Hi Everyone,
As most of you know, for the past few days I have been collecting
emails to
make the 3rd season DVD's happen sooner..
However, i have only received 33 emails.
I appreciate all that have emailed them over to me to date, but we
need more,
lots and lots more! to send to TPTB anything less then 100 would do
us no
good at all, and frankly, well over the hundred would impress them
alot more.
I am asking everyone, every member of every FK list that see's this
to send
an email for TPTB.The reason we all signed on to the lists was our
love for the
show. Lets show TPTB that our feelings for it have not changed. that
we want
that Third set of DVD's releases sooner rather then later!
Include your name and any other info you feel you would like
such as, how much you have enjoyed the past two seasons that have
been released and ask for extras, etc ....
Remember, we need at the very least one hundred, naturally, lots more
is
better!

Does anyone have any idea at all when the next sets are going to be
released??  I have searched the internet daily for signs, but there
is no info at all.  I got my boyfriend into the show, and he's now
stuck with just the first season!  My VHS tapes are worn thin,
scratchy and icky, and I want the DVDs!!

Good evening,

Since the price correction, Forever Knight has significantly dropped at
Amazon.com to a ranking of 633 (it was at 29 in its prime). Sales at this
specific site are very important. Think of it as the top online site and
Best Buy as the top local one. Sales figures are looked at closely through
both of these and of course others, but these are the main ones. Sony even
links to Amazon through their own website. That's why I have strongly
encouraged fans to order one copy online and one copy locally at Best Buy.
We're not the hugest fandom in the world, so we really need to double our
#'s to ensure we get the other 2 seasons and perhaps some extras too.

It really should not be a problem to fans if they *don't* honor the lower
price....why? Because I highly doubt Columbia TriStar would be happy selling
so many at the *wrong* price, therefore making less profit than they should
have, therefore lessening our chances for the other seasons on DVD. It is
very normal to pay $50+ for a TV series on DVD. Think of all the stuff
you're getting on multiple discs and compare it to the costs of individual
DVD movies. You *are* getting a good deal.

Remember, we've been begging for these DVDs a long time now...We finally
have them. Let's make Columbia Tristar really glad they put this show on
DVD. ~g~

Here's a thought...what if Columbia TriStar was looking at the online orders
and saw just how many people were already ordering FK? Maybe, this is why
they are suddenly thinking about adding some extras like the "Commentaries
by cast and crew" mentioned at Barnes and Noble & the GWDFC (Ger *was*
contacted recently). You guys want extras right? Keep those orders coming!

"pre-order." You can view the links to them via my "Save the Knight"
section. I am waiting to pre-order from Amazon, most likely, myself. I also
plan to buy the DVDs in person at Best Buy when they come out Oct. 21st.

Note, while online orders are important, so are purchases from a local
retail store like "Best Buy." If you're planning to buy 2 sets, pick an
online store *and* a local store.

davisdvd posted the FK Season One Boxset menus today. They're absolutely
gorgeous! I love the designs!

According to the site this set is known as "Forever Knight Trilogy Pt 1"
which really sounds like Columbia Tristar already has plans to release the
other 2 seasons soon. The first set is being released Oct. 21, 2003, with 5
discs (I find this a bit odd...other shows with 22 episodes tend to be 6
discs) at only 29.95 retail (that's cheap!). It looks like we got cheated on
the extras though. I had a feeling that would happen. All I see is trailers,
but I bet they will still be great to watch.

Anyways, love the artwork! Can't wait to see the cover art as well!
