The few that I thought were really dumb was the one were he was training
irish setters I don't know the name of all the episodes but another one
was when he was in that house with Ivan Dixon who Keeps Kimble in his
house becouse he is a diplomat and the police can't go in and get him.

I know it seems like Nick at Nite or tvland should air the fugitive. I
remember watching it with my sister when it was on WWOR.

Yes, the Fugitive is the greatest drama in the history of television,
but nobody is perfect. There were some episodes that were made just to
be made, which qualify for worst Fugitive episodes. They are as
follows:
Second Sight: Janssen's expression-filled eyes are taken out of the
show, which is unfortunate. The opening credits show the skyline of
Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Homecoming: This episode about a panic-stricken daughter whose
stepmother tries to scare her out is dull and uninspired.
The Last Oasis: Being first in color episodes does not guarantee a
good show. The scene with Hope (The Ghost and Mrs. Muir) Lange pulling
out a bloody bullet from Kimble is almost comical in execution.
The Chinese Sunset: Watching Kimble try to educate some white trash
woman on the Sunset Strip is like putting earrings on a hog.
Fleeing From The Final Demon: A near-pointless episode does not
benefit from the appearance of a pre-Archie Bunker Carroll O'Connor.
Watching it makes you wish he would have permanently stifled the guy
with Kimble in Act 1.
These are my five nominees for worst Fugitive episode.

Anybody know of any availible CD that has any music from the series? The one
thing I have is a Twilight Zone music collection from Varese Sarabande
Digital. This contains Jerry Goldsmith's score for the Zone episode "The
Invaders", which was used quite frequently in The Fugitive. It also has
Bernard Herman's "Walking Distance", of which a snippet can be heard very
briefly in three episodes: "The Girl From Little Egypt", "Landscape With
Running Figures", and "Shadow of the Swan".

No. But coincidently (sp?) Doc Kimball was working at the book depository. He
had heard
One-armed guy was in Dallas. Took a menail laborer type gig stocking school
books to keep
himself in hair dye til he could locate Bad guy Lefty. (Or is it Righty?) Soon
as he heard the
gunshots he hopped on the next freight outta Dodge. Wheww! That was a close one!
To be contined....(Cue Fugitive theme song....Out)

The last station to run it was WWOR in Jersey back in 1995.

It's on five nights a week here in Chicago. Carried on a small suburban TV
station I think. Channel 62, can't think of the call letters off hand.

Shakey trigger finger? Thank God and Nielsen ratings that Gerard wasn't as good
a shot as Ruby.

I am sorry there are some problems with this list, it seems to take a
long time for messages to get posted from when they are mailed, and
also the huge ads on every page are not ideal. I am thinking of maybe
moving the list to another host. Please stay tuned and sorry again, I
am new at this . . .

Does anyone know if The Fugitive TV series is being shown anywhere on

Late November 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald -- claiming to be an innocent victim of
blind justice, falsely accused of the murder of a United States president -- is
shot down in cold blood on live television.
The following Tuesday night, America sits down to watch some more TV -- an
escapist entertainment program, The Fugitive -- and the first scene of that
particular episode ("Nightmare at Northoak") features Gerard shooting down
Kimble in cold blood in an alley. Coincidence? Zeitgeist?

One of the most frequent questions I have gotten on the
website is: Are there any stations still broadcasting
the show? I heard from one guy in North Carolina I think
that it was on a local station there. If anyone else
has been seeing it lately or has any info about the chance
that it might be picked up by some cable network or something,
please send along a post to the list.
Also, people are often asking about how they can get a copy
of the "Wanted" poster with Richard Kimble's picture on it,
that causes many problems for the fugitive in episode after
episode. So I would ask anyone who has gotten a copy and could
maybe help others to find them, to post to the list also. I
have only a small photo of the poster which I used for my
website so it is not so great I am afraid.
The other main question people ask is: Can you get videotapes
of the episodes. I put some information about this on the
website at http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~josephr/HOTH/figures.html.
However, if anyone else wants to add other information that
they may have, please do so.
