Hello,
I don't have ANY of season 2. I have been watching season 1
forever. Do you know how I could get my hands on at least a few
season 2 episodes?

Hello.
Does anyone have the 4th episode of Joe Schmo 2? I am missing this one
episode and would appreciate it if anyone would contact me if they
have it.
Thanks.
So what went down in the series finale?
...following directly on from last week's cliff-hanger, Tiffany
reveals her deciding vote to be for...Mick! Mick! Mick!
Streamers reign down as Mick jumps for joy. Sam claps with an awkward
smile on his face.
Then Mark tells everyone to stop - he is getting direction in his ear
piece.
The Network Executive (played by real-life exec Andrew Shaw) enters
the scene and whispers something in Mark's ear. The contestants all
look on eagerly.
"We have a problem," says Mark. "There is someone here who has
grossly broken the rules of the game - this person is not who they
claim to be. We have an impostor in the house. I would like that
person to own up. Who is the impostor?!"
After a sustained silence, Mick announces sheepishly "It's me. But I
won this fair and square. My name's Jason Fitch, I'm not a security
guard, I'm an actor."
"We're screwed! We can't put this to air now!" screams Mark.
"It's not fair," whines Jason. "They say actors can't go on these
things. Besides, I'm not the only actor here."
Sam perks up.
"Are you gonna own up?" he asks Rima.
"I'm not an actor," she says.
Sam is looking very confused.
Rima 'fesses up. She is an actor too. She also claims to not be the
only one.
"I want all the actors in the room to put they're hands up," she
demands. Slowly every single other contestant puts up their hands.
Even Ben, standing next to Sam raises his hand.
Sam wears a look of indescribable perplexity. Andrew Shaw looks on
from the corner.
"Ba...da...this is crazy!" he finally extols. Everyone claps for Sam.
Mark takes him by the shoulder.
"This is the one reality show where the only real thing in it is you!"
Sam is bewildered.
"Well, the prizes are real," Mark continues. "But because none of
them are real, the only real person has got to win them."
Sam looks stoked. As Mark rolls off the list of prizes Sam appears to
begin hyperventilating. Sam looks most excited when he learns about
the car.
The cast all proceed to introduce their real selves to Sam.
"I thought I was going insane there at one stage," says Sam. "This is
a crazy experience. This has been unbelievable and you guys are
incredible actors."
Sam then meets the crew of Living the Dream, who all applaud him.
Then he gets to check out his new dream car - the Ford Falcon SRX.
We then learn about how the show found Sam and we see his audition
footage. We see the actors rehearsing the entire show in the weeks
before filming.
The show was filmed in July, and Sam recently went back into the
studio to discuss the whole thing with Mark.
"When I watch it, it doesn't seem like me," he says. "I get
recognised a bit. My life hasn't really changed, I've just gone back
to work. Work's just the same."
Sam and Mark discuss the logistics of filming the show, and Sam
proves yet again just how much of a good sport he is.
Mark asks him what he would've done if he had figured it out.
"I don't know, I guess I would've talked to the production team."
Sam then refutes rumours that he clued on to the fakery early in the
piece.
Sam addresses the paradox of Mary the virgin always wearing skimpy
outfits.
Sam cracks up as he watches footage of some of the more extreme
moments in the house.
He admits to being perplexed by Mick always winning the immunity
challenges, and says that even though he voiced his want to quit, he
never would have.
They discuss Mark's bad behaviour, and Sam's disapproval of it.
Sam says that despite his oft-voiced concern about what his grandma
would think, she ended up very much enjoying the show.
Sam talks about liking the prizes.
"Not bad for two week's work," was his father's reaction to his new
car.
Sam's overall assessment is that it was a great experience, but he
wouldn't do it again.
"Once is enough, and we'll leave it at that" he says.
Sam Chambers. Reluctant star.
I am currently involved in a project that is getting ready to produce
a pilot episode very soon. It is a comedy/improv/skit/satire show
based out of Central Florida. As of now it appears that PBS is
