Everything." <br><br>I had stated in an earlier posting that
indeed Fox seems to have put this on the fast track to
get it over with because I think the Love Cruise has
turned into a disaster, due to it straying from its
original intent. Interestingly enough, I found out
yesterday, there are already applications circulating for a
second Love Cruise!<br><br>Go figure.

I believe the final episode is Tuesday...is it
just me, or does it seem like Fox put this thing on
fast forward just to get it off the air??<br>I think
the premise got way-y-y off kilter...what did they
expect? They wanted it to be a Love Cruise with high
stakes romance and intrigue, but when you put money into
the mix, people only see the green...know what I
mean?

Darin is the only guy on this sinking ship that
is the least bit desirable, IMHO. I know he really
likes Melissa, so he won't use the switch card. I hope
he wins. Micheal is a jerk, and Jeanette bugs me
with her poor me routine, plus she was already voted
off,...doesn't seem fair. Darin and Melissa deserve it...

This girl should be a science experiment...pasta
brains and all...<br>She talks out of both sides of her
mouth (or screams, if you prefer). She keeps talking
about "the kind of person she is" (highly
ethical???!!!) Okey dokey Toni, whatever. She tells Jeanette she
wants to be voted off to be with Greg (funny thing,
since she didn't even give him a chance to explain when
he left)Double Duh. Then she begs Jeanette to take
half of the $ if she wins (hard to do on Loser Island)
Then I see her scheming with Ralph,...then I hear she
tried to bride Jeanette with $20,000 if she would bow
out...THIS IS ONE BUSY GIRL! What a space case, IMNSHO <br>
GET THIS GIRL A CHILL PILL BEFORE HER EYES POP OUT OF
HER HEAD!!! (of course, that would be a good ratings
gimmick, and they sure could use the ratings)

Thats an accurate summary of the events. I taped
it so I've watched it a few times, just to see Toni
blow up...she's crazy!<br><br>Anthony is now God. That
was the best move on the entire love cruise...i
couldn't stop laughing at Toni.<br><br>Toni did tell
Jenette she would give her money, but Toni viewed it more
as an act of charity and possibly securing Jenette's
allegiance in voting off Mike, and maybe getting Jenette to
sacrifice herself to the guys so Toni can win. But Toni got
called out on it - and she got mad cuz she knew it was
ALL TRUE. It was indeed a bribe, no ifs ands or buts
about it.

Ralph thought that Melissa and possibly Tomika
were going to save him...I guess he didn't realize
that Melissa had turned on him and Toni. I guess Ralph
thought that he finally got on Tomika's good side - seems
like Tomika is playing the game and her one real move
was fooling Ralph - congrats girl, u gone done good.
Finally, Ralph thought that Toni and Melissa would vote
off Michael and that Toni could convince Jenette to
vote off Michael.

Tabrug, I loved your reference to Queen For a
Day. I remember it as a really pathetic show, starring
some poor widow, saddled with multiple children,
trying to stave off welfare by taking in laundry. (You
and I must be about the same age.)<br><br>How do you
think Jeanette would play on that show? I missed part
of the episode where she talked about her daughter,
but apparently she had her as a teenager. I don't
think our mothers ironing at home while watching QFAD
and ironing Daddy's shirts would have been as
sympathetic as The Girls on Love Cruise.<br><br>What do you

Sorry! I thought someone else would. I don't have
it on tape so I can't give precise
details.<br><br>but here it goes...(I expect others can fill in the
details)<br><br>Anthony tells the guys at his table that he's going to go
set Toni off by hinting that something was said about
her...<br><br>Goes to table...baits Toni with the oh so unbelievable
"I don't want to be the one who says it" kind of
crap.<br><br>Of course Toni flips and starts her rant -- No, tell
me. You're kill'n me...I'm freak'n out! <br><br>I
don't recall precisely why but she flew out of her
chair (again!) and raced after Melissa! She gets right
in her face and starts accusing her of saying things
behind her back. Melissa (bless her heart) doesn't back
down at all and tells her about the bribe accusation.
"you're saying that was a bribe?" Screams our spaced out
friend Toni. <br><br>So Melissa says to ask Jeanette
since that's what she told us. So somehow Jeanette gets
into the middle of the fray (I think there was an edit
point so I don't recall how exactly she entered the
scene) but then Toni EXPLODES on her saying the same
thing to the effect that it wasn't a bribe, how could
you say it was a bribe, I never did (you're mother
dresses you funny...No, I put that part in) and the like.
<br><br>Jeanette (again bless her heart) manages to wipe Toni's
spit off her face -- kidding, manages to stand her
ground saying basically that it was when they were alone
in one of the rooms, no one around and "you said if
you go out there and say that you want off the boat
Ralph and I will give you $20,000." <br><br>Toni (still
steaming) again says in a totally insincere voice (my
interpretation) that "you took that as a bribe?...it was not!!"
<br>Then they back and forth'd in a "I know you are but
what am I?" kind a way about how it wasn't a bribe.
<br><br>All the while this was exploding we got shots of
Anthony back at his table with ( I don't recall
who)pointing and laughing so hard I bet he was peeing his
pants. <br> <br>I myself was laughing so hard that I
don't recall what was said next but Toni took it to an
even higher level (if you can believe it) and was
ranting about something like "do you want to make me?"
and her eyes came as close as they have yet to
popping clear out of her eye sockets. <br><br>Now, since
this is not based on a recording but my blurry memory,
it is likely not entirely accurate. Kind of like
someone passing a message to the person next to them in a
giant circle of people, and having the message that
comes back to them totally different than the one they
sent out. But...I hope this spurrs people to fill in
the blanks for you.

