Hey all,
Just joined today. I love these movies, haven't read the
books, and I really wish they'd make more. The actors are all great,
and it's great to see them in other things, as well.

On the whole wishing they'd make more movies, I created an rpg
whose ad I have below this. It's newly created, and I'm hoping it
will generate some sincere interest, as there's a lot of room for
creativity, I think. Anyway, if you care to check it out, please do
so, and if not, no big. I'll still stick around to talk about the
movies and characters.



An all new RPG based on the A&E mini-series and books by C.S.
Forrester, Horatio Hornblower. These movies starred Jamie Bamber
(currently can be seen on the new Battlestar Gallactica series on Sci-
fi) and Ioan Gruffudd (currently in King Arthur (DVD) and soon to be
seen in The Fantastic Four).
Characters may be from the movies, books, or from the players own
imagination. All characters will be welcome. The group will be rated
M for mature (in case anything of that nature should come up.)
Currently, all characters, except for Pellew are available, but hurry
to get your favorite character before they're gone.

As the group is rated M for Mature, members must be 18 and over.

Some knowledge of either the books or movies is preferred, but not
necessary. Knowledge of the time period or at least an interest in
learning about it (the Napoleonic Era) is required. All members will
receive three files upon joining which will relate the rules and
current cast list to them. They will also receive a file for Original
Character Biographies, which only needs to be filled out for Original
Characters to the game (for characters from the movies or books, it
is not necessary).

As this is a new group, play has not started yet. So anyone
interested need not worry about coming in in the middle of the action
and possibly being lost or ignored.