prepared to put in the highest bid but someone may come in late to
swoop,we are slated for 15 season one episodes and are looking at a
December air date. The website is www.12ct.com (The show is called
Midnight Central). If anyone lives in Florida and can make it to
Downtown Disney, this saturday is our live appearance. It should be a
good time.
Rich Jones
Well, folks, you know I've been "lurking" at this other website for
weeks now, and it's amazing what's being said about the "Living the
Dream" show in New Zealand:
What happened on the last episode?
Following a detailed re-cap of the show up until this point, we are
reminded that Sam last week voted out Tiffany, with whom he had
become quite close.
"It was the hardest decision," he says in interviews. "I apologised
to her. It was pretty confusing - a very hard thing to do."
Sam and Ben discuss his vote in Sam's room. They didn't like
Tiffany's parting comment - "Bro's before Ho's".
Sam remains frustrated by Mick yet again winning immunity.
"We should burn that jacket," he says, referring to the immunity
cloak.
Decadence
The three remaining guys - Sam, Ben and Mick, come out dressed in
togas. They are to participate in a challenge where they must bite
into a hanging lamb carcass while handcuffed. Whoever can deposit the
most amount of gnawed meat into their bowl wins. Gross. Mick says it
was probably one of the most disgusting things he's ever done.
Ben wins with 574 grams. He wins "the latest in 4 wheel technology" -
a remote control car.
Special meal
At their "last supper" the boys are giving the special privilege of
eating off their special elimination plates. They discuss their most
memorable moments in the house.
Sam cites the moment Mary's fiancé turns up to find her handcuffed to
Sam in the spa pool.
Mick's is when he lost his temper upon being booted out.
Sam also talks about when Mary hurled the melon at Mark when she was
all mad at him.
Last day
Tonight, Sam will find out the truth about Living the Dream.
The various cast members discuss Sam's qualities as a person.
But has Sam already uncovered the truth? He noticed in his travel
documents that his hotel has been booked until the end of the show,
as if the production knew he would still be there at the end. He asks
Executive Producer Julie Christie about it.
"That's a mistake," she says hastily. Crisis averted. Maybe.
Final elimination
The cast members discuss their nervousness about Sam learning the
truth. Some are worried, some are excited.
When the final vote is about to occur, Mark re-introduces all the
eliminated contestants, who will decide the final winner.
The contestants all get to ask the final three a question. Plentiful
platitudes follow.
The final three find themselves justifying why they each should win,
and recalling some of the more extreme moments in the house.
The votes are not anonymous this time around - each person must hold
on to their's and read it out themselves.
Rima: She voted for Mick, because he never stopped playing the game.
Mary: She voted for Sam, because he was so nice to her.
Mule: He voted for Sam, because he's the only one he could trust.
Billy: He voted for Ben, because he made him laugh.
Betty: She voted for Mick, because he was the most real.
Tiffany: She says "payback time", then the image freezes and the
episode is "to be continued"!!!
Crikey!
On the next episode, screening October 12:
The result of the final voting is announced, but there appears to be
something wrong. Sam finally learns that the only real thing in this
reality show has been him, and his reaction stuns everyone.
"Invasion Iowa"
• What: William Shatner's movie turned out to be a hoax. Instead, the
townspeople were filmed for a reality series to air on Spike TV.
• When: The show, planned as an eight-week series, will be shown in
early 2005.
• Why Riverside? Shatner wanted a small town, and it is the home of
Trek Fest, an annual event in June that celebrates Shatner's "Star
Trek" character, Capt. James T. Kirk.
Well, a lot of stuff (sports, CSI:Miami, etc.), but in terms
of "reality television" (I assume this to be the question), I have
been watching:
AMISH IN THE CITY
TRADING SPACES
WIFE SWAP
And, as referenced here before, I keep reading the summaries for the
New Zealand version (apparently) of JS1 called, "LIVING THE DREAM".