I hope they make some changes to the show. The
host is dull (cute but dull) and the competitions are
stupid. The show has so much potential but they haven't
thought it through, it seems.<br><br>As always, JMHO

Not one single person offered a run down of Toni's tirade from Tuesday nite. 
PLEEEZE???

A conclusion I've come to is either (okay so it's
2, but it's about one person) 1) you like Toni or
hate her, there is no in between or 2) she's sexy
because she's not anorexic looking or sick because she
has some muscle and just the right amount of fat.
<br>Since I'm a straight chick I don't exactly find her
sexy but I really think more people should accept the
fact that she's actually a very healthy size. Toni's
playing the game just as everyone else is, there isn't a
person on that boat that wasn't playing the game. Don't
jump on just one person for playing it. Everyone has
their different angles and it may seem like they're not
playing, but I guarantee they laugh their butts off when
they wind up screwing someone over. <br>I can't wait
until Tuesday to see what happens though. If they have
another Love Cruise it will probably be so different than
this one (and I probably won't like it as much since I
seem to find the original thing a lot better than
remakes). No predictions from me on what'll happen.

I have an idea for a dream final Hot Seat: Get
Toni in the Hot Seat, ask her ANY question, and then
have everybody hold up their BS paddles because nobody
can believe her anymore anyway. Then have her dare be
that somebody take a nude photo of her except for
strategically-placed three-dollar bills on her body!!<br> I know, I
know...Jeanette would say the same thing to me, as she did to
Toni at the close of Episode Six! LOL<br><br> Just a
random thought...

Remember the preview way back when, when Darin says "If I want to show someone
some affection, back off," who do you think he's referring to?

What I hope will happen is that Darin will
replace Melissa with Tomiko, remembering that he was
Tomiko's first choice from Day One. Tomiko, too me, seems
to be the most decent person out of the whole cast.
It was too bad she and "Aristotle" Anthony lost that
Barbra Streisand (take it off her initials) competition.
Also, I hope Jeanette will either take herself out of
the competition because she was brought back under
false pretenses, or switch Michael out of the
game.<br><br>What I think is going to happen, however, is that
Darin and Melissa will remain. Darin won't use the
switch card. As for Jeanette, I think she will switch
Michael out of the game. Reasons being (1) I can't help
recalling a bunch of Michael's narratives looking like they
were filmed on Loser Island, and (2), in the preview
for the last episode, there is a scene on the beach
where Michael and Jeanette are hugging each other, and
they're both looking sad, as if they're saying goodbye.
My guess is that Jeanette switches Michael for
either Ralph or Anthony or...dare I say Adrian? (I
couldn't help noticing that preview scene where Adrian and
Gina hugging each other happily, as if maybe one of
them is back in the game...?) The latter seems VERY
unlikely, but maybe they reached some common ground on
Hindsight 20/20 Island...I don't know.<br><br>My $.02.

I can't believe that little fart Micheal and
Melissa made it! Those two are so scandelous and just
back stabbing! And as far as Gennet and Daren I wish
Daren would wake up and smell the coffee that Melissa
is just playing him like a fool he is! And miss
Gennet she is roothless person in my eyes she gives this
big boo hoo story about her daughter and everyone
feels so bad for her! She is minipulating everyone with
her story of how she wants to send her daught to
college! And I think Tony was just saying it how it is!
Everone knows that she isn't going to make it nobody
likes her for the things she does and says about

I forget so much that I wanted to comment on
because I read all the postes I missed before I replied.
<br><br>I do admit that Toni does have a temper. Nothing
really wrong with yelling, it's better than beating the
crap out of people (which I don't have a problem with
either because I love wrestling). I still really like
her. As for her being fat, wow. She is so not fat. She
has something to her than bones and a little bit of
muscle (and any muscle, even the teeniest amounts show
on girls who are sickly thin). Wow, get over the
fact that she's on TV and does not have the "perfect"
body. God, how shallow is that? Why are you worrying
about whether she's gained any weight at all or not? I
hate to break it to people, but body size does not
make a person. Jeanette is not a whole lot smaller
than Toni and has less muscle mass.<br><br>Speaking of
Jeannette, I don't think she should win the money at all.
The way I see it is this . . . she's a single mother,
sure I have some sympathy there, but she left her kid

This last episode was so funny because Anthony
had already lost and so he wanted to have some funny.
I didn't like Anthony while he was playing but I
thought was hilarious when they showed him laughing and
saying "watch this" to the other guys at the
table.<br><br>All I hope is that Michael and Jeanette don't win, if
this ends like boot camp(which was the worst ending of
any reality show of all time). I don't care who wins
just not them.

I really agree with you. Melissa and Darin are
great together. I'd love them to win and Melissa would
really be a winner if she and Darin fell in love. I
can't imagine her boyfriend at home being as warm,
intelligent, nice, etc. etc. at Darin plus Darin openly adores
hers.
