Yay!
Thankyou Mel, hope you enjoy the rest when I get round
to thinking of what to write next!
I think it's maybe my warped mind at work when I get
weaving on my stories, especially the comedies I

I was trying to think of a herby sounding name, when I
thought of the book Watership Down & all the rabbits
named after flowers & herbs, so I used General
Woundwort as my Witch name.
Nowt to do with Lori's Practical Magic stories

Having been lurking around here for a couple of months and so far only managing to contribute one story (there is another on the way, promise!), I have a question:

Who or what are the Joxer Shields that I keep hearing rumours about?

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks, guys.

The songs are the best part! I've owned that film since I-don't-know-when,
grew up listening to it, and moreover grew up in Philly where I got to see

I plugged in the disk that has THE ONLY COPY of my screenplay on it and
got the following message:

The disk "SCREENPLAYS" cannot be used, because a disk error occured.

It was the only copy I had...no hard copy exists and I'm about to start
bawling. I don't know anyone with a Mac and I'm terrified that I will
lose my screenplay.

Can anyone help? Anyone at all? Anyone who has a Mac or knows what I

Wow... that was a really, really interesting (and entertaining)
crossover! I didn't initially see how it could work, but it actually
did! I liked your Shakespearean dialogue, it flowed pretty well. :)
This was a neat departure from the norm, and I enjoyed it. ^_^ One

Okay. Just that, I'm a little puzzled by the ending. I thought at the
beginning that it took place shortly after "Looking Death In The Eye",
and Meg is all angry at Joxer for throwing her over for Gabby; also,
Joxer notes that Juliet is 14, and he's 11 years older than she is,
making him 25. But at the end when they return to what I suppose is
their time, they already have a family and their oldest daughter is 14?
I was a bit thrown by that. Otherwise, good job! :)

I'll explain that in another story. WHAT IN VERONA is the first story

some of the others do? The reason I'm asking is because I can't figure it out.

I wouldn't really say that's true. The stream of fanfic seems to be

I am still enjoying just as much as I was with the past chapter! Great
blend of XWP and Pratchett-style writing, and I like a lot of the jokes
in this one even more than those in the first. ^_^

Ah, gotcha. I figured you didn't mean late, but I couldn't guess what

Warrior series, etc. If you can't let me know I'll take a guess, but I
didn't want to get it wrong prior to this.

Also I don't usually make a "series" section until there is more than
one or two stories in the series that are at least started, so I might
wait a while with the "Weird Crossovers" one if you don't mind. It's
just how I organize on the site.

THE SUPER WARRIOR
part four
by KScott2112

Ares stormed in the room of his sister, Athena, holding his broken nose.
Others of his family surrounded the room, staring back at the injured God of
War.

Athena smirked. "Looks like somebody's having a bad day. What's wrong bro?
Xena again?" She grinned, teasing Ares about his love for the warrior
princess, and now mother to the child that would bring the twilight among the
gods.

Ares scowled at her. He put down his hand, revealing his bruised up nose,
where blood was trinkling from the nostrels. The entire room gasped at the
sight. "If it was Xena, Athena, then I would be healed by now!"

Athena's grin dissappeared as she looked worried at her brother. "What
happened down there Ares? Has Frieza completed his mission?"

Morpheus, the God of Dreams, stepped forward. "You know he has, Athena. I
created from my powers to make him invincible. The rest of you made him real."

"Sorry, Morpheus. But Frieza failed...and he's dead."

Athena, eyes wide open, stormed up from her seat in the room. "How?! That's
impossible! I was sure that no mortal or immortal could beat him...except for
us that is."

Ares held his nose again as the pain returned in it. "Joxer...it was that
weak klutz called Joxer."

"Xena and Gabrielle's companion?" Apollo asked from behind Artemis.

Morpheus smirked. "Your full of it, Ares. That weakling could do absolutely
nothing. He would be dead....."

"Does this look like nothing to you?!!" Ares marched over to his brother,
showing him again his broken nose. "That boy beat Frieza, then killed him,
and then BROKE MY NOSE!!!"

"ENOUGH!!!"

