Dermot Morgan was 45 when he died. It was the day
after the end of filming on the third series of 'Ted',
and three days before his 46th birthday. He died of a
heart attack, at a dinner party he was holding with
family and friends to celebrate the end of his filming.
He died circa. April 1998, just a couple of days
after he'd finishing filming the final episode of
Father Ted. I'm not sure exactly what it was he died of,
(a heart attack maybe?) but theres one thing for
sure, he was and still is sorely missed. I remember
exactly where I was when I heard the news; in the car
going home after volleyball training, the news came on
the radio and I just couldn't believe it. I guess its
kinda like remembering where you were when Elvis
died...though that particular case doesn't personally apply to
me, I wasn't even a foetus at the time!<br>Anyhow,
hope that helps :)
Yeah I loved Happy Camper :)<br>Kept me laughing
for ages...<br>"And what do you say to a
cup?"<br>"FECK OFF CUP!!"<br>"I'm a happy camper!"<br>...repeat
about a million times<br><br>just brilliant!<br>I tried
downloading another thing called Mrs Doyles Tearific Tune (or
something like that) but it took too long, might try later,
if Napster is still there that is!
i had the thinktoy downloads but deleted them cos
they drove me mad!<br>but they r good so i'll probably
get them again.<br>the happy camper download off
davidwicks2000<br>file is pretty good
u know u can get loads of ted stuff off napster
by tapping in father ted where it says artist<br>& u
can get the mp3's on it from the thinktoy website &
lots off soundclips too
Glad to hear you`ve downloaded "Happy Camper",
agent_eire. You`ll have 2 tell me what you think about it
once you`ve listened.<br><br>I joined Napster
yesterday, as there is another Jack Hackett-sampling track
I`ve made entitled "Girls & Bricks", which a 5 and a
half mins has too big a memory for me to fit into m
briefcase.<br><br>The thing is, as I`m relatively new to Napster, I`m
no sure what the prcedure is for downloading other
peoples music is, so if anyone here is keen on hearing
"Girls & Bricks", I can`t give you proper instructions.
I imagine you would click
on....<br><br><a href=http://www.napster.com
target=new>http://www.napster.com</a><br><br>....then type in my username
somewhere along the line, or
type in the name of the track. My Napster username is
BrickBoy1980, so if anyone here wants to give it a crack,
please let me know how you get on, thanks.<br><br>Also,
I have made two different tracks, one sampling
Ritchie and Eddie from Bottom, and one sampling Homer
Simpson. These two should be available from Napster also,
but if you encounterany problems, I will be putting
these tracks into my Yahoo Briefcase later on tonight,
for you to download at your leisure.<br><br>Thanks
everybody<br><br><a href=http://briefcase.yahoo.com/davidwicks2000
target=new>http://briefcase.yahoo.com/davidwicks2000</a>
Cheers Dave! I'm in the middle of the process of
downloading it now...if its half as good as the original line
was in the "Hell" episode then I'm in for a
treat!<br>BTW, have a look at my briefcase if ya want, I have
"My Lovely Horse" in it...its soooooooooooo funny, I
only downloaded it yesterday but I've been listening
to nothing but it
since!<br><a href=http://briefcase.yahoo.com/agent_eire
target=new>http://briefcase.yahoo.com/agent_eire</a><br><br>30% downloaded,
thanks again Dave :-)

For those of you who love a) dance music, and b)
the almighty Father Jack Hackett, your day has
arrived!<br><br>For I have recorded a song entitled "Happy Camper",
sampling the Jackster in all his feckin` glory. And it`s
available for all of you to download for free. Go to my
briefcase, and
enjoy:<br><br><a href=http://briefcase.yahoo.com/davidwicks2000
target=new>http://briefcase.yahoo.com/davidwicks2000</a><br><br>I actually
recorded TWO Jack-sampling tunes, the
other being called "Girls & Bricks", in my mind, the
better of the two tracks. But as it weighs in at a hefty
5 and a half minutes long, its too big, even as an
mp3 file, to fit in my briefcase.<br><br>But not to
worry, as I hope you all enjoy "Happy Camper". Let me
know what you thi nk to it, and if you encounter any
problems, e-mail me: davidwicks2000@... <br><br>.

download it off Napster of one of the good Father Ted
