I did not understand the Dream that Nate and David shared I  guess you are
not suppose to.  Anyhow I hated that they killed him off and  At the Same time
He was cheating on Brenda.  I think they should have  handled that better.  I
loved the Series and too I hated that it is no  longer they should come up with
a Movie or some sort to show how they are doing.

I agree - I think the show's writing was just so rich. I just hated to
see it end. Nate wasn't my favorite character though - I think it would
have to be David. Has anyone on the forum read the book of essays about
Six Feet Under? I got it on Amazon. It is a very interesting collection
of thoughts!

I love this series. I like the character of Nate who happened to manage
the funeral business of his late father. Nate whose working on the world
of dead people seems to be immune on that fact. But eventually as the
series passes he discover that he himself  has an ill that might end his
life anytime of the day. Nate became afraid of his own death but his
character became stronger as the series flows.

Haha, i forgot i was in this yahoogroup, it's been so long since i joined
it.

Anyway, I don't know where episodes can be downloaded, but this is the only
hbo show I thought anywhere near worthy enough of the steep price tag. I own
every single one of the 5 season box sets.

I HATE drama and romance, but this show blew me away. I love it, and I try
to watch at least an episode a week. I started watching it back when it
started in 2001.  I STRONGLY recommend that you watch it in order...
everyone on the show is such a fantastic actor/actress. Although the show
only ran five seasons, it is my favorite television show of all time... and
I'm a very critical person.

   Great to read your message, I'd forgotten that I'd joined the 6ft group as
I've never received a message since joining months ago.

   Like so many more i adore 6ft Under, it's an outstanding show. It covers the
human condition like no other drama has done, something to be learned in every
episode. I identify with each member of the Fisher family in different ways and
it has without a doubt helped me within my own life. I have many, many favourite
moments.

   The final episode was extremely moving, i was a complete mess for hours
afterwards. What made it worse was that none of my friends were into the show so
i had to grieve the death of 6ft Under alone. Boo hoo, I was like a lonely
little petunia in an onion patch, lol.

it truly was a good show. There are things I have missed about it. And things
that I don't want to ruin by going back and re-watching it yet. I think I will
wait a year or so and then start over.
In the mean time I have started watching cooking shows lol

Have to agree with you.  It really helped me to deal with things in my life.  I

depressed as well for many years, but it seemed to help.  Its the best show ever
and you learn

I  totally agree with you.  I had canceled my HBO during season 4 and just
recently caught up with the last 2 seasons of what may be the best show ever
made.  I, too, was so overwhelmed and impressed by the ending that I cried and
cried.  Also, loved Sia's song Breathe Me and play it constantly.

   Good to know that shows like this exist and will hope to happen upon another

yes this show was wonderful i miss it too.

definetly taught me life lessons. it helped me in my teen years to figure
things out i watched it from day 1 and kept with it. good to hear it helped you
with things you were going through i too had depression and anxiety about
things  it helped me eventhough from time to time i struggle with it the show
definetly  helped me deal with life.