Everyone looked in the back of the room from where the loud voice came from.
It was Hades, lord of the underworld. He slowly walked into the center of the
room, looking all around at his nephews and neices.

"What Ares has told you...it is true." He said.

The room gasped again. It became loud as people began speaking at the matter.
Hades then held up his hand to make them quiet, and the obliged.

"This boy is now the worst of our worriers, as well as the child of Xena.
But...fear not, my family. I have called forth a greater warrior. One that
makes Frieza a weakling...as well as this...super warrior,Joxer."

"Let us hope you are right, Uncle." Athena replied.

"Hades is the brother of our father, Zeus, and son of our grandfather,
Kronos! He has always been right before!" Artemis shouted in the room.

"Yeah!! DEATH TO THE SUPER WARRIOR AND THE CHILD OF XENA!!" Apollo shouted.

The entire room began to cheer. All except Aphrodite, who looked down,
worried about her favorite mortal.

Joxer walked outside of his sister's home, watching the beautiful blue sky.
He stared more at the clowds, admiring the beauty of the shapes the clouds
all made.

"Well, Dad. I don't know if you can hear me. Well...you probably could...I
mean..being a god and all, just not a god of this world." He fell silent for
a moment, then spoke again. "I know who I am now, Father. But I just....I
just don't know why? Why do I have this power, and how long has it been in
me?"

The wind started to run through his hair, and touching his face. Nothing
though came from the sky. Not one sound..or a word that he was looking for.
Joxer frowned as he shook his head.

A hand, then, touched his shoulder, causing him to jump. When he looked back,
he smiled in embarresment and scratched the back of his head. It was
Gabrielle.

"Who were you talking to?" She smiled.

"Oh uh...n-nobody. Just...just myself, you know." He replied.

There was a brief silence as they stood close to each other, staring at each
other with a love of comfort in their eyes. Gabrielle finally spoke up.

"Xena's ok, but she'll be out of action for awhile. Hercules and Iolas are
the same too."

Joxer grinned as he put his hands on his hips. "You knew I was gonna ask how
they were. Did my sister teach you how to read minds or something?"

"No.It was just a wild guess."

Joxer nodded. He began to walk up to her and crossed his arms over the chest.
He then saw something in her eyes. A sparkle. "You ok?"

Gabrielle smile faded. She looked down, then back up as she walked over to
her clumsy, and powerful, friend. "Joxer, we have to talk."

Uh oh, was the only thing that came to his mind. She took his hand, and they
walked over to a nearby stump.

"Uh...Joxer...uh...oh gods this was easier when I practiced infront of
Jarren's mirror." She sighed.

"What is it, Gabby?"

"Joxer I...uh...you-you remember when you told me you would always love me..I
mean..more than a friend?" Joxer nodded. "Well...I've been doing some
thinking...and...I....I think...no wait I don't think, I know
that....I'mfallinginlovewithyou. "She said it so quickly, Joxer almost didn't
understand her.

Joxer's looked at her in pure shock. "You...Gabby..but....w-what about you
and Xena."

"We broke up. It...it just didn't feel...right."

"But...you love her..."

"Joxer, will you please...just tell me you love me!" She shut her eyes tight,
feeling a single tear run down her cheek.

Joxer sighed heavily, looking down at the ground, and feeling a wave of guilt
in his head and his heart.

"Gabby, I....I did love you..."

"Did?" She stared back up at him.

"Yes...did...but...I just..." He couldn't finish. He didn't want to break his
best friend's heart. But he did with his words.

"I'm sorry, Gabrielle."

She didn't say a word to him, she couldn't. She felt like taking her sais,
and using whatever strength she had left in herself to cut him in half.
Instead, she stood up quick, and stormed back into Jarren's home, passing
Jarren.

Jarren watched back after Gabrielle, swearing that she saw her new friend
crying. She looked outside, right straight at her brother. "What happened?"

Joxer frowned at his sister, shrugging at her. "Just let her cool off for a
bit. She'll be fine."

"Which is something I can't say for you...mortal." A dark voice spoke from
behind Joxer.

Joxer swung around. A few distance from him was a tall figure that looked
part reptile and human. "By the gods." Joxer whispered at the size of the
creature.

