Brief delurk!=0A=A0=0AHi {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Laurie}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}!!=
=0A=A0=0A<<Even in healthy people, sometimes when you stand up too fast, th=
e blood stays in the lower parts of the body, and you feel a little lighthe=
aded. Combine that with the =0Afact that my blood pressure has been high, a=
nd Laurie does a really good impersonation of a felled tree. Only the tree =
doesn't lose continence.>>=0A=A0=0ASince what Laurie is describing (replyin=
g on list just in case this happens to anyone else, and sorry for the=A0cro=
ss post), in my experience, and according to some research we BOTH did....=
=0A=A0=0AFirst of all, what Laurie describes is a "Vaso-Vagal" response (pa=
rt of the diagonostic=A0assumption having=A0come=A0from the "bear down" thi=
ng), with Syncope or=A0fainting.=A0In most cases, and, I have had many pati=
ents with this problem--particularly those=A0with heart defects.=A0 V-V res=
ponse results in LOW blood pressure for one thing, and is generally not ass=
ociated with incontinence (wetting oneself), or loss of memory directly pri=
or to the event.=A0 I'm not going into a big scary list of what it "might" =
be--a little seizure is one and some other things.=A0 I don't thing she was=
properly evaluated--well, what I mean is *thoroughly* enough, and I ask th=
at we all keep Laurie in our prayers as she seeks further help after talkin=
g with her!=0A=A0=0A<<I have a feeling the aches will be worse the next cou=
ple of days.>>=0A=A0=0AOWWW, oh yeah, that part is for certain ((((((big hu=
gs))))))!!!=0A=0A=A0=0AGod Bless and Forever Yours,=0A=A0=0ABillie-Lee [RN,=
