editors/producers tried to insinuate Cat as trying to do?

MM: Nice irony, huh?

sadmad: The article goes on to say how 'that girl' pocketed a check
for $250k for 'winning' and then 'dropped out of sight'. A none to
flattering portrait of Linda, this article paints, to say the least.

OS: Yes, it would appear David (and those who are close to him) seem
to be quite bitter at Ms. L.

sadmad: I would say.

MM: Read the next part.

sadmad: It, once again, cites this 'source close to David' as saying
there wasn't any romance or sex on the show, and that David said
that 'they' (the editors/producers) could make you believe the moon
was made of green cheese'. (laughs) My, oh my!