"I'm Cell. You must be the super weakling, Joxer?"

Joxer glared at the creature with fire in his eyes, but grinned evily. "It's
super warrior, and yeah I'm Joxer."

The creature called Cell just gave a hmpf to Joxer. "I would say it's an
honor, but those are not words for a loser as yourself. And where is this
child I keep hearing about?"

Joxer got into his fighting stance. "Like I'm gonna tell your scaley ass.
What even makes you think you have a chance against me?"

"Well, there's no reason not to think I can beat you. I'll finish you off
with one hand behind my back, then I'll find this...daughter of Xena."

The fire was back in Joxer's eyes as his anger boiled in his veins.
"Over...my...DEAD...BOOOODDDYYY!!!" Joxer squeezed his fist tightly, and his
transformation to a super warrior began as his hair spiked up and turned
gold, and his muscles bulked a bit.

"I was hoping you'd say that." With that, Cell moved in a flash, and
positioned himself behind Joxer.

Joxer had no time to react, as Cell his palm into the center of Joxer's back,
sending Joxer flying forward towards the ground. Before he touched the
ground, Cell flashed forward again, grabbed the back of Joxer's shirt, and
smashed his knee into Joxer's gut. Joxer gasped for breath, but Cell threw
him up and slammed him to the ground.

"Oh gods." Jarren gasped.

Jarren rushed back into her house, running in the room where Gabrielle looked
over a resting Xena, a sleeping Iolas, and a badly injured Hercules.
"Gabrielle, we have some company. Keep your friends safe."

Gabrielle jolted up from her spot next to Xena. "Where's Joxer?"

Joxer fell on his chest, groaning at the pain. Cell stood a few feet away
from his advisery. "How much a waiste of time, this is. I was hoping you were
stronger than this, but I was right...that you were a weak loser. And now,
YOU DIE!!" Cell charged forward.

Suddenly, Joxer pushed himself up and performed a spinning kick menuver, his
foot connecting with the side of Cell's face. Cell fell to the ground, face
first on the other side of his face.

Joxer breathed heavily for air, holding himself up. "There's more than meets
the eye, Cell." He snarled.

Cell jolted back up, giving Joxer a sinister grin. "Oh really?" Cell suddenly
rushed forward again, reaching out his hand. He grabbed a hold of Joxer's
neck, lifting the super warrior in the air.

Joxer held onto Cell's wrist, trying to push his hand away from his throat.
Cell only made his grip tighter around Joxer's throat. "Nothing but weak."
Cell said as he continued to make his grip tighter and tighter.

"JOXER!" a young voice called from behind. It was Jarren's.

Joxer's eyes popped open. "Jarren, no! Ge-get out of here..." he tried to
yell but his voice sounded like a whisper with Cell's hand crushing his
throat.

With his other hand, Cell pointed his finger straight at Jarren. Joxer knew
exactly what was going to happen. "Cell, no! DON'T DO THIS!!" He tried to
yell.

Cell grinned. A small beam of energy shot from his finger tip, and right
through Jarren, above her breast. She stood cold still for a moment, then
fell to the ground, dead.

Joxer's eyes were full of panic as he watched his little sister. "Could've
saved her Joxer, all you had to do was give up and tell me where Xena's child
is."

Gabrielle ran outside, finally noticing the dead body infront of her.
"Jarren!!" she yelled as she stormed over beside her. She looked at the
wound. Gods, Cell's beam hit her right through her lung. Gabrielle began to
cry as she cupped the young girl's face.

Joxer's tears ran down his face, staring at his dead sister. His blood began
to boil greater than ever, his anger was reaching a new height.

"No."

He gripped Cell's wrist, and began to squeeze his grip.

"No!"

Cell growled in pain at the tight grip Joxer held on his wrist. Suddenly, a
huge ball of golden lighted-energy surrounded Joxer's body.

"NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!"

Cell backed away, screaming in pain as his arm fell to the ground. Joxer
screamed from the top of his lungs as the energy around his body grew. Joxer
was going through another transformation.

Joxer's golden hair became more spikier and grew a little more as his muscles
became more bulkier. Joxer stopped screaming, and glared deadly at his one
armed opponent.

