The series mostly tackles the conflicts of adjusting to a new place to
live and relationship between father and children and to the new people
they will encounter. Dr. Andrew Brown or known only as Andy was a
widower played by Treat Williams decide to leave his successful job as
neurosurgeon in Manhattan to live in a small town known as Everwood in
Colorado as his wife had told him that she had an emotional attachment
with the town.
