/talk/chat_transcripts/Judgejoe.html</a> .
<br><br>This shows that he is willing to do a
chat and may do another one, but since he's already
done one, it could possibly be a little harder to get
him to come back and chat again. Let's hope we have
good luck.
I have been getting a number of emails from
Ultimate Judge Show Page users requesting Judge Joe Brown
gear--posters, T-shirts, sweaters, coffee mugs. But as far as I
know, there is no source of such branded merchandise,
and although I could theoretically upload JJB pics to
various online services such as cafepress.com , and sell
them from there, but that would likely result in my
getting sued. So does anyone here have ideas as to how
one might legally obtain such gear so I can give a
substantive reply to all these emails?
We have a LOT of things we need to do to get a
chat; but the first is that we get all ourselves and
all our "fellow fans" to request a Yahoo! Chat. I am
currently looking into which people over at Yahoo! could
influence such decisions and when I get more info on that,
I'll post it here. But it is certainly imperative that
this site gets more traffic and members. I'm not sure
if search engines would rank a Yahoo! Club highly on
their search results, but it is worth a shot. So try
submitting the URL of the club to your favorite search
engine--big or small--and maybe we'll get additional traffic.
I've done all I can do to influence this type of
thing. I have linked to it on my site and added it to
the Open Directory. Other than that, you can try to
recruit from other forums such as Delphi and TalkCity. Or
Usenet.<br><br>Once we get more memnbers and I find out who is in
charge of chat events booking we have a shot at getting
Joe to Yahoo!. After all, they hosted Judge Hatchett,
and she has far lower ratings than
JJB.<br><br>Finally, the more posts and discussion, the better, as
potential members would be more likely to join if the club
looks lively, so let's talk about the show!<br><br>I
haven't seen it yet in my area, but according to the JJB
site, it is about...<br>A woman alleges that her
ex-boyfriend swindled her with promises of a long-term
relationship.<br><br>As the Queen Latifah Show says, "Let's Talk About
It!"
Hey great Page southernwriter! I think you are
the ultimate Joe fan. Did you want to be a founder? I
am not an expert on Joe and I need people who can
promote the hell out of this wonderful man. What do you
think?
Hi Southernerwriters,I didn't know about the chat with Judge Hatchett.I'll bet
that was interesting.Hopefully Twonubeein will take your suggestion and ask
Yahoo to host a Judge Joe chat.
If so, you may want to vote in the NEW Judge
Mills Lane poll--about the new theme song where he is
fawned after by all these women half his age!<br><br>The
poll is
at<br><br><a

target=new>http://www.geocities.com/area51/Quadrant/5719/judgemillslane.html</a>\
<br><br>If you don't know the themes, they are on the site
as well.<br><br>By the way, did anyone attend the
Judge Hatchett chat last month? Maybe you should email
Yahoo! asking for them to host a Judge Joe Brown chat.
Welcome to the club! feel free to browse at the
picture of the wonderful judge. If you have any picture
feel free to post it in the picture section. We are
just getting past the usual doldrums in the lack of
posts but it is always super to have another fan in our
club. Once again, welcome to the clubs.
Hey, Ive been a fan of courtroom shows since I
was little!! I used to watch People's Court with
Wapner, Divorice Court, Superior Court and The Judge..!!!
Im sooo happy to see soo many new ones on! And my
absolute favorite is "judge joe brown". He is very fair,
and has alot of interesting people on...I could watch
it all day!! I mustve been a lawyer or a judge in a
past life! Anyways, thanks for making this club!!
Hi, My name is Rose and I'm a big fan of the
judge. My thoughts are the guys in here who like Joe's
attitude must have some sense of chivarly. I know this may
sound stewpid but I just wanted to say if anyone want
to chat you can e-mail me. I just need a co-pilot
when I see the judge cram everyone with his awesome
justice. By for now and Go Joe Brown!!!<br><br>Love ya
lots babe,<br>Rose<br>Rosiechanmaui@...
Thanks for that infor on him, maybe you should
share it with the rest of the board members.I do
believe they would love to hear it.And by the way is he
just as handsome in person as he is on the telly?
i just wanted to know if anyone else was having a
hard time posting on trevor's message bord i can't get
on it keeps saying that my ip# is banned what
for,i've e-mail trevor and he said that they didn't banned
me.
I guess the judge is really busy. His show is
just getting better and better because it is fashioned
like Judge Judy. He is more reasonable than Judy
(thats probably why he is #2) but he has found a niche
with his style. I hope he does come by this group
becuase he has a lot of loyal fan who wants to chat with
him.
Sorry about that, but I didn't think he wanted to read out dated messages too.I
hope the judge will stop by and let us know about a yahoo chat for our members.
Sorry for all of the messages being erased. There was a miscommunication between
the founders. We will start fresh and have some interesting
conversations.<br>Hank
