Did you hear... our "Det Kay Howard" received her first Academy Awards
nomination for Frozen River!! Melissa Leo plays Ray Eddy, an
impoverished mother who becomes involved in a smuggling ring in an
attempt to avoid losing her home.

BTW - did anyone check this film out yet - I don't recall it being
release here in Michigan.
