sadmad: Okay, we've catalogued how outrageous and sleazy and
underhanded FOX/RSL showed themselves to be with their deceit and
distortions and manipulations.
OS: Check.
sadmad: And we've given Linda quite a going-over for her acquiescence
or complicity in that deceit and manipulations.
MM: Check.
sadmad: Well, with the revelation of this 'deal',in my mind, there's
someone who ranks even lower than each of them.
MM: Wow! Karolina, you mean?
OS: Whoa! That's a staggering statement, sadmad. How so?
sadmad: Let me explain. Karolina, you're no doubt aware, showed up in
the weeks after the showed aired here in America on internet
messageboards (including our very own one here on Yahoo) dispensing
background information with what happened on the show.
OS: Yes, we know. She seemed to be quite candid in her assessments,
didn't she?
sadmad: Candid? That's an interesting choice of words.
MM: She was certainly right up front with regard to her lack of
interest in David in all of them. Don't tell me you're still ticked
off at her because of that?
sadmad: Look, I admit I had a degree of empathy for David, but I
can't blame Karolina just because she couldn't hide the fact that she
didn't find him to be in any way attractive. Again, I couldn't
conceive of her ever applying to be on the show if FOX/RSL had been
honest with her about their actual intent.
MM: True. But we heard all kinds of stories about the girls making
fun of David behind his back. It sure ain't hard to imagine Karolina
as being one of them while she was still a part of the proceedings.
sadmad: No.
OS: And yet another one of Linda's claims in her interview was that
one of the reasons she wanted to get away from the show was because
she was upset with the others for the way they were trashing him.
While Karolina is/was her best pal. So she wants us to believe she
wasn't hearing that stuff from Karolina? Hmmm.
sadmad: Right. But we're straying from the subject at hand.
Karolina's comments about David didn't put her in a favorable light,
certainly, as appearing so condescending and full-of-herself by
scoffing at the idea that she could ever seriously be interested in a
guy like him -
MM: - 'from the middle of nowhere' was the colorful phrase she used,
I believe. Heh. You're a Kansas guy, right, sadmad?
sadmad: As you're fond of saying, Michael, correctamundo!
OS: And also saying she thought he (David) was intimidated by her.
sadmad: Right. But being condescending and full-of-yourself, as well
as having an inflated opinion of your own degree of charm, while not
being what you would call ingratiating character traits, would
certainly not put her, or anyone else, on the same level as those
other two entities we've discussed.
The other day I received another cryptic email request to appear at the same Kansas City hotel as last year. Hmmm, I thought. I wonder what this is all about? ...
sadmad: An interesting update to the story, you were saying, Oliver? OLIVER STONE: Yes. It involves that deus ex machina of JM2 - Linda's leaving the show (or...