Cell glared back, angry that Joxer had ripped off his arm. Nobody alive or
dead had ever done this to him. It was such humiliation.

"Damn you, NOW YOUR DEAD!!!" Cell growled as he charged his fist right to
Joxer's face. Without using any effort, Joxer moved his fist forward,
blocking Cell's punch.

Cell kicked at Joxer, but Joxer blocked with his own kicks. every other
attack Cell used, Joxer used for defense.

Cell darted away from his oppenent, gasping for air. How was this possible,
he asked himself. It's like as if he's not...even...trying. "GrrrrraaAAGGHH!!
COME ON, YOU WEAK BASTARD!!!" Cell roared as he leaped forward at Joxer.

"Be careful what you wish for." Joxer replied coldy. Joxer, with all his
might, swung his fist forward, hitting Cell directly in his gut.

Cell gasped as all his breath had left him. He began to feel weak, so
incredibly weak. That's when he knew, with just one punch from this mortal he
thought was weak, that he was defeated for the first time ever.

"Y-you....what..p-p-power is...this?" Cell could barely speak.

With his fist still slammed against Cell's stomach, Joxer simply replied,
"It's a new stage of the super warrior. I think I'll call it, Super Warrior
level 2."

Joxer eyes flashed pure rage at Cell. "And I'll call you...dead."

With that, a small amount of energy covered Joxer's fist, which was still
slammed against Cell. The small energy suddenly grew more bigger, and Joxer
roared as he used the energy to blast Cell. Cell screamed in horror and pain
as the energy turned into a ball and pierced through his entire chest,
sending him a bit in the air.

"JOXER, CATCH!" Gabrielle threw his sword to him.

Joxer leaped in the air, caught his sword, and leaped himself up again, until
he was eye-to-eye with Cell. Cell's eyes were full of horror as he began to
realize what was coming next.

Joxer roared his battle cry, and swung his sword right through Cell's body,
like he did with Frieza. Joxer lifted his free hand up as he placed his sword
to his side, and a huge wave of destructive power emerged from his hand, and
onto Cell's body, disendigrating his entire body to nothing.

Joxer fell to the ground on his feet, and breathed a silent relief that it
was over.

Joxer leaned forward as he sat in one of his late sister's chair out on the
front porch. She's gone, he thought. Jarren, I can't believe...I never
believed that this would happen. All because I couldn't save you.

Hercules, his broken up being held up by a bandage that was tied around the
back of his neck, walked out to the porch, and slowly walked over to where
Joxer sat. "You alright?"

Without saying a word, Joxer nodded.

Hercules sighed. "Look, Joxer, I know this is really tough on you. Trust me,
I know what your going through." he said with saddness in his tone.

Joxer finally looked up at the tall hero. "I'm sorry about your mother."

"Me too. And I'm sorry about your sister. She was really the nicest person
I've ever meant."

"She was."

There was a brief silence among the two. Hercules looked down at Joxer's
feet, noticing his sword in his scabbard and his small back with his
belongings. Hercules shook his head, knowing what was going on now, and
looked up at Joxer.

"Will you say good-bye to them?" He asked.

"Yes." Joxer simply replied without looking up.

Hercules patted Joxer's shoulder as he sat up. "You're a good man, Joxer, and
more braver than maybe I could ever be." With that, Hercules walked away.

Joxer walked into the room where Xena, Gabrielle, and Iolas rested. Gabrielle
was sitting in a chair next to Xena's bed, writing down on one of her
scrolls. Joxer knocked gently against the wall, getting Gabrielle's attention
as she looked up from her scroll.

"Hey." She smiled.

"Hey." He repiled back.

Gabrielle then noticed Joxer's sword was in it's scabbard, attatched to his
side. A small bag, with some of his belongings in it, was carried over his
back. She knew now what he was doing as well. She leaned back against the
chair, looking incredilus at Joxer.

"Your leaving?"

"Yeah." He sighed.

"But...why?" She asked, looking like she was about to cry.

"I don't know. I just feel...that...this is right. For now."

There was a silence again, a very long silence.