Hi,
I have been reading articles of a practical joke that William Shatner
pulled on a small town believed to be the future birthplace of
Captain James T Kirk. This show will be shown on SpikeTV.
I was wondering if this is another Schmo show as its concept sounds
very similar ?
This is what Rhett promised about a month ago:
"The good news, at least for now: We're still trying to make more TV!
At least one miniature series is in the can (Spike TV, Tuesday nights
starting September 14th, 10 P.M., concept to be revealed soon!). Mark
your calendars!"
Today is the 14th and SpikeTV is showing this at 9PM
National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985)
What's up ????????????
The Hutch from JS1 can be seen on VH1 ALL ACCESS.

I would assume that their reactions are always different since they are not
actors. If Sam is always acting the same way Matt did then he must be an
actor too.?

From the latest on "Living the Dream":
Prize challenge
Mark comes out dressed up in a garish bee suit - as directed, he is
not happy with the costume at all.
This challenge involves two contestants, handcuffed together, being
covered in honey and rolling around in a pool full of money, hoping
the most money sticks to you. The couple with the most money get
Bosch home ware products, the couple with the least have to remain
handcuffed together.
Tiffany and Ben win - and by design, Sam and Mary the Virgin come
last, and must remain handcuffed together. "Crikey!" is Sam's
familiar response.
Mary is busted
Following the challenge, the contestants combat the terrible weather
by warming up in the spa pool. Mark comes in and announces a special
guest has arrived - it's Mary the Virgin's fiancé William! He comes
in playing a guitar and singing a song about his cupcake Mary.
She emerges from the spa to embrace him, but William is shocked that
she is wearing a bikini, and is handcuffed to Sam. He gets angry and
says he is leaving. Mary follows him inside, dragging Sam with her.
He exits the house angrily, leaving Mary "distraught", unable to exit
the house as she will forfeit the game.
Mark, still in the bee suit, consuls her sleazily, and takes her
upstairs. Everyone comments on this, and Sam runs upstairs to check
on them, thrilling the producers. Mark attempts to get rid of Sam,
but he doesn't. In interview, Victoria (who plays Mary), comments on
Sam's sweetness in trying to protect her.
The dinner game
Micks starts hassling Tiffany about her secret. "When we're you
gonna tell us about your porn star career," he inquires. He starts
miming sexual actions and groaning.
"Is this necessary at the table?" asks Sam. In interview, Sam says he
thinks it was really mean.
Immunity challenge
Sam expresses his desire for Mick to leave, and this challenge is a
talent quest. Matthew Ridge enters - he is a guest judge.
Betty screams and gesticulates wildly while performing a "Choreo-
Poem" entitled 'Love and Pain'; Ben tells a lame joke; Tiffany paints
a picture with her body; Sam walks on his hands; Mary swings a hula
hoop in a skimpy outfit ("I looked like I did when I was five," says
Victoria in interview).
Mick sings 'Oh Danny Boy". Quite well. Matthew Ridge gives him the
highest mark. Once again, by design, Mick is the winner. Charlie (who
plays Ben) observes that this obviously pisses Sam off. Ben and Sam
discuss the situation in Sam's room. Sam says he thinks the house is
corrupting Mary.
Eliminations
According to Kirsty (who plays Betty), Sam thinks they should vote
for Mary to save her relationship with William. Following the voting,
Mark informs the room that the votes are irrelevant and that someone
will actually be evicted from the house because of past behaviour.
Tiffany interrupts Mark before he can finish and says her angry
goodbyes. She is about to smash her plate in the fire, but Mark tells
her to sit down. He informs them that Mick will be evicted for
breaking the game's rules. Mick is enraged - he refuses to leave at
first and angrily protests, but eventually smashes his own plate and
leaves.
"That was my job," says Mark, referring to the plate smashing.
"I'm looking forward to getting away from Mick and going back to me,"
says Jason (who played Mick).
The next morning
When he thinks the cameras have stopped rolling, Sam admits that he
considered leaving the house the night before.
"I was tempted to get in a cab and leave. I don't want to be famous.
What did I get myself into?"
Is the only genuine contestant quitting the game?

I just hope none of the Aussie and Kiwi reviewers have the audacity
to call this show "original".
From an upcoming episode of the New Zealand show "Living the Dream":
"Tiffany confesses her secret past and Mary's fiancé arrives to find
her handcuffed to Sam in the spa pool. Mick shocks everyone with his

startling announcement."
I saw the woman who played Ashleigh on a commercial, I think for
feminie protection.
