Hey gang,

Yep, the site and the forum are currently offline.  We switched to a new host
two weeks ago, and so far I am not terribly impressed.  But we'll have to wait
for Greg for an explanation as to just why it's happened.

Greg lives in GMT+8 time zone, so it's currently the middle of the night.  Sorry
to say that we can't do anything until he wakes up.  Please stay tuned!

Can't seem to get into Gateworld Forums. I keep getting a black page and nothing
happens. Same thing happens when I click on any of the links on Gateworld.

GateWorld uploaded con photos from Friday about two hours ago, I guess everyone
is all trying to look at the same time.

*sigh*  I busted my butt to get into work early today so I could do some RPG

OK gang, I'm getting really annoyed with the ads again.  One of them,
which has 'googleleads''doubleclick.net''ca-pub''99...' in the address
is hosing up my connection.  I've been trying for 30 minutes now to log
in to the forum.  I've tried multiple sessions - thinking that there
was maybe something with a particular data stream from my end wrong.
No joy.

If ... IF it ever gets past that point, I get a blank blue screen
and 'done' in the status window.

I guess it's done but, I still don't see anything about the forum.
Suggestions????  I'd report it on the forum but, you see the Catch-22,
I can't get there to report it.

I've been having problems with the Gateworld site for about the last
couple of hours.  At first I was getting 500 - Internal Server Error
or it was running really slowly when I tried to get to the forum, and
now the website won't come up at all.  I'm wondering if it will be up
again tonight?