Joxer then turned around, but looked over his shoulder. "Take care of
yourself, Gabby. And Xena and Eve. They're both real lucky to have you."

She didn't say anything. She just crossed her arms and wiped her tears from
her face.

Without looking back, Joxer walked out...probably out of hers and Xena's life
for good.

I seriously doubt that. Joxer and Gabrielle both thought.

THE SUPER WARRIOR
Part Five
by KScott2112

Joxer walked among a pier in a near by village he spotted, hoping to make it
to one of the ships in the docks now. He noticed that there were two people
left that got on board, and suddenly the man shouted for the crew to leave.

"NO WAIT!" Joxer shouted as he ran through the crowd to get to the ship. But
it was too late. The ship began to sail away.

Joxer put his hands on his hips, glaring at the descending ship. "Damn it!"
he growled as his boot stomped on the ground. He walked back off the docks,
and into a nearby inn.

Maybe I can get something to eat here and wait for the next ship. He thought
as he strolled in. He looked around the entire bar, and was nearly empty.
Hmm, crowd like that and you'd expect business to be thriving. He walked up
to the counter, looking over at the bar tender. "Some ale please, and some
stake."

The bar tender, who was middle-aged woman, smiled brightly at Joxer as she
gave him what he orderd. "A warrior's appetite eh?"

"Something like that." He replied.

The bar tender went to get Joxer his food. As he waited, Joxer then felt a
bit uneasy, like as if....someone was watching him. He looked behind him in
one of the nearby tables. Sitting in the corner, was a young black woman with
brown leather pance, and black and gold armor that was like a bikini top,
only a bit bigger and made of steel as the breast plates looked almost a bit
leather, like Xena's.

He became breathless at the sight of the black beauty. Her hair was long a
bit over her shoulders and dark. Her brown eyes stared back directly to
Joxer's.

Joxer felt him self turn pale, and nearly fell over his seat. He quickly
grapped on to the bar and pulled himself back up. The bar tender came back in
and gave Joxer his food. He licked his lips at the sight of his stake, and
begin to rip it apart and eat.

"Some appetite." A feminem voice said from his side.

Joxer turned to his side where the voice came from. He nearly dropped his
food when he realized that the woman he was staring at in the corner was now
sitting next to him.

"Hi there." She smiled.

"H-hi." he stuttered.

Joxer felt himself blush, and shyed away from the dark woman, looking down at
his plate with half of his food left.

"So...what's a handsome guy like you doin here? Shouldn't you be with your
girlfriend, or your wife?" She asked him, grinning geniuenly. Joxer couldn't
help but notice a bit of flirting in her tone.

Is she flirting with me? he asked himself.

He looked over at her. "I uh...I'm uh...single."

"Oh...well.." she leaned forward to him, " it feels good being single, eh?"
she whispered.

He looked back over at her, looking confused. "What do you mean?"

" What I mean is...that when you're single, you don't have to worry about
anyone, or do things you don't wanna do. Your totally free...free to do
whatever. Am I right?" She asked him.

Joxer felt his shyness dissappear. "Yeah, but what about the good part of
being with someone?"

"What good part?" she sighed.

"That good part where you don't feel alone, when your happy, when you don't
have to face something by yourself, when you feel warmth and
comfort...when.." he paused as he began to blush again, "..when you're in
love."

She looked at the lanky man for a moment, his words hitting her like a jab to
the head. She nodded at him, remembering how she felt towards Iolas.

She looked down, rested her arms on the bar. "Have you ever been inlove?"

He felt himself smirk. "Yeah, but she never returned my feelings. How bout
you?"

The woman looked back at Joxer. "Once...but Iolas and I..."

"Iolas? You curly blond hair, Hercules' sidekick, hunting, Iolas?" He asked.

"You know him too?"

"Yeah, I do. He's...he's a friend of mine." Suddenly, Joxer's jaw dropped. He
finally realized who the woman was.

"Your Nebula."

She smiled. "That's me."

Joxer moved himself to get closer to Nebula. Then perhaps you could help me.
See...I'm trying to get Egypt. But I need a ship to get there..so I was
wondering if..."

