We're quiet during this rerun season, but I wanted to wish everyone a
happy holiday season.

Don't forget on 12:01 AM January 1st, Court TV will begin a 24-hour
marathon beginning with the very first episode. They're supposed to be
uncut, but I think that Lifetime claimed that there's were uncut also,
even though they shaved a minute or two off each episode.

Set your VCRs!

Yes, there seem to be plenty of chemistry between them. Especially when she
told him to call her and DO NOT LEAVE ME A DAMN MESSAGE! I was rolling on the
floor. You go girl. Take control. I believe that is what he told her in last
week's episode. He looked purely chastised when she laid down the law.

You may have heard of David Bianculli, he's been perhaps Homicide's most
vocal supporter.

This is an article he's written about the season thus far:

They were together, and are a couple, but they just seem so cold.

He's shaving. She's watching and rolling her eyes. It makes me sort of
sad, because I really like Ballard and I've wanted her to get her hunky
wish every since she declared it.

This is only my opinion, but I though Bayliss and the coffin hotty had
better chemistry.
Come to think of it, Bayliss and that guy from SECRET LIVES OF MEN had
better chemistry. Maybe Bayliss is just a more passionate person.

Anyone else notice how they're showing Andre in the promos for tonight's
show. It's a double episode, with an old one first, then the new one at
10 o'clock. Hopefully, it will be the last episode with Kellerman that
we'll have to endure. Also, maybe Falsone and Ballard will show some
actual chemistry between them.

I keep picturing Nick Cage, looking more droopy-eyed than normal, in the
CITY OF ANGELS trailer.

But seriously, the Goo Goo Dolls song may have been the first one I can
remember that seemed too popular for the show. That song is on its way
off the charts. Usually, whoever is responsible for H:LOTS' music is
way ahead of the mainstream. Face it, we've heard some pretty
spectacular music that was unknown or little-known and that fit the mood
exactly right.

Remember:

IT'S RAINING IN BALTIMORE when Kay Howard was coming back from her
family's waterfront home.

Or that Soul Coughing song SUPER BON BON.

I don't even know the name of the person who sang my favorite H:LOTS
song, but the words were 'Out the window backwards'.

In summation, NO MORE GOO GOO DOLLS!

Hey all--

It sort of bugged me that Falsone is mad at Kellerman for doing the same
thing that detectives do every day--trying to get one perp to roll over
on the other. Kellerman's position in this case is sort of as an
investigator/advocate, a poor man's lawyer. His job is to cause the
least harm to come to his client, the girl. Why Falsone and Stivers are
so shocked at his behavior is striking me as false.

Besides that, however, I liked the episode. I've never seen Mikey's
charisma, so I was surprised that the model/detective would have a drink
with him.

One other point. In every single episode where Kellerman was allegedly
about to kill himself (on the boat with Lewis, in the box on his last
show) I NEVER believed him. I found that entire tangent storyline
absolutely unbelievable. And then I have to hear him say 'Thanks for
not leaving me in the box with your gun.' I have some experience with
suicidal people and Kellerman is much to 'holier-than-thou' to take his
own life. It seemed to me to be a cop-out from the writers to show just
how far his drinking had taken him.

Ideas?

Hey all--

Mike Kellerman comes back to the precinct as a PI this friday.

IMHO, Kellerman was the worst character ever to grace the Homicide
Unit. I liked Michelle Forbes better and Felton and I even love to hate
the flattopped dickhead Sgt. I'll be sorry to see Kellerman back.

Like everyone else, I'd like Bayliss to find somebody to date. I find
it too convenient that he zeroed in on the 'new chick' just like all the
other detectives did. We need to learn about her as a person before she
becomes Bayliss' sig other.

I think Esposito is a terrific actor. Did you see the movie Bob
Roberts? I think he'll grow on you.

You are absolutely right about the new box.

It's almost high-tech. Can't they see into two boxes through the
mirrors?

The office as a whole is too clean and slick. I'm afraid the show is
going to try to go in a 'slick' direction.

I find the romance between Ballard and Falsone sort of cute. How about
you?

I have to agree the trip to me was totally unneccessary. I'm still trying to
give Mike G a chance. I have seen Giancarlo Esposito act before, he can do a
good job. But then he can only work with whatever they write for him. I do
have a problem with new box. It is just too pretty. The old look was better,
more hard and gritty.

Sheppard to me is trying to come off too tough. Too street. It doesn't fit her
at all.

Just my 2 cents worth:)

Hi.

We're brand new and growing slowly but surely.

Let's start a topic, ok?

Did the producers of Homicide bow to the NBC brass by having Mike G and
Bayliss travel to Miami to catch the bail-jumper? Besides the ability
to promote two women in bikinis, I'm not sure the trip was necessary.

Do you miss Pembleton yet?

Are you ok with the new too-beautiful-to-be-a-detective?

thoughts?

Michael.