"If I could give you a lift to Egypt?"

Joxer nodded. Nebula looked down, thinking for a moment. She then looked back
up, her lips making an evil grin.

"There is a price, you know?"

Joxer gulped. "What...what kind of price?"

Nebula stood up and put her arms around Joxer's neck. As Joxer leaned back
against the bar, Nebula leaned forward until her lips met his.

Her kiss began soft, but became more passionate when Joxer kissed her back.
He began to deepen the kiss as he stood up from his stool by the bar, and
wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close to him. This was
something they both didn't expect.

Joxer lips moved from Nebula's, and pressed down softly on her neck. She
moaned at this. Feeling the seductive sensation of his lips, Nebula smiled as
she moaned, but then she realized what they were doing, and she pushed him
away.

Both gasped for her. Nebula looked over at the young warrior. "I think that's
good enough..so...I'll uh...take you to where you have to go." she sighed.

He had no idea what came over him. It was a feeling, a real strong feeling.
Something like the way he use to feel about Gabrielle. What ever it was
though, he didn't want it to go away.

Joxer looked back up at her, noticing a sparkle of dissappointment in her
eyes. Dissappointment from stopping.

She noticed the look on his face. "Now don't you be getting any ideas, buddy.
I'm taking you to Chin and that's it."

"No problem." Joxer nodded.

Nebula turned and began to walk the other way. "Come on, I'll show you to my
ship." She said over her shoulder.

As she walked away, Joxer couldn't help but think I've got just one idea for
this little trip, pirate queen.

Joxer leaned over the ship, watching the waves of the ocean. His mind though,
was not on the scenery, but on Nebula, and that kiss back at the inn. He knew
that kiss had to mean something.

Nebula walked over behind him. "It'll be night soon. We won't get to Chin in
a day or two. Why don't you go get some rest."

She began to walk away. Joxer looked after her, the back at the ocean. He let
out a huge sigh. Go talk to her you idiot! Don't let her be another Gabrielle.
With that, Joxer marched over to where Nebula stood.

He tapped her on the shoulder, sucking in his breath. She turned to him.
"What's wrong? Need some help?" She asked.

"Nebula...."

"What?"

He paused for a moment, and finally spoke again. "..I like you...I'm starting
to like you alot."

Nebula smiled genuinley at the young man, and patted his shoulder. "Well,
you're not so bad yourself, Joxer."

Joxer shook his head. "No...Nebula..." He paused again.

He looked at her, looking deep in brown eyes. Something in them was making
him lose control.

Ah screw it. With that, Joxer pulled Nebula to him, pulling in her into a
kiss, more intense and passionate than their first.

Nebula laid on top of Joxer, her arm over his chest, and his arm from under
her side and around her back. He pulled the sheets over to cover them more.
She smiled and kissed the center of his chest, then his cheek, and kissed his
lips softly and leaned her head back on his chest.

"And I said no ideas." She grinned.

"Hey, I didn't plan this. Well...maybe this kissing part, but not making love
to a beautiful pirate queen." He grinned back.

She moved her hand on his chest, and rested her chin on the back of her hand
as she stared lovingly at him."You were right, you know?"

"About what?"

"About the good part of being in love."

Joxer looked up at the ceiling as he smirked. "It's actually the first time
I've ever been right about something."

"I want to come with you." Nebula simply said.

Joxer looked back at dark skinned lover, with unrequinted love in his eyes.
"I'd like that."

Ares looked over at the two figures standing in front of him. One looked
human with a huge muscular form and long gold hair almost like Joxer's when
he transformed into his super warrior form. The other was pink skinned with
no hair but a long pink antenna from the back of his head .

"Now just remember. You two are our last hope. We've put all our powers into
you, that we are all so weak now. If you fail...which I doubt it...then pray
that your fate is in the hands of Joxer and not mine."

The two nodded, then walked away, heading in the direction of Chin. Ares
watched them leave, then turned to one of his priests. "Tell the others that
Majin Buu and Brolli have left." The priest bowed and walked away.

Ares looked back over at Brolli and Majin Buu. "Soon, Joxer. Payback is gonna
be such a bitch when I break your nose."
